And often, there's no way to test something until you get it home. What other retail chain doesn't let you return something that's broken when you buy it? Three times now, I've bought Nerf guns for my grandson ($9.49 each) that didn't work. Each time, they couldn't be tried out in the store because they didn't have foam bullets and/or batteries. When I voiced my frustration to the cashier manager, she said all I could do was donate the malfunctioning Nerf gun to get the discount coupon to buy another. REALLY? I'm going to knowingly donate a broken toy? Maybe that's how I ended up buying 3 lemons in a row. Savers sells DONATED items-why couldn't they let buyers exchange something that doesn't work?

After today it will be our last time. We've basically been turned away from the trade-in counter the last few times we've been in due to the volume of trades they had at the time. In my opinion, it's completely asinine to tell a customer they can wait until 7PM (when trying to drop off trade-ins in the morning) if they want to trade. We even asked if our items could be left overnight so I could return to the store on my lunch break the next day. No such option. Thankfully we usually consolidate trips into town, so today wasn't a completely wasted trip, but to drive 30 miles into town without being able to accomplish this simple task, multiple times, is quite frustrating.
