As a consigner,volunteer and shopper I've been able to see the dedication put in to all aspects of the sale. Although the location is not consistent, the WeeSale team announces their biannual sale in Rock Hill on their website and Facebook. Entry dates for shoppers and volunteers are dependent on your volunteer or consigner status. The owner is great at getting back to those who may be confused. When shopping on the first few days clothes are marked as is. Consigners have listed their own prices on items so it's easy to get a great steal. However towards the end of the sale, items can go reduced so clothes and other items are sold at a faster rate. The website is easy to navigate and consigner logins are easy to retrieve. It's important to keep up with registration dates because spots fill quickly. However you can always register later as a restock. Make sure to read the emails, especially if you're a registered consigner because important information such as setting up your drop off time or volunteer times for early access is all done via email. I've shopped and consigned there for years. I've left to find holes in items and upon reaching out was told all sales final. I went just yesterday and discovered a dress I purchased was incorrectly tagged as a 10 but was really an 8. Was told all sales final. Despite this being their/the consignor error. This was officially the last time I ever shop/consign there. I'd rather pay a little more and never worry I'm not getting what I paid for or will be stuck with it because of some hand written all sales final signs. Also, apparently warranty of merchantability don't apply to them. My husband has asked me for years when will I stop shopping there? Today is that day! read more

The new location this year is much larger, easier to move around and the air conditioning worked! I was a little disappointed by this year's sale though. Volunteers and consignors and then preview night people (who have to buy tickets) shop first, so all the goodies they show in their video walk through a few days before the sale will definitely not be available, even to the people who purchase preview night tickets, because two groups of people have already gotten to shop. If you can't volunteer or consign, you're just out of luck in that area. I think volunteers, consignors and those who purchase preview tickets should all be able to shop the same day, then the public the next day. I found some cute things for my daughter who is wearing 12-18months clothes, but very little for my son who wears 4T-5T. The older children's clothing items were very worn. One thing I saw that bothered me was that there were unopened packages of Hot Wheels matchbox cars. There were 5 in a small box. I picked one up and it had an orange sticker on it, from wherever it was originally purchased from, that said $2.50. Then I looked on the back and the Wee Sale had put their own white label on it as costing $8.50. What a markup! I went back to the sale the next day, hoping to be able to look around better with less crowds, and the orange stickers were mysteriously removed from the matchbox cars, but guess what--the white label still said $8.50. So I think what happened is someone brought that to their attention and they just took the orange labels off to avoid anyone else asking about it. Also they had some brand new Melissa and Doug toys, but they were more expensive than the exact same items on Amazon. So not really a sale at all. The customer service was great. The ladies who rang up purchases and then helped customers pay were very nice and they had a great system to keep the crowds moving through so you didn't have a long wait at check out. I'll definitely come back next year, but I will be paying more attention to the prices to be sure they are fair. read more
