This is another of the great restaurants in the growing Milwaukee style "foody" scene. Their menu is a great mix. The waitstaff and bar staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The prices are reasonable. Go here eat and have an experience. read more

I recently had a chance to try Goodkind for brunch and was very impressed. We had a group of eight and I was expecting this to take FOREVER. I'm happy to say that the timing of everything was perfect. I started with a drink at the bar. I believe what I had was called "Off to the races." I saw bourbon and went for it. What I failed to notice was the raw egg. Since the tattooed bartender had already begun, I sucked it up. The drink was very "egg noggy"; great for winter, but not something that should be served in July. Anyway, for Brunch I ordered the rotissorie pork belly and the bacon risotto. OMG, that pork belly was awesome! It was about a eight inch long piece of very crisp pork. I really prefer porkbelly this way. When it's not cooked enough, it tends to be a bit gelateneous. The risotto was perfect, nice and cheesy with just the right amount of bacon. I could have done without the egg on it, but that's just me. Back to the service, our server was very professional, very knowledgable, and very attentive. She did however miss one thing for the whole table, but in the end it didn't matter. We had plenty to go around. Two of our diners had the poutine which made a great sharing plate. It was hard for me to believe that this used to be the old DiMarini's. I can't believe they managed to get the pizza stink out of this place. The decor is very "cute" and the bathrooms are great. I can see why this place in on everyone's short list. I can't wait to try Goodkind for diner. read more

Goodkind - A foot a bacon! - New American Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

I went to Goodkind once, and most likely won't return. Caveat emptor - I don't eat meat, which I know is their forte. But with everyone making so much noise about Goodkind, I, too, wanted my socks knocked off. The alcohol selection is impressive - but almost ridiculously expensive. And the cocktails are so tiny. Not that I'm looking to get hammered, but it was a cute little cocktail. I'd have been fine drinking it and moving on to water, but once I emptied my water glass, the server did not return, and I was left drinkless. I had scallops, and my husband had the spicy crab pasta. He ordered it without the pepperoni, but it came with pepperoni anyways. The server did not offer to make up for the mistake, because he did not come back to the table once while we ate. The food was fine - not awesome, not bad. I left hungry. The entree was small, and costly enough to discourage me from ordering something else. The service seemed good at first, but declined steadily throughout the evening. Our waiter was wearing a sweatshirt. Not that I expect him to wear a suit, but he seemed kind of sloppy. Overall, I feel like Goodkind wants their trendy character to carry the restaurant, and that's really not good enough. The lack of attention to detail will make me head elsewhere. read more

The place: the inside was packed at 7pm on a Saturday night, so we only caught a glimpse of the inside- we saw the artists/bartenders hard at work. We sat outside, thankful for the lovely evening, and listened eagerly as our waiter described the cocktails with enthusiasm. Service was pretty good, especially for how crowded it was. We were seated outside right away, but I'm not sure if people arriving after us were so lucky. The taste: I demanded we started with the fried chickpeas. It was a full cauldron that I ate most of. I really liked the crunchy texture, and didn't mind the paprika/miscellaneous red spices on my fingers. We also each got a cocktail - the mandrake for me - fruity but not so overpoweringly sweet, and the "as good as it gets" or something like that for my husband- like an Arnold Palmer but with black cherries. Also very good. He had the spicy crab and octopus chorizo bucatini which he said was really filling. I had the copper river salmon. I thought the salmon tasted fine but was a little under seasoned. Maybe i shouldn't have expected to be wow-ed, but I was expecting it, and the salmon was fine, but not melt-in-your-mouth amazing. The sides- the golden beets, the dandelion marmalade, the pickled carrots- those I was wowed by. And the Canales for dessert- my only complaint is that they were so small. I didn't want to share that dish, but it was a unique texture that I appreciated. My face: a daydreamer's grin as I plan what to taste next time....$65 for dinner for two - 2 cocktails, an app, a dessert, and 2 entrees. Reasonable for the atmosphere, quality, and artistic prowess of the staff. read more

This place is a nice breath of fresh air in Milwaukee! Great food and fair prices. The larger entrees, meats, are thick and delicious. Seasoned deliciously, those that are used to normal restaurant food will have to add salt but I found it very refreshing to take a but and not have it be full of sodium. They only opened recently, but everything went smoothly and it was delicious. Outside of my price point for regular visits, but good for a special event like a birthday or anniversary. I got the scallops for $15 and only got two (delicious) scallops so I had to order the duck soup to fill me up. read more

You know, it just isn't for me. I see the appeal, I really do, but with so many other amazing options out there, I'm not sure I would return again. The first time I came here was with a party of eight, which I had made reservations to accommodate a week prior. When we showed up, our table was not ready, and they split us between two booths. We wanted to sit as a group, and were moved to a larger table once one opened up. The food was fine this time. We got the fried chickpeas which were good. The fromage fort was a dish of cheese, fine. The calamari was good, but they fried lemons and others with it so that the calamari itself was lacking. I ordered the half chicken which was actually juicy and flavorful. 2-3 stars for that visit. This time we were able to make a reservation for 2 at 6:30 the night of. We walked in a couple apologetic minutes late, and were greeted with a preset table and friendly waitstaff. We picked out a couple craft cocktails and went to work on the menu. The cocktails were good, and our server was phenomenal. We engaged in witty banter and she was helpful to suggest food that was allergy friendly. We started with the shaved brussels sprout "salad" which had apples, pecans, blue cheese crumbles and a garlic dressing. The dressing was smeared fancy under the 'shavings' for lack of a better term, and I almost wished it would have been tossed with it. Uncooked sprouts have a pungent flavor and while the dressing muted it, there could have been more. Still a refreshing dish. Next we had the rabbit loin. She described these next two dishes as full entrees, but we split all the plates. I'm glad, as there wasn't one I would have enjoyed fully. The rabbit was served with salted turnips, turnip greens and something else, but the greens and veggies were extremely bitter. I would take a bit of rabbit and greens and veggies all in one bite, but then found the overwhelming bitterness would overtake the tender meat. The rabbit also was VERY pink in the middle, bordering on underdone. I found myself giving up most of my 'sides' to my partner as I found them to be ruining the dish. After the rabbit we indulged in the tri-tip steak. This was served with italian greens, peppers, mushrooms and a celery root puree. I am allergic to mushrooms, and they offered happily to replace the fungus with squash, which is richly in season. They took acorn squash and sliced it super thin, then blanched it. This preparation for the squash was great! It left the 'meat' a little al dente and delicious. The Tri Tip was served rare, when we had agreed on medium, but I let it be. The middle pieces looked completely uncooked, but again my partner liked that more than I did, so I stuck to the edge pieces. The celery root puree was delicious, and this dish was well composed. I would have liked it more had it been cooked properly. Lastly, we tied the meal up with dessert. They were serving an apple tart with housemade rosemary ice cream. Again, not my favorite. The ice cream was delicate and refreshing, but the tart was heavy and thick. All in all it was enjoyable. Our service was spectacular, but the food left me wanting more - especially for the price. read more

First, I have to highlight that Branden was our server and he was absolutely outstanding. He was friendly, made great recommendations, and incredibly attentive. I went with a friend and we shared the oysters, scallops, and the black lentil and walnut fritters. Everything was delicious and each plate had a slight, inventive twist to it. For example, the oysters had small cubes of a sweet horseradish gelee on top of them. This was surprising as it wasn't biting like you would expect of horseradish. It was the perfect compliment to the earthy, sea flavor typical of oysters. The style is small plates. I found that you received an appropriate amount for two people between two small plates and one large. I tried the Szechuan ginger beer, recommended by another Yelp review, in a Moscow mule. Really delicious, not in a traditional copper mug, but I was surprised it didn't make an appearance on the drink menu (or some beverage containing the ginger beer). No matter; I found it to be a great option in either case. Inventive in a charming atmosphere with enough substance to be satisfying. I highly recommend it and look forward to going back. read more

Went to Goodkind for first time tonight. The food was very good; however I felt that I was someone Goodkind had to serve vs. wished to serve as a single person walk-in. Service was a bit rushed. An appetizer and small plate had just been set down and before I had eaten one bite, the bartender/server asked if I wanted to order anything else. When I had finished my cocktail, I wasn't asked if I wanted sonething else. Lastly, after two women to my left had left, I was asked if I'd "mine" if I'd move down two spots to the right to seat a 4 top. While the person was polite and asked, did I really have a choice? If I have refused, I would be the jerk. Got to wonder if Goodkind would have asked the two women to move down. So feeling like I was being pushed around, I abruptly settled up and left. Objectively, I would say the food is great. If you are a single person walk-in, be prepared that you may be bounced around. read more

Great place for small plates and cocktails! I've been here a few times (all on the weekends) and this place is hopping! They don't take reservations and they are ALWAYS packed. The space has around 10 tables on the inside and a bar that can seat around 20. I tend to go late around 8 to 9 to eat and every time there is around a 30 minute wait or more. Get there early or get there late (serve food until 1AM on the weekends). Talk to the bartenders or your waiter(ress) to get some recommendations as they change up the menu on a daily basis (some but not all of the dishes). Each time I go its with one other person and we tend to get around 4 small plates to split and then dessert. It seems like each thing we get is better than the last. The cocktail menu is great - expect high-quality craft cocktails. Oh yeah, the beer list isn't skimped on either! The beer list is extensive yet also has some interesting twists with some special brews made just for them topped with bitters or have some other type of twist. The atmosphere here is just great too. During summer you can sit outside to eat yet they do close that down around 10PM and have to come inside. Sitting at the bar is always nice and the tables are very intimate and close together. Great date spot, good place to catch up with a friend or two, yet I would keep the groups away from here. read more

I loved my visit here! Food was superb. Great beer list and fantastic cocktails. Probably one of my favorite things on drink list, though, is the option to buy the kitchen a round of beer. (If you've ever worked in a restaurant you know how hard the kitchen works for very little money, get them some damn beer, it's the least you can do.) We sat at the bar for probably a full three-four minutes without being greeted. The people next to us gave us their menus, which was nice. Overall, the service was a tad slow...but they just opened, I imagine it will take a little bit for everyone to get their "groove." Only other complaint was that our entrees came out a little cool on the inside. Buuuut, they were so damn delicious it didn't even matter. I will definitely be back here, and I would suggest you get here soon. PLUS they serve food until 1am. Win. read more

Went here last week with a friend of mine and I'm definitely a fan and also already excited to go back. Since it's newer and gaining popularity quickly I recommend getting a reservation. I went on a Wednesday with a table of two and it was jam packed. Luckily I was able to find a seat at the bar. Drinks: They have an awesome selection of beer on tap most of which I haven't even heard of which is awesome because I like to try new stuff and broaden my horizons. Try the Gangster Frog IPA (great name, great beer). They also have an extensive list of creative and somewhat seasonal craft cocktails (also a huge fan of these, don't leave without trying one.....or three) Food we shared: Pork Pate: I had never had anything like this but as I said I love trying new things. It was different but I don't know if it is something I would order again but if you're into that kind of thing its a great starter plate. Calamari: I love love love calamari and I always like to try it at any place where I think there's a good chance of it being amazing. It wasn't the best i've ever had but it was definitely good and came with a decent portion for a small plate. Salmon: You can never go wrong with salmon. This was a tasty and quality piece of fish however it was a little under cooked for my liking but I won't knock them for that because that's just personal preference Potato Risotto: I wasn't sure what was going to come out when we ordered this. It's literally potato risotto. Not risotto with potatoes in it. However, it's amazingly delicious. This was the favorite plate of the night. Order it. Great dining experience, friendly staff and a cool environment inside. I will definitely be coming back soon to try one of the rotisseries. read more

Actually very disappointed. The food is 1 star. I didn't expect this. Ordered: Spicy crab pasta, literally tastes like plain spaghetti sauce, topped with a small portion of crab Crab was good Sea scallops Bland no flavor, lots of beans at the bottom Lavender lamb, served medium rare, but no where cooked to medium rare Big cut of meat but again no flavor and rubbery! Side of warm German potato salad is just red potato with green onion, needs at least salt/pepper to taste Side Garlic polenta, ok but would not order again. Champagne oyster mushrooms, interesting, lots of breading searched for the mushroom Very cute spot but not impressed at all with the food. read more

Overview: Great Food. Great Cocktails. Loud. My wife and I went to Goodkind on a Tuesday for my birthday. A couple of friends had noted that their burger special was something to check out. Mussels: Best broth I have had in Milwaukee. Arguably the best mussels I have had. Calamari: Batter-fried. Great texture and cooked to perfection. Burger: Great beef-brisket style burger. Burger plus a pint of Hopslam for $15. Damn good deal. Note: burger special rotates every Tuesday. Drinks: Wood Dog (think Raspberry Old Fashioned) & my wife had the Light as a Feather (who said it was her favorite drink she has had). Atmosphere: Great interior decor, however, extremely loud. That was the biggest downfall. If you do not mind sitting close next to strangers or can handle the loud atmosphere, then you will have no problem with this place. I will go here again for the food and drinks, but not as a romantic night out. read more

I'm a big, big, big fan of brunch here. We'd been for dinner once and while the food was good, I wasn't sold on it being worth the total bill. I was skeptical about trying it again when there are just so many other places I've yet to eat in town, but when Daniela suggested brunch, it seemed like the perfect way to start my birthday week. I was beyond impressed and excited by my brunch food. The pork belly piece must have been a foot long and perfectly cooked to have some char and crisp without being overdone. It was paired with a buttermilk maple cake that brought some awesome sweetness and acid to the pork belly. They worked so well together and I'll be thinking about that plate for a long time to come. I also had an breakfast risotto that was caramelized onions and cheese, I believe and came with a soft egg in the center. It was creamy and rich and I'd never thought of risotto for breakfast, but this convinced me. I'm pretty sure my two plates together were $20 and I'm not sure anywhere in the city can provide a similar brunch taste for that price. It was that good. There's a great beer selection here and some awesome craft cocktails, but $8 for a standard mimosa was a bit steep. So maybe I need to give dinner another chance. Because this was by far the best brunch I've had in this town. read more

Great decor...awesome lamps. But the food was definitely sub par. The "bites" were tasty, I'm a sucker for popcorn. But my entree was cold, and rather than preparing a new one, they heated up what I had and brought it back. I know this because the bite I had taken was still there. So basically I paid to eat leftovers. It was insulting. Apart from being cold and then dry after reheating, my "braised" goat was basically a boring chili. They market themselves as having kitschy and unique plates, but truly they have no idea what they're doing and I doubt anyone in that kitchen has any reputable experience. Their menu has "buy a round for the kitchen" HAHA. Classy. I will never go back to this restaurant. They're gonna tank in 6 months. read more

Just remembered the name of this place, from visiting there last August (oops !! :P) We were trying to get into another bar/restaurant, that was full...and really noisy. We asked the Doorman where he would go for late night food options. (I believe it was already after midnight.) He recommended Goodkind, and WOW...what a great suggestion. Dimly lit, quaint place. Awesome "chill" vibe for a date, or the last stop of the night. The cocktails were incredible. I was I could remember the bartender's name, because she was fantastic !! Friendly, very helpful, just what you'd hope to get, sitting at the bar. We mixed some Small Plates with one larger one. Everything was delicious !! Many unique options, that you don't tend to see on menus very much. You could not go wrong here. So if you need a "wind down" place to get a great drink and maybe some fun food to share...remember the name "Goodkind" !! Well done guys :) read more

I had a really great experience here. The atmosphere is very relaxing; from the moment I walked in, I was able to begin unwinding from my long day. The menu looks simple, but it is far from it. Each meal is carefully planned and put together in a thoughtful manner. My drink of choice tonight was a white wine to pair nicely with my Alaskan Halibut, but I was very intrigued by the cocktail menu. The drink options were just as well thought out as the food options and there was not one thing on the menu that I did not want to try. If you are naturally indecisive and are still on the fence about whether or not to go, let me make the decision for you: GO TO GOODKIND! You can thank me later. read more

Had heard a lot of great things about Goodkind, so decided to check it out, must say I was a little underwhelmed with most things we ordered. We had a larger group so tried an array of different dishes. The highlight was the Brussel Sprout Salad, the seaweed chips and the fried chickpeas. I was very disappointed with the two lamb dishes we had and both lacked flavor and were overcooked and chewy. That being said the staff was extremely friendly, but we had called a week before to make reservation for our party of 6 for 7pm we were told the earliest tabble would be at 7:30. When we got to the restraunt there we 3 other other tables being served all under 4 people, don't know why we had to wait till 7:30. read more

I finally made it here too! We were going to Lazy Susan at first but they were closed on a Monday. Goodkind has amazing hours and has always been on my want list. They are even open very late. It was around 5 and the dinner service had just started. The waitress we had was really awesome. I have to go look at the receipt for her name. The prices are comparable to Honey Pie. Kinda on the more expensive end. They are meant to be shared so be sure to come with friends to keep the cost down. They have small plates as well as entrees. We opted for the liver pate ($6) that came with crostinis and the fried oyster Champaign mushrooms.$12 Both were delicious! To drink I had the house brewed ginger beer. ($6.00) It was really strong at first but grew on me the more I drank. I shared the carbonara ($16) with my little one and my hubby opted for the scallops ($21). They could have used an extra minute but were also very good. All in all Goodkind is very good but bring your wallets. read more

You guys. I've never been so impressed with a restaurant on the first try. My first experience at Goodkind was in the middle of a sheeting rainstorm. I was with a friend and we decided to go to the first restaurant where we could find close parking. We ran into Goodkind half soaked to find that it was absolutely packed. The hostess was more than accommodating and we were seated a reasonable amount of time later. I was also on a specific eating plan at the time and our server knew every ingredient in each item on the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have any allergies as the server was quickly able to locate several options that could be tweaked to my requirements. The first time I had the rotisserie chicken with roasted potatoes.YUM. It was a massive portion (easily could be sharing between two people) and so freakin tasty. I went back last night with some friends and we started with the beer/food pairing. This is an awesome way to try new things that you normally wouldn't order a whole portion of (sweetbreads!). My group then moved on to the cauliflower app & the calamari. Both super yum! Finally, my entree was horseradish risotto with bacon, brussel sprouts & grapes. I would have never in a million years thought to put grapes on a risotto but it worked so well! This is what I look for when going out to try new places. Interesting & delicious twists on favorites. read more

Great addition to Milwaukee. I appreciate the attention to detail that is evident in everything from the food to the decor to the design of the menu itself. Found a new favorite restaurant! Loved everything from the very eclectic atmosphere to the fresh flowers surrounding the restaurant. The mandrake was the perfect drink to transport you to paradise with the fresh orchid and delicately refreshing flavor. The wedge salad was fresh and delicious. The scallops were perfectly flavored and cooked. Then we ended the meal with chocolate ice cream and cookies. This was my man friend's choice for his birthday dinner. Within 24 hours, he was begging to come back. He loved it more than me. I was underwhelmed (still giving it a 4 though!). I have heard SO MUCH hype about Goodkind and was a little let down. We ordered two small plates and one large plate to split. Our server was very helpful at explaining portion sizes, which would have otherwise been slightly confusing. We left full, but not too full. First dish we had was a sweet potato empanada. It was good, nothing too special, and a VERY small portion for the price. Next up was the calamari. It was delicious, perfectly cooked, and paired with a great dipping sauce. That being said, it wasn't mind blowing. Lastly was the large plate of lamb ragu. The lamb was the highlight of the meal--I have never had lamb that good before. There was a decent balance between pasta and meat, which I appreciated (as opposed to a carb load). The noodles were handmade and wonderful. Upon receiving the plate, I thought it looked pretty small but I was almost unable to finish my portion. All in all, it was good but it won't be my first choice for a nice dinner date. read more

For what it is worth to you, this business is LOUD inside. It makes eating an enjoyable meal quite difficult. I do like the food, and would suggest getting the calamari. I was quite fond of the deep fried lemon slices, and the super tender calamari. Drinks are always stupendous... recently had a Whiskey drink with something like a 1796 or other number in it. It was soooooo smooth that it seemed like had no booze in it. Marvelous flavors. Top notch beer selection always here too. Because it is always painful on the ears, I docked it 1 star. I would have said 4 otherwise. Add some sound damping to kill the noise!!!! I shouldn't have to yell to my companions. read more

Have been here many times, normally have good service and good drinks. Last night on our anniversary or waitress took 20 min just to get to our table, no apologies. Took forever to refill drinks...and take our order.. never asked how our food was... I understand what the service industry is going through right now, but witnessing every other table around us. Atmosphere and service gets five stars. They did a fantastic job redecorating this place. It feels very homey and warm inside. I had multiple servers and all of them were helpful and nice. The food gets three to four stars. I had the sausage dish--I can't remember what it officially is called. It was tasty but was definitely on the light side for the price. My friend had the crab pasta dish and it was way too small and underwhelming for the price. We had cider and it was $2 more per glass than everywhere else I've drunk it. Please lower your prices! read more

Came here to try out their brunch which they introduced earlier this year. We tried three dishes the smoked pork belly with a buttermilk cake, pork cheek doughnut and the bacon risotto. The smoked pork belly was so soft you really don't need to put that much effort in cutting it and it paired nicely with the slightly sweet buttermilk cake. This was probably my favorite out everything we ordered. The pork cheek doughnut was a little disappointing to me. I guess I was expecting more filling but otherwise an ok dish. The risotto was delicious, came with a perfectly poached egg and was beautifully cooked. Other items on the menu that caught my eye as well were the Dungeness crab bread pudding and the beef tartare! Definitely wish they had a sweet option though. read more

Goodkind has become such a staple for me and my husband; I have to raise my review. We always get delicious drinks, food, and desserts here. The service is always outstanding (we usually sit at the bar) and it really does not fail. The icing on the cake was my first brunch experience--- it blew me out of the water!! A brunch for sharing plates made for a beautiful Sunday. We loved the mushroom dumpling plate- it was well balanced-- savory, sweet, and fresh. I would totally order it again. We also got the seared polenta dish. It had delicious, thinly sliced ham. The cheddar bacon risotto was (of course) amazing, but after the first two dishes, it was hard to compare. Loved our drinks, food, and really appreciate the quality food and service good kind offers. read more

I must admit, the second time at Goodkind changed my mind about the place. We went there for the burger night on Tuesday and I loved it. We did the seaweed chips, which were great. I had the burger which was perfect. Great bun, great flavors on top. The waiter recommended the roasted vegetables and I'm glad he did because they were phenomenal. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp boil. I didn't have much of it but it looked good. The lady shrimps had shrimp eggs on them, which wasn't a bad thing, I just had never seen that before. Good drink selection, good service. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the prices. Two beers, 1 drink, 1 shrimp boil, 1 burger + veg, 1 dessert = almost a hundred bones. Holy smokes. read more

Milwaukee, Wisconsin Technically I believe this may be Bay View, WI. Great atmosphere/service/drinks. I ate here in late Sept 2014. I believe they've only been open for a couple of months, nonetheless a cool little place with a great 'vibe'. I had the seaweed app and the goat cheese app, the monk fish and a panna cotta dessert. The monk was great, the others were good. I hear the menu changes pretty frequently. I gave 4 stars based on the overall experience. I ate at the bar and was thus served by several folks. Without exception all were excellent. The drinks were very good as well. I believe I had something called 'cant think of the name of it'. That was the actual name of the drink. Really great. I was disappointed in the seaweed and goat cheese but both were good. I just expected them to be great. read more

I've eaten at Goodkind twice. The first visit was really nice while the second visit was just so-so. During my first visit, my friend and I sat at the beautiful center bar and ordered two drinks I can't remember the name of, along with two lobster bisques. The bisque was delicious, light and flavorful with decent-sized chunks of lobster. For my entree, I had the currywurst. From what I recall, this dish was reasonably priced at $13 and very filling. Good flavors throughout as well. Currywurst had just the right amount of spice and was nicely complemented by the side of fried potatoes. At my most recent visit last Friday night, my husband and I ordered drinks and a fried calamari appetizer. The appetizer was huge and consisted of not just fried calamari rings but also fried onion peels and slices of lemon. Deep fried lemons seemed weird at first but ended up being super refreshing and tasty. For a main, I ordered the carbonara. This may seem absurd but it was almost a little too gourmet/foodie for my taste. I wasn't necessarily expecting a calorie-bomb, chain restaurant rendering of carbonara but I was hoping for at least some cheese and cream. The dish was cooked nicely, and you could tell someone put a lot of heart into it, but it lacked the basic elements of carbonara that most people seek when ordering this dish, except for maybe the pepper and pancetta. My husband ordered the scallops. They were perfectly cooked and looked beautiful. But they were just scallops over some lentils in the end. I really want to love Goodkind since it's so close to home, so I'll probably give it another go or two or three. I hope in the future they churn out some more inventive things with price points and tastes to match expectations. read more

We all tried something different with this unique menu, and all were absolutely amazing. I had the poutine, and the gravy, with egg and cheese curds was all so good together. By far, the best dish was the polenta madame, the seared polenta made for a super yummy and different base to the ham and egg and money sauce. The French toast sticks were nice and fancy with a sweet hazelnut brittle. The cheddar risotto was absolutely amazing, nice and creamy and cheesy with a hint of bacon chunks. read more
