I was about to walk out the door and leave what I was buying right there on the counter, take my money and my additional donation out the door with me until a very friendly customer offered to make change for me. I talked to the "manager" and she was not a friendly person and was rather condescending. This new policy of hers is going to end up costing them a LOT of money in lost sales and credit card charges. Her excuse was that they are a non-profit and therefore can not keep very much cash on hand for making change. This is the first time I have ever seen ANY non-profit unwilling to make change for a $50. This new policy will certainly make me think twice about going there in the future.

We have been going to Vintage Industry consistently- many visits- over the last 4 years since we moved to the area. We have bought a lot of furniture, artwork, gifts and other items. We love the unique variety of vendors, the excellent selections, the curation of items and we consistently find great value. I'm mostly a mid-century gal but there is something here for everyone. The holiday events are always fun and don't deprive yourself of the epic sourdough bread and fresh-baked sweet treats! Besides the great array of awesome finds, we also come back for the service- the staff are friendly, helpful and we look forward to seeing them!

They have a great book section, and their general household section is pretty big. They also have a lot of furniture to peruse. The people who work here are nice, just incredibly busy. The parking lot is a bit of a nightmare and, aside from being out in Springfield, is the only drawback to this location. It is tough to get out of and finding a spot can be challenging even in the middle of a weekday. I don't come here super often, but I like to stop by when I'm in the area. My friend and I visited and were greeted by 2 employees. The shoes are located on the right hand side of entering along with purses. Up above, there are the prices of what colors are on sale, 25% or 50% off. [Organization]: This store is **organized**! The books [category, but way spacious to look], DVDs, CDs, stationary, seasonal decor, shoes [by color not size, then by category], photo frames, cups, furniture, clothes are all on racks with clear signs, and etc. They do have a good handful of jewelry and other speciality items in cases. It was easy to find a helpful and friendly employee to ask for an item in the case. [Price]: I do think depending on what the item is, St.Vinnies is cheaper than Goodwill. At Vinnies, most of the items are a flat price. Such as books, buttons, cards, clothes,and magazines. I ended up buying a handful of books and magazines, and spent about $30. This place is completely different than what I imagine, it is so cool. I breezed past it on my way elsewhere, somehow not registering the really cute Frog Man. I only turned around when my friend mentioned they had zines, and they were lovely! I bought a Queer Animal coloring book and my friend purchased some very vintage sunglasses. I also saw some amazing hand crafted jewelry there and some very unique shoes. There was SO much to look at that my eyes would breeze past something and then the second round notice there was another thing! My friend said the shop is good for ADHD and I agree.
