I am in the process of downsizing from a 1,700 square foot home to a 1,300 square foot apartment, so I have to get rid of a lot of stuff! I have been here a couple of times with HUGE donations and they have been nothing but thankful. And I am not done yet! lol I really hate to see things go to waste, and I would rather donate things than trash them. The workers are always so welcoming when I come with another carload. They always ask me if I want a receipt and I do not. I just want to help those in need with things that I bought out of greed or luxury. And Earnest has been very exceptional every visit. I praise his passion for his job and the cause. Great employee you have there. I highly recommend donating to Goodwill. I've donated to Savers and Salvation Army before, and they are great as well, but if you have a Goodwill near you, consider them as well. They are really grateful for your donations. read more

Hey Yelp friends! I love to thrift! I was out and in the mood so I stopped by and the size of these stores are fun in itself. There are many sections and it's all laid out and stocked. I always look for books, and clothes. Sometimes I find something I don't know I needed. lol They always have a color tag of the week and it is 50% off. Monday is the dollar day. Wednesday is the senior day 30% off all tags except red, I think. Double check. They have good deals on furniture, too. They usually have changing rooms, bathrooms, and friendly cashiers. You can't take carts out of the store, but they do have people to offer to help you to your car. In Nevada Goodwill is still a really good deal and fun place to donate to and shop from. I like to do my part to recycle, repurpose and reuse. Check them out! read more

Absolutely terrible service here, accidentally donated an item important to my family and needed to retrieve it. The lady I talked to had asked if i had donated in which I said my parent had. Her response was "They will have to come in and fill out an accidental donation form" and was practically laughing in my face at this point. I had gone out to call my parents which they asked if I could fill it out myself. I went back in and politely asked and she replied with, "no you can't. The person who donated it has to fill it out" I calmly asked why she explained, "We have to check the cameras to make sure it was them donating it" which is absolutely bullshit. first being an already donated item being retrieved is not a stolen item, I would offered to pay for it. Second is the very condescending and upsetting manner in which this woman addressed me. I was clearly upset about the situation and instead of being respectful and understanding she rushed her response to get on with her next task. This was a poor interaction, I for one do not blame the company on addressing protocol that comes with getting items back but a little respect might be helpful with people who have lost items that mean a lot to them. The woman had light brown curly hair and was white. Thanks a lot for your help you really made my day so much worse. read more

i Love this store and the friendly staff. It's always fun to stop by and treasure hunt for all kinds of wonky stuff. Sometimes there's nothing and then other times, well...I walk out with half the stuff they put out. So yeah, I recommend this location to anyone. I was told it was Brenda, the manager of this Goodwill location that showed such a nasty, poor personal self control, and poor leadership. To have received such treatment, of eye rolling, waving her hands at me as to "dismiss me" from her presence, and sucking in her teeth is actually an aggressive presentation of her towards me as an individual, and community member, just doing my part in patroning and donating to this location, and even to this business. To show such a loss of self control, just because I did not pull up my vehicle at the invisible line she insisted on pointing at, and when the other worker said I fine where I was, shows the need for absolute control is a must for that manager, and not being able to control EVERYONE, even community members donating, makes her unhinged. This is unacceptable behavior. I also, like many of the negative comments pertaining to the same individual will no longer donate here, and will take my spending elsewhere. When reviewing a thrift store, especially a juggernaut like Goodwill, one must consider not only the usual stuff like employee friendliness, store cleanliness, etc, but the merchandise assortment. Since Goodwill's generally sell the crap that gets donated to them (in their particular geographical area). So on the macro level, goodwills in better parts of town will generally have higher quality goods. This little Goodwills is right off of Boulder Highway and horizon, in the Black Mountain area of Henderson. No, it's not Summerlin nor is it Green Valley Anthem, but it's a fairly well to do neighborhood. Because of this, I have personally found a much stronger selection of quality second hand goods here versus the extremely busy and bustling one on Stephanie. The staff is always pleasant, smiling; and efficient. The goods are generally merchandised carefully, and the donation area is always clean and organized. All in all, a near perfect thrift experience. read more

I like this location, but the last two times I was in there they have hired an older white male. He comes off as an attention seeker from women. He followed me around the store the first time i saw him. The second time he was colluding with some woman and filling up her cart with valuable items and claiming that those are for him. It seemed as if she were there to buy the items that he had hand picked for himself from the back. I was seriously annoyed by him and by what they were doing. That guy working there makes me not want to go there and this is a decent location. read more

The donation Dragon Lady manager is awful! I had one car in front of me while I was unloading. She made me pull up and had me put the items back in the truck, to unload under her shade cover. Never again. Her attitude is awful! Never again. Salvation Army took all my items. People were friendly and they have a drug rehab program! What does Goodwill do??? read more

Worst location ever! They only have one person working in the donation drive-through. The line is long, two other cars behind me and the person who is at the front still has not moved. They offer half off red tag sale but its misleading because they double the price on it just to make it look like your getting a deal - Average cost for most clothing is $6.99. And the red tags say $12.99 and there's nothing different about quality or brand from the $6.99 priced clothing . I was pretty disappointed. read more

This is the best selection of women's clothing we have found at any goodwill-- Las Vegas or Henderson. They have a $1 Monday and we marked our calendar. There was no try-on room so I just had to pull shorts over my shorts. Next time I'll wear a skirt. read more

This review is for the donation area only. It's a drive thru donation center. Follow the signs and path and it takes you to the back of the store. You stop and a worker ask if you're here to donate. Open the car, trunk or wherever you have the donated items and they will take it from the car for you. First time ever for me. I usually always have to lug these heavy bags or boxes of stuff in. Ask for the receipt and you're on your way. Friendly staff, even in 100degree weather. read more

My son works across the parking lot from this location so I frequent it very often. I always seem to find something I like or need and always have a great experience with their staff. Even the customers are friendly at times and I find myself in random conversations. Todays experience was a bit different and I felt that I should leave a review reflecting what I saw. As I was in line to check out, a woman and her child were already at a register and became very irate about a policy the cashier was trying to explain to her. This customer was not having it. She started to yell and belittle the cashier which everyone in line thought was rude and uncalled for. Another customer at the next register tried to tell the irate woman to calm down, but also became a target. I must say, this cashier held her composure and handled the situation very professionally. The irate woman kept at it even after her transaction was complete, she even started to yell at the other woman for looking at her... at this point we were all looking at her! I was next in line and this cashier called me up next, she was obviously shaken up, but checked me out and apologized for witnessing that. I told her sorry she had to go through that. These types of issues should never escalate to this point, but knowing there are people who can keep their calm and continue without missing a beat will keep me coming back. I'm giving 5 stars for my experience today and every day I've been here over the past couple of years. Keep up the great work! read more

This Goodwill location is fairly new to the area. I've been to many other Goodwill locations throughout the Vegas valley and sometimes it's "hit & miss" on what kind of service you get and how clean the store looks inside. This location is very clean and the customer service is very good! The clothes and other miscellaneous items ranging from ironing boards and kids toys were all in good shape. Goodwill takes good pride in what they do. I like that fact that they hire vets and people that may challenges finding a job, it could be real tough! I got a few items here and when I checked out the checker was super nice and cool! You could feel her good vibe as she smiled and made sure I found everything I needed in the store that day. I'll definitely be back to this store whether it be to shop some or donate. read more

I usually find some awesome stuff when i come considering everyone cleaned out their closets during this shut down. Today just happened to be a perfect to find exactly what I was looking for!!! I found a dress that I needed and it was literally just hanging there by it self as if it called out to me and said, "this ones for you" I needed a purple brides maids dress for my friends wedding and it happened to be a David's bridal dress I. This is the best Goodwill in the valley. My husband and I have been to most thrift stores, and this is by far our favorite. The staff is extremely hard-working and friendly, and the store always has a large selection of items. We donate items and see them on the floor immediately. Pricing is consistent with other Goodwill stores but cheaper for many items. I really can't say enough good things about this store. The employees all deserve raises. read more

Really disappointing after such a great start when they reopened. They're taking counts of people at the door but I don't see where they're cutting off anyone going in. Ok I donate here ALL THE TIME !!!! good stuff and every time I come there they act like am trying to rob them!!!! There is tags that have been changed and when I get to the counter they have to have a whole meeting about the stuff and act like am the one who changed it! And then then up the price so not far!!! And anytime something is missing a tag you get to the counter and they up charge not far!!!! So much fun at the Goodwill store today. Thought it was going to be just another day until they announced everything in the store was 50% off. They had 4 checkers so things moved fairly well. Found a lot of awesome deals. Had to jet into the restroom and it wasn't bad at all. Nice atmosphere to shop in and was even entertained by multiple costumers singing to the music playing over the intercom. I'd recommend this place. read more

Honestly, I used to shop only at this goodwill. But all the prices have skyrocketed. And if you are looking for woman's clothes or woman's plus size clothes, forget it. This location is clean and very organized every time I've stopped by when in the area. Never have I seen it crowded or messy. I find they generally have a decent amount of clothing for the size of the store but the prices can be unrealistic at times. Purses and shoes are very short supply but kitchen and housewares pretty good. Not a place I ever come for books because they're in short supply. The jewelry is all in a case and if one person is already looking, it's a real hassle to get help or even have room to look. Overall if I could I'd give a 3.5 star review because I enjoy looking through books and artwork most of all and they do not have a lot of either. Also T-shirts are one of my favorites and they don't even have enough to bother with. read more

so i went to the restroom while shopping here, and some lady came inside and stared at me through the door and started screaming at me to get out because i had been in there "all day" it had only been 5 minutes. and she was cussing me out. trust me using a public bathroom, a goodwill bathroom no less, is the last thing i want to do. but i have a DISEASE that makes it so i have to sometimes. it was the last store i went to and i was trying to avoid Using the bathroom until I got home like I normally do, but like I said, sometimes I just can't. i even tried telling her through the door that i have a digestive disease but i hadn't even been in there that long. but she still screamed at me though the door at told me to shut the f*ck up at go to the bathroom at f*cking home. i had to call the store from inside of the bathroom to get it to stop. but when I came out of the bathroom, the lady wanted to deny she said anything even though one of the cashiers heard what she was saying to me and saw her walk away from the bathroom. the manager did absolutely nothing to the lady even though SHE SAW WHAT SHE WAS DOING but she told *me* that she couldn't have me talking like that in the store and making a scene. When she just allowed that lady to scream at me in the bathroom. all the manager did is tell the lady if she ever did it again on A DIFFERENT OCCASION then she would be removed from the store. are you kidding me? do you really think she's gonna come back and do it again? She did not get kicked out, she was not even denied service but *I*was asked to leave because I was making a scene. the manager literally followed me out of the store and went back in to serve that woman. why was i asked to leave but the lady who started the harassment wasn't? how come i'm not allowed to retaliate but they wouldn't even say anything to her? bs. i'm never coming back here. read more
