When reviewing a thrift store, especially a juggernaut like Goodwill, one must consider not only the usual stuff like employee friendliness, store cleanliness, etc, but the merchandise assortment. Since Goodwill's generally sell the crap that gets donated to them (in their particular geographical area). So on the macro level, goodwills in better parts of town will generally have higher quality goods. This little Goodwills is right off of Boulder Highway and horizon, in the Black Mountain area of Henderson. No, it's not Summerlin nor is it Green Valley Anthem, but it's a fairly well to do neighborhood. Because of this, I have personally found a much stronger selection of quality second hand goods here versus the extremely busy and bustling one on Stephanie. The staff is always pleasant, smiling; and efficient. The goods are generally merchandised carefully, and the donation area is always clean and organized. All in all, a near perfect thrift experience.

I think the management here at the Boulder Highway goodwill forgets that it is a Goodwill I cannot believe the prices in this place it's disgusting seriously somebody from the corporate office needs to come down here and look at the way they price items they also need to understand that this is a Goodwill I wouldn't buy one of these anyway Just because I found them online for cheaper at other places and they were new but I can't imagine $75 less than brand new ones at the Halloween store and that these managers are getting away with this it's a shame shame on you Goodwill there's nothing good will do about the prices in your stores especially this one what a disappointment

My son works across the parking lot from this location so I frequent it very often. I always seem to find something I like or need and always have a great experience with their staff. Even the customers are friendly at times and I find myself in random conversations. Todays experience was a bit different and I felt that I should leave a review reflecting what I saw. As I was in line to check out, a woman and her child were already at a register and became very irate about a policy the cashier was trying to explain to her. This customer was not having it. She started to yell and belittle the cashier which everyone in line thought was rude and uncalled for. Another customer at the next register tried to tell the irate woman to calm down, but also became a target. I must say, this cashier held her composure and handled the situation very professionally. The irate woman kept at it even after her transaction was complete, she even started to yell at the other woman for looking at her... at this point we were all looking at her! I was next in line and this cashier called me up next, she was obviously shaken up, but checked me out and apologized for witnessing that. I told her sorry she had to go through that. These types of issues should never escalate to this point, but knowing there are people who can keep their calm and continue without missing a beat will keep me coming back. I'm giving 5 stars for my experience today and every day I've been here over the past couple of years. Keep up the great work!

"The Giving Store" appeared on my search. When I read the description of this wonderful organization, I could not have been more pleased to let go and donate here. The staff members are kind, caring and enthusiastic about the good they are doing. Donation drop-off was a breeze.

They had mini gift bags with a lovely picture of their friend and it was very touching gesture. They explained that the entire store was 50% off. I was like, "oh shoot... I better get a cart ." I spent around an hour looking around and found some awesome stuff. I didn't spend much time on the clothes as it was very busy and congested with people so I opted to shop around the perimeter for more home decor items. I'll definitely be back to check out the store more thoroughly. However I found a great picture frame... I'll be putting my own artwork in it but it was in great condition and large scale. I also got a timeless task lamp. Such great finds for $8 total!! What an awesome deal. This place is so cool. Will continue to recommend

SUPER CUTE & COOL WAY TO THRIFT!…read more I stumbled upon Indy Clover in the shopping plaza off of Stephanie and Sunset in Henderson. Wasn't too sure what it was all about. I spent a good amount of time just walking aisles looking at the different sections. Lots of really funky, cool, different, eccentric, and rare finds in here --everything from clothing to shoes, hats, purses, souvenirs, you name it. Adorable, pink and white wall paper themed dressing rooms lined the first aisle with a cheek sofa couch. Everything was self serve. The objective: Find a few things. Try them on if you wish and when you're ready, bring them up to the front counter to tally up your bill. Some very affordable, vintage items and new items here and what was really throwing me off is that there were named sections by people's names. The store was really chill, great music playing, full of customers and I finally had a chance to talk to one of the team members. They answered my pondering question that of what that was all about. So, basically you can donate your clothes to this store in a consignment fashion, each section is a different owner this is why sizing will be according to what the owner has available. Once something is sold the original owner is contacted with their commission and the store profits the rest that is my understanding of it. I am told that there are different days for sales like Thursdays and Fridays to definitely come back and check out the racks weekly as they change by the rack owners. Things move pretty quickly in here so if you see something you like you better grab it. Definitely want to seek out other locations and check back in with this location again soon. It was very neat and a fun and friendly way to shop. :)
