Ever since COVID, it seems like it has tried to become a Texas thrift trying to promote clothes, but did not do it successfully. Their prices and value are also not quite up to par. Compared to similar thrift stores in the area. My biggest issue today? Customer service was absolutely unacceptable. I feel like they were uncomfortable because of all the pictures I was taking? The two ladies in front kept staring and whispering to each other and looking back at me. I decided to give them the benefits of the doubt- they must have better things to talk about? I had nothing with me but my mobile, so why were they following me around? I looked through the clothes for about twenty minutes, then went over to the shoes, then back to the clothes. Then I went over to request getting into the fitting rooms, which were locked. One lady from the front came over as I stood there. "Something wrong?" Was the first thing she said to me. Taken aback, I replied, no, I was trying to get into a fitting room, please? I showed her my three garments. "Were you putting clothes back?" "What?" "My associates said you were putting clothes back." I looked at her blankly. "They said you took some and were putting them back in the shoes section." "I apologize, ma'am, I do not know what you are talking about," I answered in the most polite voice, even though I was getting increasingly frustrated. "They saw you. Take clothes and put them by the shoes." At this point, I was ready to leave. If this was how they were treating customers, I was not about to beg to be let into the fitting room, let alone give them my business. "I do not know what you are talking about, How about we go to the shoes and you can show me? I did not put anything there, only the clothes I have in my hands." "No. They took them away", she replies. Silence. "I am going to have you ask you to leave," she says. I don't even care anymore. Frankly, I am not sure whether I am more puzzled by how this confusion has taken place or more shocked that they have the audacity to treat a customer like this with no grounds. She did not even try to communicate with me with kindness. She was accusatory, told me to leave, and that was that. I left. Never plan to return. Good riddance. Highly not recommended. Zero stars!

I'm a big fan of Goodwill in general, but this particular location off Loop 410 is one of my favorites. They have a huge selection of gently used, reasonably priced merchandise, easily navigable aisles, and helpful, courteous staff. Whenever I visit a Goodwill, I make a beeline for the media section towards the back. Here you will find many goodies: beastly, bulky CRT TV's, woodgrained HiFi equipment from the 70's, tons of DVDs, and (if you're lucky) an occasional vintage video game console or computer from the late 70's/early 80's. This location features a huge selection of dirt-cheap VCR's, which I've used as passthrough devices to connect antique video game consoles to modern TV's. Shopping for clothes has never been my forte, but I've been impressed with their selection of menswear. If you're in the market for a $5 pair of gently worn Levi's, ties, or dress shirts, then swallow your pride and visit this location. You'll save a fortune and no one will know you purchased your ensemble from a thrift store. Before you leave, be sure to peruse the items housed in the display cases towards the front. On one occasion, I spotted two somewhat rare handheld video game systems for $10 each. Both the GameCom and the WonderSwan sell for considerably more online, so I made out like a bandit. The former is universally considered one of the worst systems of all time (hence its ironic popularity among retro gamers), and the latter was a Japanese product never released in North America. Unbeknownst to me, the WonderSwan came installed with a Japanese RPG game cartridge, which would have set me back at least $30 had I purchased it online. How Goodwill came in possession of either system is a mystery, but I dare not look a gift horse in the mouth. Regardless of your interests, you're bound to find at least something interesting every time you visit. My favorite thrift in the spot is the books. They are very reasonably priced and you can get quite a few or under a dollar, which is pretty impossible in a lot of other thrift stores. The staff here is friendly and helpful. They have a little boutique section in the front where they keep the newer clothing with tags, and more designer wise items. I do think some of their prices are on the higher end, which is disappointing when you're trying to get some affordable items. Clothing, however, it's usually reduced, so along with the books a good purchase. Not so much their purses, and some of their other accessories. It's worth a visit to search through their treasures and find some good thrifts. This is not my favorite thrift store, but it will be some of the goodwill prices in a pinch.

The store is relatively small, but they pack so much stuff in it! I ended up spending nearly 1.5 hours here. The prices are reasonable. They are slightly more than some goodwills. I don't know what size I'm trying on and I'm not buying clothes that I can't try on when I asked the manager about it and asked him if I could return clothes if they didn't fit if I can't try them on because a couple of the items that I wanted to buy for an event like a costume party I was not gonna be buying if I couldn't try on and they were like jumpers and things I could not try on over my clothes. He told me just to try on over my clothes and that I could not return them if they didn't fit he also mentioned well I mean it's the same for the furniture and the shoes no, sir it's not the same. I don't need to try on furniture and also I can slip my feet into shoes. I will not be returning to Salvation Army army. I'm very upset by this. I guess Goodwill will be getting my business and I can't imagine that this is good for their business.

Some of the items I find are over $20 dollars and not worth 1/2 that price. Unfortunately, the closest thrift store to me, is this Goodwill, so I visit it regularly. For this trip, I found a few items that I ended up leaving, and some were definitely too over priced. I have purchased some great items here and there, with excellent prices, but not today. The place has a good amount of items and staff can be friendly and helpful, so I don't mind ending up here once a week. Plus, they relatively organized and clean. I would recommend coming here because every so often, amidst the higher prices, there are some hidden treasures, such as a set of hard cover new books that sold for way less than the ones on the original sellers site. But it does take dedication and time, which is definitely a luxury.

Overall the store is fairly well organized, but when I went today, it was a little messy. They do have a rather large selection of clothes that are mostly organized by size. They did have some brand new items you could buy (camping stuff, portable heaters) but they all seemed to be priced too high. I found some cool finds-a really great 3 piece older luggage set that was in great shape and a large set of new stamps (even though I didn't end up buying them). I can usually find a couple pieces of clothing that make it home with me each time I go, and I typically can find things that stil have a store tag on them! This Goodwill does stay pretty busy and you can expect a wait when you check-out. The dressing rooms and bathrooms are in good shape/clean, so that's a plus!

I realize thrift stores rely on donations, but several items we picked up were marked boutique but appeared more than lightly worn. Many of the clothing items were heavily worn and not in good repair. A necklace behind the counter was missing more than a few gems. The store is organized by categories but the lighting is awful, and makes it seem dirty even if it isn't, and there are dead ends/blocked aisles that require you to turn around and go the other way. Staff seemed friendly enough. I interacted 3 times with a young male teen and he seemed pretty low key minimal interaction but by the 3rd chat we hit it off to to speak. He's probably just slow to warm up. I did try on a few clothing items that I purchased. My friend also found something. But I don't think we will add this to our list of shops to frequent.

What I love most is the daily deals. The employees are always super helpful. They also have an area referenced as their "Boutique" items which are higher end items that are a little more pricey but again very good finds at a fraction of the retail price and in very good condition.
