I have had multiple experiences here where I have shopped and found absolutely nothing with reasonable prices. They sell clothing items that are for children and make it seem like they are for adults, then rack the prices up 2-3x what they would or should be. Almost everything I have seen on the hangers here have rips, stains, missing buttons, or very loose buttons. I understand it's a thrift store, but they make it seem like they are "high end" when in reality they're ripping off their customers...especially students?..It just feels wrong. Another part of the experience that really frustrates me is how rude the employees are. Every time I have come in, the employees have a really terrible attitude; and do not make the experience enjoyable at all. I'm aware that I can take my money somewhere else, however I think that others should know and be aware of the reality of this store. I was about to walk out the door and leave what I was buying right there on the counter, take my money and my additional donation out the door with me until a very friendly customer offered to make change for me. I talked to the "manager" and she was not a friendly person and was rather condescending. This new policy of hers is going to end up costing them a LOT of money in lost sales and credit card charges. Her excuse was that they are a non-profit and therefore can not keep very much cash on hand for making change. This is the first time I have ever seen ANY non-profit unwilling to make change for a $50. This new policy will certainly make me think twice about going there in the future.
