The space is large and roomy with a clear view across the store. Lots of clothing racks and very clean. The displayed furniture in the front of the store really draws your eye, and they display very nice tables, as in the ones that weigh a hundred pounds and could withstand being run over by a truck. I also like browsing glassware because they tell stories about their previous owners. Someone might collect commemorative cups over the years, making you wonder what and how they celebrated that day. People love roosters, cats, and Donald Duck. And then some enjoyed a cup of Joe Biden. Seriously, I laughed because it was so random. The cassettes, CDs, and VHS tapes took me back to long ago memories before Internet and social media took over. I didn't find anything for myself but my husband did find and purchase a brand new belt that had never been worn. $6 is a good deal for a $20 belt. Customer service is okay. I've been a Goodwill Customer for years and have always struggled with their pricing. Now....every item is scrutenized and priced for its name. Now....mid Covid, the prices have jumped even higher. Most pants are now 8-9 dollars plus. Shirts are higher at 6-7 dollars plus. God forbid it says Van Huesen....ha ha! If i didnt know any better......i'll bet the prices are including what i call the "Ahwatukee luxury tax" Gas in Ahwatukee?? Plus 10-15 Cents per gallon !! And then Goodwill wants you to donate!! Like I'm so sorry you have to put everything back but you get paid to do that. I do not. I just go home with.. 3/5 dvds missing from their sleeves. This is one of the nicer Goodwills in Phoenix. I've been here a few times since it opened and haven't ever seen a dust bunny. I'm happy that the dressing rooms don't have piles of clothes on the floor. The entire store is clean and organized. Large selection of seasonal items; I saw tons of Halloween stuff the last time I went. Plenty of staff on the registers so lines aren't long, ever. I went to find tactical gear. Like pants and tops and belts , boots and what not. I did find lots of men's shirts to try on ~ light weight, button ups. I got very strange looks while trying on these clothes openly over my own clothes. But I was able to move around, swing my arms to check range of motion, and how the shirt preformed. So yeah I expected strange stares. 1 pair of pants seem to meet the criteria. Lightweight, breatheable, long enough. Super prices, after checking online and Amazon. I found this location on my way home from work one night, so I decided to stop and check it out. I had never seen this location before so I was stoked when I found out it open up literally a week before. The store was very neat, so I had no problem navigating through each section. The store was pretty empty, I assume because it wasnt a half off day, and it was on a week day. I was so OK with that because it gave me a chance to take my time to look through the goodies without having to compete for items. I was super lucky on this trip because I found this amazing vintage blouse for $7.99!! I was pleasantly surprised that it was still there, but everyone had different taste, so it was probably just fate that I found it. I have so many big plans for that top. So happy I found this spot, it is convenient for me since it's right off the highway, and it's close toy daughters school. Nice store , however was not pleased with the manager. I was charged twice for the same item. I went back with as much proof as I had (goodwill tags and receipt) to ask for a refund of my money that they had overcharged me. The manager wasn't interested in trying to be reasonable and said that because it was longer than 7 days he wouldn't do a refund, even though I was not returning an item, I was overcharged! He also accused me of maybe trying to get something for free in spite of me bringing all the evidence I had to prove otherwise. Very disappointed with their "goodwill" customer service. read more

I have been going to this location for awhile because it is so large. I think the complaints about pricing are due to the fact that this location is located in Ahwatukee, so they figure they can ask for these kind of prices. I can literally go from seeing similar housewares in Tempe, and when I drive down here, they want several dollars more for similar items. The clothing selection is pretty nice though, as is the shoe selection. The linens department is lacking. This place also has a ton of stuff, so if you take your time, you just might walk away with a treasure! Remember to use the coupon, they take the smartphone coupon too! read more

This Goodwill is hit or miss for me. I've come away with a great haul, and I've come away empty-handed. The entire store is half off every Saturday, and this location tends to be pretty picked over if you don't get there early. I'd just about given up on this one until I went on a Thursday when the color of the day tags are $1.50. Got some good brand finds for my online resale boutique and rescued a real painting. I have consistently poor luck with women's shoes and kids' clothes here. The store is always clean, and the staff at least make an attempt to be friendly! read more
