It's a nice place, although getting in and out of the parking lot sucks due to speed, blind corners, and giant hill coming in and out. The shoe repair prices are lower than at other shops, and the work is good. I recently dropped off three pairs. They call you when the shoes are ready. A week and a half later I was in the area, and decided to call to see if they were ready. Well. First thing to know about Burch's shoe repair - they usually don't answer the phone. You need to leave a message and the "counter girl" will later return your call. So I decided to come in to check. That was a mistake. You ring the doorbell and, well, I guess I must have interrupted some shoe repair, because this guy was not happy to see me, brusquely telling me I will be called when the shoes are ready. Fine. I later picked up the shoes. One pair looked a little different, but I figured it was just that I had not seen the shoes in a while. At home, I realized my heel cups were missing. The insoles for my boots were returned. So I called them (left a message of course) and asked if they had them. She later called me to say they didn't see them. *I* certainly don't have them, and I have reason to believe I left them in like I did the other pair. So I asked her if they would compensate me to replace the heel cups. I agreed with her that a big fat $10 would be enough - although driving back and forth to this dumb shop is costing me some too. She called back after speaking with the boss, who said that it is "against policy" to compensate me for what they lost, and it's "my responsibility" that I didn't remove the heel cups before dropping the shoes off, which was news to me. Anyway, they do get a star simply because the repairs are good. And this review unfortunately has nothing to do with the shoe store; if they want to conglomerate the reviews this is what you get.

I was immediately greeted when I went in, and the employee asked if I wanted something specific. Yes, baby shoes. He starts by asking me about size. In this case, size doesn't matter so much (the only time I've ever said that! Lol) as the design. He asks the standard questions, directs me to the section of baby shoes, while telling me about their current sale. I showed him a pic of what I had in mind. I really want pink and white baby DC shoes. They didn't have that, but had Converse shoes in pink. Again, not what I was aiming for. Their girl shoe section isn't spectacular, unless you want girly, glittery, bubblegum pink and blues. Even though they didn't have what I wanted, both employees really tried to help me. I appreciated that, and that customer service is what would bring me back in the future to check out their selection. I'd definitely come back, and will probably end up looking for shoes for my husband as well. Review 2 of 2017.

This wasn't one size fits all...no way. The management at Rack Room got with the staff at Guy Lee to get sizes and kind of shoes the kids liked. This is the first I've ever heard of any store gifting like this. Having taught elementary school in my beginning teaching career, I know how much this must have meant to those kids. Just Excellent! If possible, although nothing was mentioned along these lines, it would be appropriate for our community to give this store some business as a thank you! Check it out.

This store is large, open and is loaded like a supermarket with footwear and footwear only! Which means that it is organized and has plenty of every style and size. You won't find floors littered with boxes and mixed shoes lying around. You WILL find actual STAFF available and willing to help. There is some obscure brand I never heard of that the Mrs wanted for jazzercise, and the staff helping us walked us right to that selection. The store is brightly lit, shelves are easy enough to look over to see the signs depicting brands, prices are also much better here. Next time I'm looking for Skechers for under $75 I know where to go. Don't get it wrong though, they also have some really top of the line brands as well. I like this place because when you focus on one thing and one thing only, it gets done well. 5 stars for organization, pricing and variety.

I knew we were coming to Eugene to meet my Mom so I decided to come return them at this store. I didn't want to do an exchange because I didn't know if they had a 9. When I got there the lady who helped me was awesome. She refunded my money and we walked to where the TOMS were and she asked did I think I could be in an 8.5 because that's what they had. I tried them on, walked around and they fit! I was shocked. All shoes fit differently, but I didn't think it would be that drastic. Yay! I paid $35.00 online and so she priced matched it for me in store because it was $55.00. I was so grateful for her help and price adjustment. I highly recommend DSW in Eugene.

I was a concierge at a nearby hotel and I would hear from our guests daily about how they were treated poorly. Now they have a new policy that they don't return shoes after 6 months. But on the Nike app it shows all purchases from years back. Why have the app that shows you purchases if the store won't take back brand new items. No where does it say this in stores or online. I have hundreds of pairs of new shoes that they refuse to trade in for new releases. I am done with Nike. I love supporting smaller athletic and athleisure wear companies but Nike is Nike and will always be Nike. I think it's still a solid choice for Men but there are so many far better small brand options for Women in my opinion. My brother is also sponsored by Nike and Callaway so buying these brands at retail price just seems silly to me. I have zero reason to do it other than wanting something right then and there - and I did! I wanted a little gift to bring home to my son, since he's a runner and I was in Eugene. I found a great shirt for him. Customer service was great, store associates were friendly at each encounter.
