I have had multiple experiences here where I have shopped and found absolutely nothing with reasonable prices. They sell clothing items that are for children and make it seem like they are for adults, then rack the prices up 2-3x what they would or should be. Almost everything I have seen on the hangers here have rips, stains, missing buttons, or very loose buttons. I understand it's a thrift store, but they make it seem like they are "high end" when in reality they're ripping off their customers...especially students?..It just feels wrong. Another part of the experience that really frustrates me is how rude the employees are. Every time I have come in, the employees have a really terrible attitude; and do not make the experience enjoyable at all. I'm aware that I can take my money somewhere else, however I think that others should know and be aware of the reality of this store. The Racks...if you want loyal customers and more than 5 yelp reviews (especially being in a student/ tourist populated town) then do better!!

We walked in and we're immediately greeted by the woman working. She was kind, welcoming, and helpful. She let us wander, as there is a ton of stuff to see. It's really hard to take it all in with one trip alone, or if you don't have much time. But also walked through the store to see if we needed anything, wanted to see something in a case, or just had questions. What I appreciated is she checked on us, because I did want to see things and ask questions, but it wasn't invasive. We ended up buying a beautiful paperweight for my desk, a glass turtle, and a wooden yarn spool for my craft projects. I think we spent $50 on those three things, which wasn't expensive at all, in my opinion. This is a fun store where you can take trips down memory lane, enjoy the nostalgia of things, add to a collection you have, and just enjoy seeing everything they have to offer. My husband and I did exactly that yesterday while walking around. I always find this shop to be relaxing and fun to walk around in and spend some time. Would I return? Yes! Definitely yes. We've been coming in here for a couple of years and love it. We'll definitely keep coming back.
