( a tall lady with red / orange hair ) She was asking the cashier where the other cashier was and she told her he went to the restroom she answered her very loudly , that she doesn't pay him to go to the restroom she pays him to work ! Wow !! I was so shocked how unprofessional this lady is ! And the pricing here is ridiculous! I mean we do shop second hand to save money?? I have been to this location since it opened, was so excited to know we'd have one in our area. This location is the worst Goodwill I've ever been to, and it didnt used to be like that. Items are very pricey for their quality and what they are. Similar items at other Goodwills arent that overpriced, or that bad of quality. The attitudes of the employees are also bad. They used to be very friendly now their very snooty and rude. Not pleasant at all. Also fairly hard to tell who's an employee as well. No real identification on them. Store is also dirty and very unorganized. Items are all over the floor to the point to where they are getting damaged from it. Bathroom is usually a nightmare with toilet paper nowhere to be found. This store used to be so good, now it's never a pleasant experience. Looks like the Goodyear Goodwill will be getting my business from now on. read more

I tried to return these jeans to my local Goodwill. But was refused a refund because the manager said there was tampering with the tag! I didn't touch the tag, I simply bought them home tried them on and came back the next day to return them. My frustration with the whole situation is that Goodwill still isn't allowing people to try on clothes, YES their fitting rooms still aren't opened even though every other stores are. ZERO is what this store deserves in the way it treats customers - the stores managers and employee attitudes have fluctuated over the years since opening. Some a great and some are not so great. This past two years it has been ZERO. Evidently if you buy at any goodwill you better pray the store marks with that little marker correctly, if at all (some stores do not mark) . .. because if they do it wrong you have to return to that exact store. (not on their return policy) For me I made mistake of buying in a store too far away and our store would not honor return that time... that meant that the manager has now targeted me. Corporate is of no use - they can't make managers enforce the return policies that are posted on store windows and receipt and website. GOOD BYE GOODWILL IF YOU BUY AT ANY GOODWILL and get home and see the damages = you may not be able to return it. Fortunately Estrella goodwill ( 15 more miles away) took the returns. I have eaten many returns because of no time to return INCLUDING one bike exercise machine that cost us 40 bucks and just redonated when I had time - easy money for them make money 2x or 3x on same item. That is probably the goal of not taking a return. Why return on a gift card when you can simply wait for person to redonate and make money on it again? NOW I WILL NOT EVEN DONATE TO THE STORE - I HAVE BOX OR TWO THAT I REFUSED TO DONATE AFTER THIS INCIDENT. HELLO LANDFILL - closer, cheaper and easier to take to the dump. GOOD BYE GOODWILL - I have to have confidence in stores I purchase from - EVERY OTHER store on earth manages to take returns without calling customers tampering thieves. We are dealers so we go to the thrift shops frequently. Our last visit 8-7-2020 was the first day of the discount half price color... we arrived 5 minutes after opening.. 4 employees diligently removing all the sale color items.. carts were overflowing with merchandise.. classic bait and switch... also the regular priced items are grossly overpriced.. I do this for a living and have done for 38 years .. I know the value of most items and the cost they expect to realize is ridiculous for a donated free item... not doing anyone any good.. other Goodwills are much more reasonable and friendly read more

This was my goodwill of choice until today. As always sale Saturday's at crazy, which calls for long lines. We were next in line when the female manager Mariam on duty at 3:56 pm on 3/21/2019 told us that the cashier was leaving and we had to go to the back of line, she was really snarky about it too. This store OVERPRICES everything!! I mean $89 for a FAKE coach purse is a bit much. I saw a fake Gucci purse as well, marked $99. They even zip tied them to the racks up front. Lol. If it anything has a tag they mark it up a few dollars away from the suggested retail price. They need to realize these items are donated!! It's quite comical and ridiculous IMO. Even dollar store items are $1.99. I was also there one day when a customers personal purse got stolen and the security cameras weren't even on. This location needs a lot of work, starting from the managers. They're rude and unprofessional. One time I purchased a very large item and paid for it up front & they said they'd hold it in the back until I could pick it up within 2 days. The next day they SOLD my item to someone else. I came to pick it up and they said they accidentally sold it. How? If it was in the back? I've been coming here the day it opened but I will now be a regular at the Goodyear location. read more

. My kids love to go to Goodwill to purchase toys from the bins that are advertised as 10 for 1.49. They play with them for a week and we usually just donate them back once they are done. It's a inexpensive way of entertainment for them instead of buying a bigger toy. Now I've been shopping at goodwill for years now and I was always told that if it's in the bin and it does not have a specific price tag then it's part of the sale. I go to different Goodwills across the valley. Never had I had any issues until today. My kids picked out the toys and we went to pay. Cashier was super friendly to the people in front of us saying hello, discussing movies, once it's our turn, she's stone cold, doesn't greet us not a smile no eye contact. Fine it's not like that's never happened before. Once she sees the bags she states these toys will be a dollar each they aren't part of the bins. She said bigger toys aren't part of it, which I get obviously , but the toys we had were the same size as practically all of the toys in the bin. The biggest toy we had was a Small shopping cart for like a Barbie about the size of my palm. I let her know that none of the toys were labeled with individual tags and were all in the bins she then goes to proceed to tell me that kids rip open other bags and put them there. I understand that but again all of our toys were small. While we were picking out the toys I made it a point to tell my kids to not pick out big toys that were out of place. She then ripped a bag of toys in front of my kids and myself and said "you see this is what kids do" insinuating that my kids had done the same. I let her know that i didn't want any of the toys if that was the case, and that the store should put up a sign that the toys are different prices regardless of size because she wanted to charge a dollar for a macdonalds size toy. I know im arguing over 1.50 but it's the principal of the matter. Doesn't matter whether you spend 50 cents or 100 dollars customer service should be the same for anyone .I don't let my kids run around making a mess they stay with me in the cart. right off the bat she had a bad attitude with us as soon as we put our things on the counter. Please don't waste your time here. It's messy , cluttered and employees have bad attitudes. If I could give it no stars I would. I won't be spending any more money here. read more
