I enjoy shopping at this Goodwill. It is smaller in size compared to the one in Fort Mill and others in Charlotte. Prices are comparable but overall, Goodwill has noticeably increased prices all across the board, state to State. Corporate will give the same ol speech when it comes to that. I do enjoy the standard pricing that we have in the Carolinas. I am from PA and each and every item has its own price and tag (sounds like too much work lol). However, I do think we can learn from other thrift stores by hanging the jeans/pants sideways. It's so much neater, easier to read the brand/size and they do not slip off the hangers nearly as much as the regular way. Just my two cents lol read more

Super thrift shopping and I think that Marie Kondo lady is starting to have an impact. This Goodwill was very well packed to the gills, at least with clothing, books and DVDs. Some of the household stuff was well picked over and not looking incredible organized, but the clothes? Very good. It doesn't matter what time or what day I go, this place always seems to be packed full of people. The inventory is organized for the most part, but it's hard to even look at anything half of the time with so many people in such a space at once. And to be fair, it's not like the inventory is worth it from what I've seen. Every time I visit this location I never find any good finds or steals, just lots of t shirts, sweaters, and coats. The shopping environment here can be very stressful. Parking is always full/limited and I end up having to park at the grocery store next door and walk over. Today was my final visit with this place. Let me start my review off with letting you know that I have not been inside of the store before - I have only dropped items off. There can actually be a bit of a wait at times to drop items off, but it doesn't usually take too long. Employees are friendly, however the drop off area (inside of the store) sometimes looks quite cluttered and disorganized. read more

The whole concept of Goodwill is to accept donations and then resell those items at a profit. Well, they have definitely reached that goal. Their profit margin is astronomical here. They do not have sales like most Goodwills would, but they do have a senior discount on Tuesdays. Their price for items here is just too much. For instance, I found a nice Contigo water bottle. The lock switch was broken, but they wanted to charge eight dollars for this. There's a huge black pot for holding big plants in and one lady told me it has been sitting in the store for a very long time because it's priced at $20. Clothing is upwards of $10. $5 for a pair shorts. I could go to Walmart and get a brand new pair of shorts for $5. Why?? So irritated, I'm not coming back. read more

Every time I go to this location it is extremely cluttered with long lines. The dressing rooms have piles of clothes in there as well. I'm surprised this Goodwill doesn't have sales in particular days of the week like other ones. I usually go to Goodwill to thrift or donate, but I'm going to start choosing another location. read more

This particular Goodwill is heavily shopped, and terribly disorganized and messy. Items that they think they can get a little more for, they place under glass or behind the registers and then they mark them.up to full retail prices. These registers, which are always backed up because management doesn't seem to have the common sense to open more than one register during busy times are slow and annoying to deal with. I have been going to this goodwill since it opened. Even though the location is close to my house I shop here less and less because the prices keep climbing. I understand it's a business and prophet is part of business, but the furniture especially is waaaayyyy over priced. I understand they do but some items from target but the greater majority of their items are given to them!!!!!! I rarely buy clothing there anymore because I can buy it new on sale or clearance for less. Many other Goodwills, including in other states have clothing separated by type and by size, this store separates by type and color. I also find it frustrating that other Goodwill stores (including ones in Columbia SC) have sale and clearance items. No such thing here! The closest this store has come to that (as far as I have seen and I used to shop here a lot) is on occasion pillows, stuffed animals or flip flops will be briefly discounted. Other Goodwills I have been to also have a senior discount card good any day of the week. This location gives seniors a discount on Tuesdays. Every once in a while I find a good deal on a random item but since, clothing, shoes and bedding specifically have greatly increased in price it's few far and in between. I will still stop in occasionally but find better deals at other smaller name thrift shops. read more

All of these reviews are awful and I have no idea why! I got four cute shirts, a picture frame, and a book for 19.70. I also checked out the cassette tape collection and they had great choices like The Beatles, Kenny Loggins, and Barbra Streisand. In addition, it was very organized. I would 10/10 recommended visiting this Goodwill. read more
