Okay, this is petty on my part. Catharsis R Us. Anyway, dropping off donations I pulled in line behind another vehicle to wait my turn. I'd waited a couple minutes, no attendant appearing. At some point thereafter a (surly-looking, unsmiling) lady (?) pulls up outside the queue and pops her hatch lid. As if by magic an attendant materialized and ambled over to help her. WTH? At this point let's cut to the Seinfeld episode where the car rental clerk is incompetent and doesn't hold Jerry's reservation. See, the point of a line is assisting everyone in order. Bottom Line: no good deed goes unpunished. Okay, that is making mountains of molehills. Better bottom line (s): Attention attendants, please help customers in proper order. Horrific customer service. I came to return an item purchased 4 days ago--within the return window. I provided original receipt, original tags were in tact and even showed them my bank account with the transaction. The manager refused my return saying it looked like I had tampered with the tags. She called me a fraud in front of a line full of people. I am honestly still in shock and HORRIFIED at the behavior of this store. I have always shopped at Goodwill, but I have never been treated so badly by a customer service agent in my life. This supervisor should be fired immediately. read more

Manger has the worst customer service! I just went to return an item (within the return window, had the original receipt and tags in tact) and the manager took pictures of my receipt and items and said I had to return them to the original store of purchase because "the tags looked like they had tried to be taken off). I called corporate to see if their return policy had changed and they assured me it had not and that this manager needs to be better trained. This my neighborhood Goodwill and I shop there a lot but me her attitude and making me feel like I had done something wrong makes me not want to shop there anymore. read more

Cruel working environment for the employees who are working and moving around. The AC is obviously not working. Everyone in there was HOT. I asked a few of the employees if they are working on fixing it, and two of them said it's been like this for a week. You need to keep fanning yourself to be comfortable and these workers cannot do that because they are putting merchandise out. I was in the area getting coffee and one of my favorite local spots and saw this new Goodwill had finally opened up. Of course I had to go check out what they had to offer. The parking lot is large and surrounded by a lot of other new places getting ready to open. The store is good size, clean and what you typically find at Goodwill. Of course I head right to the holiday decor every time. This location had quite a bit, but some shelves I didn't dare touch because things were so piled together I was a freaks I'd break something. I found quite a few cute things. I even found a few paid of Christmas Pajamas that looked brand new for my kids. Service was great and while standing in line another worker came over to help me and opened up another register. She was friendly and efficient. If you love holiday decor but hate the prices Goodwill is the place to go. read more

HORRIBLE!!! The things are overpriced as hell. The employees are rude and mean. The purses and handbags are FAKE! This location is the worst I've ever seen and I visit a lot of stores. The clothes are put in the wrong sections and they are all ripped up. The racks are full of badly hanged clothes it's just very upsetting. I, with all my heart do NOT RECOMMEND! Even if it's a good brand like tory burch, it shouldn't be priced as a new item. Over all horrible and disappointing. read more

The pricing is getting ridiculous. Goodwill used to be for low income and now it's become a resale store. You get everything for free but you still mark things up to 70% of the original price. I saw a Nike sweater for $30, that's how much Nike sweaters usually are. I also saw a wild fable croptop from target that is usually $5 and they were selling it for $5.99, what the heck? Everything should be a set price no matter the brand. Goodwill has gotten so greedy and can't keep their priorities straight, I suggest going to thrift stores that actually care about their customers. read more

Clean, well organized and helpful staff at the Goodwill located on Jackrabbit/Indian School. I like to comment on the reviewer who was upset that they didn't take their used mattress, first off Goodwill as far as I know does not have the facilities to clean and disinfect used mattress not to mention the possible health issues with used mattress, bug beds, urine etc., It always amazes me that some people believe that the Goodwill Stores are places to drop off your trash or act as recycling centers, they are not. I have always found the people who accept your donations at the Jackrabbit store to be very helpful, nice and professional. read more

The manager at the location off of Indian school is incompetent. I had previously called to check if they'd take mattress donations and the store confirmed it, however when we got there it was a different story. She claims they can't take any at the moment so we ask her to call another location to check if they'd accept it and she went off and came back to tell us yes they would be able to. Well when we get to that location they tell us they can't take the mattress either so at that point we speak with that manager and explain. Thankfully he ended up taking it. Overall the lack of communication was very apparent and the manager at the Indian school/litchfield park location needs to step it up with not only her team but what she is communicating to the people trying to use their services. I hope she sees this. read more
