Store Manger. Shady card, shady guy. Don't buy from here!

Worst experience buying furniture in my life. The workers themselves were willing to work with you but the manager Eddie is the rudest. The store claims to match prices and give you a better deal but when you actually show them better prices from other places, they keep insisting there has to be some sort of catch whether it is taxes or delivery dates. Absolutely any excuse not to work with you. If you actually manage to stomach the process of purchasing from this crook, the delivery will be even worse. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERY CORNER OF YOUR FURNITURE before those guys leave your house. If your furniture opens up, open it up. The assembly guys left a bunch of screws and two of the bottom leg supports inside of the couch we bought. Parts of the couch wobbled. It wasn't until we tried tightening and re-assembling, that we realized they used the wrong screws for certain areas so we basically had to assemble it ourselves. If you have any issues, don't even bother trying to call the manager. He will say it is your fault for not checking properly and will do absolutely nothing to help you. Buy from anywhere but this store.

I love this place, I have found so many great deals. The only thing is it's become pricy. If the can give better price at the end it's second hand thrift.

Sex toy probably used next to perfumes. Manager says privately owned. Called the cops when I asked for his name

Meh. Quality of the merch isn't great, prices are high (above 2nd Avenue in Union by quite a bit), and self checkout SUCKS!

I talked a little bit with her, and from what she said, the store is not for people who wear petite or small. It's for women who wear medium or large clothing. The fashion is for older women rather than younger women. The aesthetics of the clothing match bigger, flowery patterns like a table cloth. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a teen or young adult, but it is for older women who wear mediums or larges. That being said, I would recommend 2nd Ave Thrift store in Union (very cheap and fashionable) or Anthem off North Union Avenue (for fashion and in-style clothing) for those younger and smaller women looking to go thrifting.

I went out of my way to Cranford to check out this store (in celebration of National Thrift Day-- today). I passsed by around 4:30-ish pm and there was a notice on the door saying the shopkeeper would be back at 5. The notice said: "Stepped out to Laundromat and Post Office. Return 5 pm." It doesn't make sense to me to go do laundry during business hours? Shouldn't errands like that be done during the lunch hour if anything? But it didn't bother me at first I just walked around and came back at 5. And waited. And waited. I waited 1 hour for the shopkeeper to come back (until 6pm) and still no sign of the person coming back. After a while it was kind of hot to wait outside and I felt really weird standing outside for so long so I stepped into a café and watched from the seat. By the time it was 6, I couldn't even check out the vintage shops in other neighboring towns I was hoping to. All in all a disappointing day. It was just kind of unprofessional and disrespectful of customers' time and energy. In total I came, spent 90 minutes, energy, gas, parking money, etc etc just to come see this one store and waited outside the store for a significant amount of time kind of looking like an idiot...not a great impression. I was really patient waiting an hour and a half and I just don't want other customers to go through that. To be clear stuff happens and so I don't take it personally but it was just unfortunate. If I'm in the area again I'd still love to still swing by and try giving it another go.

My 11-year-old daughter was so excited to try thrifting and she scored big with Abercrombie pants, a Y2K baseball tee (the kind that has contrasting sleeves), and a character tee she loved, all for just $6 total. I used to thrift back in high school too- it's great for the environment, easy on the wallet, good for charity, and always adds one-of-a-kind pieces that make a wardrobe or a gift special. It was fun to see it come full circle with my daughter's first thrift haul. I was just browsing initially, but I ended up buying a cute mug and some Japanese tea cups. There were definitely some gem finds at the store if you look. The self-checkout kiosks at 2nd Ave are easy to use also (no errors and the scanners read the QR price stickers quickly without issue). Today I drove over to donate some housewares after doing a New Year's cleaning. The process was easy. You'll see the green-drop doorway to the left of the thrift store's main entrance. You can drive up and unload your donations into the bins. A staff member helped me out. She brought over one of the rolling bins and then gave me a 20% off coupon for making my donation today. Good experience and would come back again!

I came here before my vacation looking for a casual pocketbook I could take on the airplane. I thought the shop was adorable and even took some pictures for Yelp. The shop is located in an old house, which adds to the charm but limits those with mobility issues As the only way in are steep stairs. There is a nice selection of pocket books, clothing and accessories. The young lady who works there was very friendly and helpful. I purchased a pocketbook for my vacation and fell in love with another pocketbook but decided against buying it for the price. Ah, girls and their pocketbooks because I couldn't stop thinking of it! I came back the same day, before closing and ended up buying the second pocketbook for work. I put the pocketbook in my closet and left for vacation with the casual pocketbook. Well this morning before heading back to work, I decided to take it out and opened it to put my wallet in and saw it was damaged..ugh! Mind you, I should have inspected the purse further before buying it. But I was so happy with the first purchase that I didn't think to inspect the interior. Seeing the price, I am annoyed that I wasn't told about this. Look at the picture! I loved the store, but would be more cautious about purchasing a pocketbook here. Lesson learned, I will definitely inspect it carefully next time.
