What an incredible brand! I saw someone wearing their sunglasses and immediately was intreat. I asked him where he got them from. He told me about Goodr: after a quick check of online and on their social media, I found out they have a physical location, not too far from me in Venice while I lived in Santa Monica, so last Saturday, I went there in the morning, and since I came early, I was able to find free parking right now to Abbot Kinney. The store is so colorful and neat, and the customer service was excellent. I noticed that not everything on the website is available in the store. For example, the yellow Chucky sunglassess. Many limited edition sunglasses were sold out at the store while still available online. However, I still recommend coming here because it's a fun shopping experience. I like the reflective sunglasses, so I chose a pair. I will be back because I love the designs, and I have already put my eye on one of their limited-edition sunglasses- the yellow Chucky one! It looks perfect for summer. read more

Excellent customer service for a brand I love. I've been wearing a pair of Goodr for the past few months and recently noticed there were cracks in the lenses where the frame met the lens. The store immediately replaced my pair with a brand new pair without hesitation and said they'd send off my pair to the quality control folks. I love the Goodr store at Abbot Kinney. The sales associates are very nice and helpful. The space is fun and vibrant. They often host events with run clubs. I have been here a few times with Cafe Jam Run Club. The selection at Goodr is so vast. There are many colors and styles. The product is solid. I have ran in Goodr many many times. Including all my races (2 marathons). They do not bounce or slide around. I sweat a lot and I find the sunglasses very relatable. They do replace the lenses if they are scratched. The warranty is about 1 year. It was super easy. I brought my glasses and the sales associate replaced them with no fuss. I didn't have to produce a receipt. I am obsessed with all things goodr, including but not limited to the goodr Cabana located on Abbot Kinney in Venice, California. I am so fortunate to live nearby and have had the opportunity to visit the cabana on multiple occasions. Whether I visit the cabana to purchase sunglasses or to join them on a run, it's a 5 star experience from start to finish. First, the selection of sunglasses at the Cabana is great! They pretty much have everything on the goodr website but physically in the store for you to try on. There are a bunch of mirrors around the store for you to confirm how great you look wearing goodr sunglasses. I have bought the National Park sunglasses and the goodr Cabana sunglasses, released in late August to celebrate the cabana's second birthday and this particular pair is available exclusively at the cabana. If you don't already know, goodr are so affordable and such a great value. Whether you're looking for a stylish pair of sunnies, blue light glasses, or snow goggles, there's something for you. OH, and they even make prescription sunglasses now! Every pair also comes with a one year warranty in the event something happens to the lens coating or what not. Also, I can confirm: they will literally just swap out your sunglasses or replace the lenses. Easy peasy. There are a variety of events at the goodr cabana ranging from weekly runs/run residencies, bike rides, special events, even blood drives! The people that show up for each event really makes the cabana a community. I seriously love going to the cabana, it has the coolest vibe that Carl has to be proud of. They're open seven days a week, 11am-6pm, and often beyond that for events. Be sure to stop by if you're in the LA area, it's worth it!!! Carl can even tell you a fortune! read more

I've been a fan of Goodr once I found out about that at a race expo back in 2019. As a frugal person I never liked paying $50 to $100 on sunglasses that I'd probably lose or break, so they're $25 sunglasses are the perfect price range, especially with their 1 year replacement guarantee. I had a pair of the Mach 3 aviator (my favorite sunglasses) that I bought here last April, I ended up breaking them a few weeks ago, and they replaced them for free. Aside from the great prices and variety of their glasses the cabana itself is a great spot where they sometimes host LA run club meet ups on the weekend where they'll have raffles and giveaways. read more

"The Goodrest Sunglasses Shop in Venice" I know, I know, this is a bold statement given the range of sunglasses shop right on the boardwalk, but bear with me. From price to product to place, this is, dare I say, a store that takes the overall shopping experience from good to goodr. The first thing you'll notice is the store design and overall vibe, which is always fun and festive. It is one of the few places on Abbot Kinney where you can sit down in front of the store, not to mention the cabana in the back. There are always well thought out decorations throughout, especially now during Christmas. Tons of product to check out placed with a range of mirrors where you need them. On the product side it's a pair of sunglasses with case and bag for $25. Pretty solid deal. My favorite part is the range of different designs, including my favorite the UCLA themed "Something's Bruin". I've worn some pairs for over a year now and they last if you take care of them (although for the price you can also just toss them in your pocket and hope for the best). The shop owners are nice and welcoming. They are also a large part of the broader Venice community and have hosted numerous community groups. So definitely appreciate what they've done here. Overall it's a great place to grab a gift or just check out some sunglasses along with the instagrammable pieces throughout the store. Protip: the sunglasses bag inside the box can also be used to wipe down and clean your glasses. read more

In A Nutshell: -This is the only brick & mortar Goodr store that exists. -I love their sunglasses, especially the OG model. -As an avid athlete living an active-lifestyle, the quality is top-notch plus the price point of $25 is very hard to beat. -I love the materials they use: the non-slip but snug plastic, the UV 400 & polarized lenses really make these awesome sunglasses to wear daily. I was on a long run with my friend when I realized we were close to the cabana and I asked to stop to replace my pair of "9 Dollar Pour Over"s that my 2 year old most recently dismembered. As we're browsing, I tell her about my favorite pair of limited edition Goodrs that are no more and she asks which ones they were. My brain is mush after the 8 miles we'd already ran so the best I could muster was "they were like mai tai something", and over my right shoulder I hear a voice go, "Mai Tai Me Up, Daddy"? "YES! I really wish they'd bring them back!" I cry! I proceed to give him the whole drama of how I lost them in a parking lot and spent hours trying to find another pair anywhere.. eBay, running stores, random Australian retail sites... Nada. As I'm checking out, he asks if I can hang out for just a couple minutes longer and LO AND BEHOLD he reappears holding a brand new pair of my long lost glasses! I confirmed that I bought the first pair of these back in 2021, so these are some library aged, exclusive a** glasses. So, thank you, Goodr. Wow, beautiful store!! When you're walking on Abbott Kinney, it really stands out and calls your attention to go in and check it out. Great prices and a great concept about not slipping when you're doing something active like a sport. And you can bring them into your optometrist to get a prescription added. But I just wish they had a larger selection of frame shapes or staff who understood which frames complimented each face shape. Maybe I went on a day where my particular face shape wasn't something they were used to getting, but I've been to places where the staff knew right away which of their frames complimented my face shape, and that makes my purchase a no brainer. read more

This is my favorite store on Abbott Kinney by far. They have a cabana in the back but more importantly....they have sick sunglasses and something for everyone. Honestly, goodr should consider me as an affiliate: every single time I bring a friend in, they buy at least one pair of glasses lol. The folks working here are chill and they sometimes offer my dog a treat. I come back to check out the new designs and honestly they're perfect for volleyball, tennis, or running because they stay in place and don't fall off. read more

I went for a 3 1/2 hour excursion on Abbot Kinney, where I grew up in Venice, in the sprinkling rain today. I generally only go there when the weather is lousy because it's horribly crowded if the weather is nice and I rarely go between May and September although the weather is divine and people watching is at its peak. It challenges me in rain to see things differently to photograph. I saw these bright giant sunglasses staring at me from Goodr and like the call of the Sirens I was lured into this joint. In actuality I really need a pair of sunglasses although it's funny thinking about buying sunglasses in the rain. At Goodr I talked to two young guys who are into exotic cars and formula one racing. I showed them my pics of exotic cars and one of the Salesman patiently explained all about the products and showed me which ones would be best for my face. There are mirrors interspersed throughout the brightly decorated store so if you are a Vampire, be careful in front of the mirrors as your lack of reflection will give you away. I wandered around and took pictures of this flagship store very wildly designed with a great patio not in use due to the bad weather with a long really cool corridor lit up with bright Miami Beach colors throughout the store transporting me from not so sunny LaLaLand to a cheerful warm beach. I ended up buying a nice light pair of sunglasses that fit me really well. The service was friendly and informative and the sunglasses were very reasonable. The joint is fun and definitely worth checking out on this street named after the man who created his "Venice-Of-America", a cultural mecca and massive playground complete with canals, gondolas, pleasure piers, pools, piazzas and colonnades which opened in 1905. While Venice, like all communities, have changed drastically over the years, Venice still retains its artistic freedom and whimsy exemplified by this store. I think Abbot Kinney would have liked this store. read more

The new cabana is so much fun! I still remember when Goodr opened up their first cabana in Playa del Rey (which was also their office, then remodeled to be solely the shop)... to say this is an upgrade is an understatement! All sunglasses offer polarized lenses, and are either $25 or $35 depending on the frame style. My go-to are the OG. I love that I can pop in here and get immediate gratification and always see the full lineup. I've had the pleasure of attending two events at the cabana and the team are always great hosts. One was a group run and it was very inclusive and the group stopped along the way to make sure no one was left behind or got lost. A few weeks ago I was in Goodr and bought a pair of sunglasses as I was heading out of town. Once I was already at my destination I pulled them out and saw the lenses were supposed to be the blue tint, but were yellow instead. The box was marked incorrectly. I would have returned them for the lenses I intended on, but was on vacation so I used them and didn't end up returning them. Today, I popped in to see their latest styles and I was chatting with Brian about how I mistakenly got the wrong ones before but I liked them and kept them. He briefly excused himself and returned with a pair for me with the blue lenses that I originally wanted! What a kind gesture! It was so thoughtful to make me a satisfied customer and gift me! Just wow. Been buying a pair here and there. Today I went back to replace ones I like for cycling that I lost on Bolinas Ridge after crashing in the hard horseshoe pack. I also had a basic pair that I may have ruined by using incorrect cleaning methods. Milo at the front desk replaced them for me without my even asking! Great experience during all three of my visits to the shop. Easy to ride a bike to since the staff lets me bring the bike into the northern hallway. I foolishly sat on my sunglasses without realizing. Snapped. Heartbreak. been there before with expensive sunglasses (that's the reason I started looking for a cheaper but high quality alternative...) I reached out to Goodr and to my surprise found an entirely automated return system, where I didn't even have to post back the broken pair, I was simply sent a new pair in the mail and they arrived a few days later. This place is a spectacle. The product, of course, is a lovely inexpensive option for eyewear that leaves you with plenty of choices to add a pop to your outfit, but the brick and mortar STORE is a sight to behold. There's not a lick of 'dull' anywhere to be found here. From the front porch to the hidden back patio (where they hold shindigs and powwows) there is vibrancy and color lining every inch of the store. Greens and pinks and neon lights make it aesthetically the most unique and attractive place on Abbot Kinney. Not to mention there is a 10 foot long pair of sunglasses on the roof of the place that you cannot miss. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the right amount of attentive (nobody pestering you over and over but always looking available for any questions or concerns).
