This is a nice consignment store with good prices. You do need to take your time going through the store as there are a lot of hidden things. We found a nice end table here that actually matched our furniture but name brand and style. It was in near perfection condition at a fraction of what we had paid. Employees were very rude and inconsiderate! Not helpful at all didn't tell me the right procedure to check in and then got nasty to me when it was my turn and I didn't have my name on the bags because they told me to clip it to the hanger with the dresses! Then when I was trying to help with something in the bag that belonged together she told me she didn't need my help and to get out of the room! This is after I had waited 1hour and 15 minutes she was so rude to me I said do NOT take anything else out of the bagI am taking everything back with me! So I left with my things! There are tons or clothing and shoes! The houseware aisles are packed with lots of kitchenware, glassware, home decor and more. Lots of pictures, wall hangings, and mirrors. Nice furniture, some good leather couches and chairs. Tons of jewelry and purses! Once when I was here, I found a cool vintage horse strap with brass medallions for a great deal! And last time my friend and I had fun browsing while our hubbies tested out the chairs! She found a nice wooden tray, some bake ware, and a pretty necklace! I consigned 60 new, complete Halloween costumes one week before Halloween. The retail for these costumes was between $25-$60 each. They sold 31 costumes and gave me a check for $129.37 (valuing each costume at approx. $4.) When I came to pick the remaining costumes up, I was told that they were donated. What?! I explained to the front clerk that I did not give permission for them to be donated and told the consignment person, Cole, that I would pick them up after the holiday. After telling the front clerk that, she led me to the back where I spoke again with Cole. All of my remaining costumes were taken apart from their packaging, a lot of the packaging was ripped and damaged. None of them were in new condition anymore. They gave me back damaged merchandise with no apology or attempt to make it right. I have never felt so ripped off. read more

I think this is my favorite consignment store. I always find the most wonderful items at great prices. Their items are well taken care of and the whole store is clean and a pleasure to walk thru. I love fashion and I'm on a budget and I can always find a deal here. Their normal prices are very affordable but then they have their sales line 50% off our line right now they have a red tag $2 deal and yes I did get a Michael Kors purse for $2 and a pair of new Ariat cowboy boots also for $2. When they start their sales I take one of my days off and go to all their locations and have a retail therapy day!! Every store has amazing friendly and helpful staff. read more

I really didn't expect much as it's a consignment store but I was pleasantly surprised it was much better than I expected. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the organization of everything. They have a lot of women's clothing very well categorized and organized by sizes. They also carry a ton of shoes, purses, jewelry, furniture, and house decors. They even have children's clothing. Prices were reasonable and everything seemed to be in good or new condition. It's definitely a fun store and I'd love to return when I have more time to spend shopping. read more

They need a better way to let you know when it's your turn to consign. They yell your name from the room in the back of the store and give all sorts of attitude when you ask if they have looked at your items. They either need to page you overhead or text your phone when it's your turn in the consignment line or better yet, DROP the attitude! read more

I went to the Chandler location today from Gilbert. I walked in and said I'd like to co-sign a few items. The young girl says, do you have a an appointment? I said no. She says on Thursdays you have to have an appointment?" I said no. She said you have have appointment. I said that is not what it said on your website. No where does it say you need an appointment on the website. I said then I need to make an appointment. She says not today and we're 2 weeks booked. I said I get that and then she walked away. On your website it tells how to "consign and what to do before you consign with them. On my only day off I drive all the way from Gilbert and that's what I get. So disappointing! read more

This store takes in your clothes & furniture but only gives you 1/4 of value. Some expensive items are held back until the last month then you are given a dime on the dollar or no money at all. This happened to me several times. Now I'l be going to the Scottsdale consignments. read more

Stopped in searching for a desk. They have some cute furniture in here which I've never noticed before, including brand new. Interesting honestly because there were items with tags still on them. On March 14, 2022 I took two wall pictures and two pairs of men's shoes into this store. They were all in perfect condition. On 3/25, I called the store to see if any items sold. I was told that I had $6 available. EVERYTHING I took into the store had great value. I asked what had sold and was told one of the shoes. One pair was Mezlan and the other was Cole Haan (brand new). They sold the Mezlan for $14. We paid $285 for those shoes! I was livid!!!! I went up to the store to pick up the other pair. Yes! I was very angry and my voice was very loud! In this type of business they are supposed to know the value. They have cheap Sam Edelman's and Michael Kors in the showcase like they're a big deal but sold our shoes for $14? The Cole Haan's were bought for $185 (BRAND NEW) and they were selling for $39. On 3/26 they called and told me after speaking with the manager to come pick up my other things and that I couldn't consign there anymore. The manager should have called me. I was ripped off!! When I picked up my wall art, the frame was cracked. Now I can't sell them for a good price. They were careless with my things and didn't price according to value. Whomever bought those shoes probably felt like they hit the jackpot. When I told them I was picking up the CH shoes, I was charged $1 because I was picking them up. Are you serious? After cheating me out of money they had the nerve!!! You will see both pairs of shoes and the cracked frame in the pics below. They would have never taken them cracked but returned them to me as so. They could've called to apologize for their mistake but chose to act like I had the issue. It is apparent that this store and its associates do not know the value of good, quality things. What a treasure! I am a huge fan of consignment stores. Many are hit and miss. This is a definite hit. Their quality of clothing is very nice, large range of sizes, large range of styles. I also enjoyed walking through and observing their home goods section. If I lived in Arizona, I would be here quite often, but I was just visiting and could not take most of what I wanted to buy on a plane with me lol, I ended up with a pair of fabulous low boots that I wear all the time. read more

I got very lucky and got them on their $2 day. I scored some major items. So many that I actually had my own cart with me in that car that I actually went back and brought it in. The staff here was really nice and helpful. They actually have a good selection of mens clothing and shoes. The location seemed a little smaller then Bell and McClintock. Plenty of parking. I noticed that people seemed to just put their piles of clothes on the counter which I find very odd but I guess it's just what regulars do, but theres no way of knowing that the pile is on hold for someone. They had a small case with some designer items, but the selection was very small. They had a lot of purses on the racks, but nothing special. read more

I know you're fairly new to the East Valley, you absolutely have to try Turn Style Consignment in Chandler, not Mesa, but Chandler. I'm so glad I did! They were having there annual end of the season sale so items that were already on sale were an additional 50% off. Everything was so neat, nicely color coded, all of the sizes were in their correct sections. Nice! I went crazy in that store. I tried on soooooo many clothes, so many, sorry for my boyfriends poor arms lol.... I ended up leaving the place with the following: 2 pairs of dress slacks for work 2 pairs of jeans (Lucky Brand and Joe's Jean - my favorite) 6 shirts 1 pair of earrings $23.80 was my total. $23.80 for 10 pair of clothing items and jewelry. This is a good friend's favorite store, and I finally decided to check it out! I was looking for some outfits for returning to the office post-pandemic and was able to find two shirts for under $5 each. There wasn't as much professional attire as I was hoping for, but of course the selection must vary quite a bit considering it's a consignment shop. I would never recommend EVER consigning here. I went in the other day and the old woman in the back was a complete bitch. Treating me as if she had no respect, and didn't even want to look at the clothes I brought in. It was apparent after a while that she was just being petty and rude for no reason, during her going through my clothes she turned around and completely ignored me for about 5 min. In the five mins I packed up my clothes and left, no one should have to deal with that crap. The whole "once ur item is sold then we give u a percentage is bullshit", next time go to Buffalo, rocket a go go, or wangs because that lady ruined the experience for me completely, and I made way better money! read more

I had consigned some jewelry here two times. The lack of friendliness, helpfulness, and timeliness of service is extreme. I really don't understand why or how a business would have staff be so discourteous when the merchandise is being given to them. The percentage to the consignor is small in comparison to what they receive. Something like a 40/60 split. The percentage drops as well every 30 days plus they sell it for what they want and have sales days throughout as well. If it does not sell,within 90 days if I recall correctly, you either go back and hunt and search on your own for your unsold items as they have no idea where they are or just leave them and they have free merchandise to sell. read more

I was more impressed by Turn Style than I thought I would be. My first visit was a spontaneous one, after I completed some errands and was driving home. I saw a sign that read "Turn Style Consignment" and I was drawn to it like bees to honey, so I turned into the parking lot, parked, and walked in. Upon entering the store, my initial reaction was "Wow! This place is huge!" Turn Style offers clothing and accessories for both men and women and home furnishings. Clothing is arranged by colour and size and furniture is placed into little vignettes, e.g. living room, bedroom. I took a look at the racks of clothes and shoes (shoes are on shelves above the clothing racks) and found a pair of Banana Republic wool dress slacks and a fun, sparkly top, both still reasonably current and way below retail price. (I paid $18 for the slacks and I know they would normally retail for about $90-100.) The store was clean and the staff were all very sweet. The labels ranged from Banana Republic, Ann Taylor to Forever 21. I didn't notice a lot of high-end designer labels, but for the mid-range labels, this place would be a good place to explore. My mom and I love the merchandise this store carries but always joke about whether or not it's worth it to weather the store personnel who frankly all act like you, as the paying customer mind you, just pissed in their cheerios. And we've been in multiple times and it's not an "off day" or one-off thing, it's a recurring theme. I have some great stuff from this shop but sadly a bad taste when I think of returning. It's kooky to think how well they'd do if they actually hired warmer, friendlier staff. And I can see we are not alone in thinking that based on other reviews. Wow, hey Turn Style has now moved in Chandler. It moved down on Ray Road. It is now located inside the shopping Center where BevMo is. Great store. really big now. Even bigger than it was before. All the sections are set up like cool little displays. Living rooms all put together, offices for the home and Bedrooms. They were having a huge blowout sale when I went yesterday. All green tags $2.00 and then 10% off of everything else! You cannot bet a sale like this. Anyway, Turn Style is a great place to bring things that are in great condition and try to consign, or to come and find some cool stuff that is new or barley used for yourself as well. SELLERS BEWARE. First, they have a 'schtick' where they tell you to shop as their consignment area is busy. Yeah. So, I did. But, everything's in such a disarray. I went back and these two completely moronic girls were rude, didn't have a cart so I could bring my heavy dishes in, etc. BUT, one of the girls told the other "I like these Nike's, should I take them?" And the other said "yeah, why not?" Now, someone just brought those in, so I hope they paid for them, though they do set the price. Right? Also, how could such morons know the value of anything? We were glad we didn't bring anything nice in. And, I just left everything (they claimed my brand new, never used items had a stain when they saw I wanted $ and not to rebuy in the crappy store). Rude rude people. I read the reviews from this Turn style as well as the one in Mesa. The one in Mesa really has some terrible reviews of how rude and unfriendly their staff is. I opted for the one in Chandler since people talked more kindly of this place. Well my guess is that the Mesa staff may have moved to Chandler. The woman taking in the consignment could not have been more rude. After carrying things from the front parking lot through the store (there was no sign in the front to drive to the back for consignment) to the back the woman just looked at me and very snarky said, "we only go through 35 items". My husband and loaded the car back up and left. If you are so busy that you can't even make eye contact and be courteous to your customers, I will take my business elsewhere. Not sure who the consignment women are these days but I'd say they need a lesson in fashion. They turned down brand new, name brand items I brought in because they didn't recognize or accept the brand. What?? They've got JCPenny brands hanging on their racks and won't accept my stuff? I think they need to do more research on brands. I won't be consigning nor shopping here anymore. It seems it has become very dated and appealing to an older crowd now, in my opinion. I'd say you're better off going to Buffalo Exchange if you're consigning more recent, hip, name brands. read more

COLE in the back who says she is one of the managers was so freaking rude to my boyfriend and I that HE was The one who noticed and said something to her and I've never ever seen him do that before !!!! She was so short with him and acted so god damn bothered he was even standing there trying to talk to her n ask questions how it works when consigning that I had to walk out. I couldn't watch how she treated HIM and I waited in the car. When I walked back in my boy friend was confronting her on HOW she was treating him and I was so proud of him for sticking up for himself !!!! I was a good regular customer who had also consigned here. When my son was getting out of the Army and needed civilian clothes I went to Turnstyle. I asked if I could return if they did not fit. The clerk said just to not take the tags off. As you can imagine, we have been really busy. Today I took 1 shirt back. I had the receipt snd had not removed the tag. I was told that I had missed the return date, and they would not let me return the shirt even for store credit. Very bad business if they are willing to loss a regular customer over a shirt that cost less then $10. The clerk also made me wait for 5 minutes while she took a phone call.
