My 11-year-old daughter was so excited to try thrifting and she scored big with Abercrombie pants, a Y2K baseball tee (the kind that has contrasting sleeves), and a character tee she loved, all for just $6 total. I used to thrift back in high school too- it's great for the environment, easy on the wallet, good for charity, and always adds one-of-a-kind pieces that make a wardrobe or a gift special. It was fun to see it come full circle with my daughter's first thrift haul. NOTES/TIPS: **Restrooms available **Easy self-checkout, plenty of parking, and even paper shopping bags at checkout to carry your treasures.

I was just browsing initially, but I ended up buying a cute mug and some Japanese tea cups. There were definitely some gem finds at the store if you look. The self-checkout kiosks at 2nd Ave are easy to use also (no errors and the scanners read the QR price stickers quickly without issue). Today I drove over to donate some housewares after doing a New Year's cleaning. The process was easy. You'll see the green-drop doorway to the left of the thrift store's main entrance. You can drive up and unload your donations into the bins. A staff member helped me out. She brought over one of the rolling bins and then gave me a 20% off coupon for making my donation today. Good experience and would come back again!

Many parents today are overworked and unable to check in on their children, mirroring my own childhood experience. This growing disconnect poses a significant risk to our future generation. However, I firmly believe that change begins with action. At KFS&C, we cultivate an environment where individuals can embrace their identities, develop essential life skills, and support one another. By empowering at-risk youth and women, I aim to guide them toward a brighter future filled with strength, resilience, and purpose To address these challenges, I founded Kairos Faith Sisterhood and Champions (KFS&C). This initiative was born out of my mission to create a safe haven for individuals marginalized by their circumstances. At KFS&C, we provide mentorship, resources, and support to help at-risk youth and women rediscover their worth and potential. Our team is carefully selected for their ability to connect with today’s youth and foster a nurturing, empowering environment. Through our work, we strive to break the cycle of trauma and offer hope to those who need it most.

I bought a pair of earrings worth about 2.4k through TRR's New Jersey consignment store, and the shipment was handled by UPS. When the package arrived in my country, it was flagged by Customs due to an incorrect declared value. Instead of 200+ tax, I am being charged 2+k, because the value of the earrings was declared at 24k instead of 2.4k I have contacted TRR multiple times over two weeks, often during US business hours, which unfortunately fall in the middle of the night where I live. Despite this effort, the responses were extremely unhelpful. I was repeatedly told to "go back to UPS," even though UPS did not provide the declared value and cannot amend it without the shipper's instruction. TRR promised to correct the declaration, but no correction was actually made. This left me stuck going back and forth between TRR and UPS, with neither taking responsibility for resolving an error that I did not cause. UPS could not clarify who exactly provided the incorrect customs declaration beyond "TRR", and told me to go back to TRR. Customs also informed me that I cannot pay the duties first and claim later. The declaration error must be corrected by TRR, as they arranged the shipment and provided the declared value. As a customer, this has been frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing, especially from a company that deals in luxury goods and international shipments, where accurate customs documentation should be standard practice. This was supposed to be a Christmas present.
