I used Goodfellas twice and their food is delicious, fresh and they use quality ingredients. My guests loved the food. I didn't worry about anything. Thanks, goodfellas. The 2 star review below is bogus. The guy is contradicting himself. He has never used them, but his invoice had charges??? read more

Placed an order and they never showed up. Had 20 hungry people staring at me and had to come up with plan B last minute. Not reliable.

This is why I am giving a two even if I did not use them. 1. The add on a gratuity to your invoice. I was not informed of this when I spoke with them. 2. They charge a 5% of your order total as a processing fee when you pay your deposit on line. They should make you aware of these items before you place your order. read more

We hired GoodFellas Taco Catering to do our recent wedding in La Quinta California. Working with Scott, Veronica, and their crew of employees regarding the details of our special day was simple and easy. Their professionalism, organization, and punctuality was outstanding and everything they provided was superb! Our guests raved about the three tacos they had at our wedding: Al pastor, chicken, and carne asada along with rice and beans and accoutrements. They also came through at last minute when we had our original caterer drop out and they provided excellent catering along with all the appetizers which included: ceviche in cucumber cups, shrimp cocktail, tropical fruit bruschetta, and prosciutto wrapped asparagus. We would highly recommend their services and will look into them again when we have a party in the future! Thank you! read more

We hired them this weekend and i will try to add a photo. The beef, chicken and pork tacos were a huge hit and my guests raved about them. I tried the shrimp and veggie and loved them. We also had bruschetta, rice and beans, cheese stuffed peppers, and this delicious ceviche in cucumber cups that was fresh and refreshing. They set up quickly and put out the handmade chips and salsa and guac, then made the tacos and served them to to the guests. They quietly took down their grill and tables while the party continued on. I can't rave enough about them, based on taste, skill, ease of set up and breaking down and clean up, and service. It all arrived in one big van, so no need for a huge truck or that much space for one. I found the staff easy to work with to plan my food and event and can't recommend them enough. I live in LA, so they go all over don't be fooled by where Yelp says they are based. Most of my friends wrote thank you's mentioned the excellent food and said they took a card to hire them for their events! I was very nervous and very grateful they came through so beautifully for my party. read more

This place is amazing. My gf and I found them in la at the gorillaz festival. They even specially made her a vegan plate when there were no other options. And for free. We love you now!! read more

Worst food and service I've ever experienced in my life!! I wouldn't use these guys again if their services were free, not only was the food terrible the people serving were some of the rudest people I've ever encountered in my life. My suggestion is never use these guys!! read more

We had Goodfellas cater our large event for 200. We did chicken and carne Asada. Hands down people liked the chicken really well and felt the beef was fine. The service staff were courteous and friendly. Our only suggestion is do your homework as to what paperwork the venue requires for outside caterers. Having these issues settled before your sign the contract can save both sides. Otherwise they showed up on time meal was served on schedule. Guests seemed happy with dinner. read more

Went to a fun co-worker's birthday party and Goodfellas was there. Yum!! everything was amazing. Great carne asada, pollo asada, and the carnitas were to die for. I highly recommend them for your next party. Super excited they will be at my open house at work! read more

I've hired Goodfellas three years in a row and recommend them for any party! Scott and his team are fantastic: professional, on time, friendly and the food is great! It's easy to find affordable taco guys in San Diego. It's NOT easy to find reliable guys who run it like a legitimate business, coordinate the plates and plasticware with your party's theme and make it to pay. If you are having any sort of summer outdoor event, save yourself the stress (and financial toll) of shopping, cooking and cleaning up. Hire Goodfellas! read more

We hired Good Fellas to come cater our company lunch on Friday. They arrived ontime, and everyone was happy. We will be calling them again for future lunches! They served carne asada, lime marinated pork and chicken. Beans and rice, three different salsa's. Good! ;) See you again soon, Good Fellas! read more

Great addition to my wife's birthday party this weekend. Showed up on-time, offered a Yelp coupon discount, and had a great setup. Scott, Cindy, and Paulina were fantastic from booking to confirmation to serving. read more

I own a law firm in Orange County and we had a company party and hired Scott from GoodFella's Tacos. We hired them and were very happy with the quality ingredients as well as service time. They stayed for 3 hours and their service was exceptional. I will be using them again for our next party and strongly recommend that you do the same. Top-notch food and service. read more

They did a great job at my wife's birthday party. Food was great and the staff very friendly. Food so good she booked them for her Orthodontist's office Grand re opening. All good to say. read more

I am an Admissions Counselor at a medical university in Los Angeles and we used this company for catering for our Orientation even. Not only were they professional and polite, but our students, faculty and staff all raved about how amazing the food was and how great the service was as well! I will truly be using them for some of our upcoming events and highly encourage anyone interested in their services to request them for your next shindig as well! Excellent job you guys!!!! read more

Best Tacos and salsas I have ever had! I love Scott and his taco stands! I have pulled over and stopped to get his tacos many times and I am definitely craving them right now. Clean and fantastic! read more

Alright guys, goodfellas is the bomb.com!! I had an event at my job and they catered for about 40-50 of my staff! We had two guys serving the food and let me just say I am all about customer service and they nailed it! I made small talk here and there and they were awesome while talking to me and said I could have anything I wanted! So let me get straight to the point with the food! The food was soooooo yummy!! We ordered grilled tilapia, chicken and carne asada with rice and beans, oh and to top it off they had mini appetizers (quesadillas & grilled stuff peppers) everything was just amazing I would definitely have them cater again and again!! Thank you good fellas!! read more

We had GoodFellas Cater our wedding they were good, showed up on time and presented their food as they said they would. Their good was really good everyone loved it they even did Quesadillas for the kids!!! We have had a few people from our wedding ask for their information so that they could hire them for their next party! read more

I can not THANK Scott and his team enough for the wonderful job they did at our daughters wedding in November 2018 I should have written this long ago and I do apologize sincerely. The food was complimented all evening and to this day our guests say how much they enjoyed the quality of the tacos and Supreme Nacho Bar. Which was even better than we had expected. Our guests LOVED it! My daughter also LOVES Carne Asada tacos and that was her request for her outdoor wedding reception. GoodFellas did an amazing job, they were on time, set up with their white serving platters and black table cloths; as I had requested a more formal appearance. The presentation was completely appropriate for our family's special day! The team was so professional and friendly to all our guests. When the dinner service was over the left overs were packed up and left for us to take home. We didn't even realize they loaded up their equipment and had gone home. Once again thank you to Scott for helping my husband and I give our daughter the Taco reception she really wanted. read more

Recently had Good Fellas come ALL the way out to Desert Center, Ca (the middle of no where) to cater our event for work. Of course there was a reasonable fee to come all the way out there, but it sure was worth it. We had delicious tacos! Fresh on time and everything that was negotiated over the phone, was clear and on point! Thanks Good Fellas!! read more

This was my first time hiring a taco guy and I loved it! The price was fantastic, service was wonderful and the food was delicious! We'll definitely use them again! read more

I can't say enough good things about Goodfellas Taco Catering!! They arrived early for my son's birthday party and their set up was perfect. They had great food offering 3 meats and all the fixings, which were all fresh and flavorful. Scott was an awesome guy and I will be using them again very soon!! Call Scott to have the fiesta of the year! Thanks for everything guys! read more

Excellent service and amazing food! We called them a week prior and they were able to cater our party of 50 without issue. They arrived on time and were very friendly. The food was delicious!!!! We even had leftovers and they were even better the next day. We had steak, chicken and tilapia tacos. Each item was amazing. The stuffed peppers and roasted jalapeños were a guest favorite as well. I'm looking forward to using them again! You can't go wrong here. read more

I booked GoodFellas for a company party I helped put together. They were an absolute breeze to work with from the get-go... from negotiating the price, to accommodating dietary restrictions, to the set up and break down. Everyone loved the tacos! The amazing cooks even started to offer carne asada fries... a definite crowd favorite! No food was wasted as they pack up all the leftovers and leave them for you to take home. Keeping their business card close for future events! read more

Staff was super friendly and the tacos were dooope! Good spread of toppings, super authentic highly recommended

We hired GoodFellas to cater a dinner during an anniversary celebration weekend with our friends and family. They were a huge hit! They arrived on time, set up quickly, and were very professional. But most importantly, the food was awesome. Everyone loved it. The fish tacos were my favorite. The only thing I didn't love was the cilantro lime rice, but everything else was great. They cleaned up and left without a trace. Super easy, would definitely use them again for an event. read more

We hired Goodfellas Tacos for our Company picnic last month and I can't say enough wonderful things about the service and professionalism exhibited by Scott and his team. We had an issue with the venue and I thought for sure we had to send them off and disappoint the employeeds but Scott and his team didn't hesitate to adjust and did what he had to to make it work and for that, I'm very grateful. The tacos were awesome, all 350 attendees enjoyed it and had a great time! Thank you, we'll definitely be calling you again for any events we have in the future (and this time, we'll make sure the venue allows propane!). read more

Loved the food and the staff was so friendly. Can't wait for them to cater our next event.

I strongly recommend GoodFellas Taco Catering. The food is so delicious, fresh and great ingredients are used. I used them last year for my daughters birthday party, I received so many compliments from the guest on how delicious the food was. Goodness, the individual writing the review that the staff is rude and unprofessional, the food is in the sun and that they do not wear gloves is absolutely incorrect. Another member of my family used his services and I never witnessed any of the bogus allegations mentioned. This is not your ordinary Taco Caterer. Their set up is professional, they dress professional and they abide by the health codes. I am very knowledgeable of food health codes in CA and they abide by them, if they would not, I am pretty sure they would not have great reviews on yelp. So, look at the other reviews on yelp and disregard the 1 star Goodfellas Taco Catering has. I am glad the owner exposed the 1 star is fake. read more

We recommend AGAINST using this taco company. Used them for our grad party this past weekend. They ran out of tacos in 1 hour, 20 minutes even though we purchased a package that guaranteed tacos for 50 people for 2 hours. They were very inflexible and difficult to deal with regarding product quantity, serve time and more. There are lots of great Taco caterers out there. Use ANOTHER company. read more

Our friends have had them for several parties. Always delicious. The Al Pastor is out of this world! Can't wait to hire them for our own function. read more

We hired GoodFellas for a family reunion and they were Awesome. The food was excellent and plenty of it, (so much so that we had tacos for a few days afterwards.) They were extremely helpful, friendly, efficient, and clean. If you like hot sauce, they have some heat in theirs, so be warned, or keep piling it on like some of my family did. We had chicken, carne asada, and carnitas. Everything was great, but I couldn't get enough of the carnitas...they were sooo good. When the meal was over, they cleaned up so well you would have never guessed they were there. read more

My husband and I used GoodFellas Taco Catering for our party that we had last Saturday evening, 12/5/15 - they were nothing short of amazing!! I found them here on Yelp and after reading all of the positive reviews, I had to give them a try. We didn't have to worry about anything - they had everything under control. The staff, Scott, Vanessa, and I didn't catch the name of the other two people, I'm so sorry, were ALL so professional, helpful, and right on time!! The food was delicious - everybody kept commenting on how good it was - I guess when it's a taco bar, most people just expect so-so food, but the meats were so well-seasoned, the rice and beans (I had two types of beans - 1/2 refried and 1/2 whole pinto) were perfectly cooked, and the condiments - 4 (I believe it was) different types of salsa (my favorite was the fire roasted red salsa - DELICIOUS!!), guacamole, sour cream, cilantro, onions, and cheese - were all right on point!! The package I got - the Ultimate Package - came with two appetizers, as well - quesadillas and cheese-stuffed peppers, and not like jalepeno poppers, these were fresh chiles stuffed with cheese - they were SOOOOO delicious!!! Veronica was SO helpful and easy to work with on the phone - when I called her 5 days before our event and asked her if I could move up the count from 80-90, to 120, it wasn't a problem at all. There was a lot of food left over, but I'd already come prepared with To Go containers, since I'd read the Yelp reviews and noticed that many said there was leftover food. The staff left the remaining food out for us so that we could still eat once they left, which totally unexpected. The owners of the venue (Stardancers Studio in Altadena), were even commenting on how good everything looked - I left them several of your cards - they said they were going to use your services when they had another event - they said they usually had Italian, or "regular" catering food for their events, but would like to try a taco bar for a change, after seeing how good everything was and seeing how professional your staff was. Okay, so now that I've written a short novel, I'll close with saying that we will definitely use you, again and will spread your good name. Thanks so much!!! :-) read more

Goodfellas has catered for my work twice now, very clean professional set up. They are always on time, and amazing tacos !!!

Delicious food. We had the chicken, carne asada, and carnitas tacos with a variety of salsas. The rice and beans were great as well as the quesadillas and stuffed peppers. They were very polite to all the guests and very clean. We highly recommend them. read more

Great service, great food, great price! What more could you want from a taco truck? Thanks guys!

Goodfellas Taco Catering served some fantastic tacos when they rolled into my son's high school for Back to School Night. Their beef and chicken tacos were outstanding, especially with both salsas, fresh cilantro, onions and a fresh lime squeeze. Scott was great to work with, especially on our short timeline, and gave us a great deal to help us fundraise. Goodfellas was on time, super courteous and served great tacos. We look forward to booking Goodfellas again! read more

I am so excited for GoodFellas to cater my casual campground rehearsal dinner. We just had a tasting (they come set up at your home!), and they beat the competition hands down. Especially loved the yellow peppers with queso fresco! Truly special. Scott was super nice, on time, and totally professional. We had so much fun at the tasting that I can't wait for the big event! read more
