    More broken and dirty floor

Everything expensive as hell jeans for 40$ used, the employees are usually friendly but would rather not talk to anyone and are usually incredibly unhelpful. The place is dirty and honestly looks abandoned. Never has good stuff and if they do it's broken. Found a lava lamp here and when I picked it up the bottle part came out and squirted into my eyes. Upon further inspection a found a whole lemon inside the lava lamp floating around with mold. Don't go here very un satisfied!

I shop here every time we come to Bend. I always find nice items and I find the store to be cleaned and organized. The staff isn't overly enthusiastic or happy- but they aren't rude and they are pleasant enough. The prices are way too high- but so are all the Goodwills in Oregon. I saw $50 Banana Republic, $60 Michael Kors and $20 for Kohl's (Croft&Barrel) on my last visit. (See photos). Feedback to manager: you obviously have many kind folks in Bend that donate to your cause. Too much- your racks are very hard to browse as they are stuffed full with kind donations. Side (long) note: Really wish the Goodwills were like The Southern states and had set prices. (All items within their respective category have the same price tag ; $6 jeans and coats $4 shirts $5 shoes- you get the point). This makes is so much more enjoyable for us thrifters who enjoy the thrill of finding an awesome deal on something amazing. Set pricing is easier for staff and would remove the need for the dreaded black sharpie marking the price on the inside of every item of clothing (I can't even imagine how much longer it takes staff to price each item differently and then mark the price inside the clothing. - yikes!) Anyways- a girl can dream.

I was disheartened by Helen B's review and wanted to lend my voice. I absolutely love our Goodwill. My Husband and I have lived in Central Oregon our entire lives (But have spent time in Santa Barbara, Hawaii and Seattle) and since opening, this Goodwill has consistently provided quality pricing, customer service and cleanliness. Sure; some things are going to be spendier than expected from time to time. But that's EVERY STORE in EVERY city around the nation. However, the majority of the time, prices are absolutely what one would expect from Goodwill. As far as the Customer Service? Excellent! For as busy as they get, I think they do an AWESOME job. In fact, I would also say that compared to most Goodwill stores, ours is one of the most organized and friendly. I don't find the employees "uncomfortably elder, infirm, debilitated or uninterested in their jobs". Instead I find them to be kind, hard working, decent, working Joe's like the rest of us. In fact, I think a review with name calling speaks greater volumes of the PERSON WRITING THE REVIEW than of the true experience. Shame on you. May you soften your heart and express an educated opinion when it can be used for solution based IMPROVEMENTS. Versus just ignorance and complaining to complain with no real ideas on how to improve things. And Im sorry but "security following you around with an earpiece??" That's just ... ridiculous. And (gasp!!) you say he looks like a SNOWBOARDER? (cringe!!) Heaven forbid! It's not like we're in Bend where 95% of the population are outdoor enthusiasts and snow aficionados. And remember, "Be nice, you're in Bend." Keep up the good work Goodwill! You can't please everybody all the time and we tend to hear more bad than good. Which is unfortunate. So I'm here to lend the other voice. We locals appreciate you and are grateful for all you do and provide to our community from thrifty bargain hunting to tax write offs and reused materials to providing local jobs and job placement throughout Central Oregon. T H A N K Y O U ! ! Pictured below is our home, recently redecorated at the Bend Goodwill. * 2 leather Lazy Boy Recliners (one that is electric) $50 & $70 (regularly $250-$500) * 1 large rug in nearly brand new condition $99 (regularly $200-$300) * Size 40 black Dansko knock off brand shoes $8 (regularly $40-$90) And we couldn't be happier!

Seemed like a typical Goodwill with lots of goodies and decent prices. We found a number of things here and would come back again.

Lots of variety in this goodwill, I pretty much found what I was looking for. I spent a little more than I was expecting to.

Tried to give this place a fair shake...however fair comes at a high price. Cheaper to buy new at Wal-Mart.

Clothes, furniture, paintings, a suprisingly large selection of rugs, and a bunch of hardwares. I even saw a guy buy a vintage fire extinguisher (non-functional of course). It feels like a real thrift store with cheap prices, not a picked-over rack or expensive used goods. They were very helpful when we dropped off our end of year donations. The process was easy, friendly, and straightforward. They took everything we brought with no restrictions or runaround, which made the whole experience feel better. I got the receipt for my taxes and the whole thing took around 5 mins. I've also heard they even have a truck that drives around to collect larger furniture donations, which says a lot about how committed they are to making donating accessible. Between the selection inside and how easy they make giving things a second life, Super Thrift feels like a staple thrift store in Bend.

I ended up being charged too much, but I didn't really figure it out until I got to my car. I went back in with the items I purchased and the receipt (which thank goodness I thought to ask for, otherwise she wouldn't have offered it). I was met with skepticism and was actually accused of not bringing back all the items. Which was completely untrue. "Well... there are cameras", she said. Wow. I have never been treated like this as a customer. I guess she was trying to put her mistake back on me... with complete, unjustified disrespect. Anyway, another employee stepped in and "fixed" her problem by handwriting a credit on the back of my receipt. A credit. Even though it was their mistake. Very unprofessional, but I was told, "we do this all the time". In general, at this particular store, things just seem to be unorganized, chaotic, and a little shady. I love thrifting and have found some great things at this store, but the environment and sketchy conduct just isn't worth saving a few bucks.

We have businesses where we second hand as much as possible with regular turnover (we do not sell the products, we use them). In the past we spent so much at this store that one time the person ringing us up commented about it. They saw something in the system (connected to our phone number) about our total spent YTD and their eyes got wide, so we explained what we do for our business and that what they could see was just for their location. What I am saying is... we have a pulse on what is a good and fair price for these sort of things. I looked at a couch not to long ago at this location. It was half off. The price was still, with the discount, over $1600. When you pay 0% for your inventory you should not be charging consignment prices. Full stop. It is a poor business choice. The idea is to turn over the inventory because more is coming while passing on a lovely savings to your customers. Not hang on to it while it collects dust because you've out priced the new items being manufactured. Know your customer base and price accordingly. We have left empty handed from this store every single visit this year (2026) because the prices have skyrocketed. For reference, we were looking for a washer and dryer...found one brand new at Lowe's cheaper than this Restore had (used no less). That is why I am writing this review. If the free inventory you receive is higher priced than the brand new inventory from the original store...well...here's your sign. So, we will likely have to drop this store from our rotation because time is precious and we cannot waste trips when we could find a better resource to take its place. That's just how it goes, I guess, but it saddens us because we like to support good causes and keep things out of the dump.
