Favorite place to order Filipino catering. I recommend calling the day before to let them know what pick up time you'll need for next day to give them enough time to prepare. Making lumpia from scratch is a labor of love and extremely time consuming so whenever I need something quick for an occasion, Offie's is always my go to. I have been coming here for a couple years now and they're always super consistent with their orders. The pricing is fair. There is no dine in, just pick up order only. There's a lot of parking available behind the store. You can park behind and walk to the front of the entrance if you can't find parking out front. read more

I ordered catering foods from them twice already. Their food are all delicious . I will order here again for my future celebration read more

I love this little hidden gem! Call ahead and order..this is my go to for lumpia!!! My family loves it!

Yes, the lumpias were amazingly delicious!!!!!! The service was great too and the prices are not bad at all!!

We have used this catering service many years ago, but have since moved. We have family in the local area and was having a birthday party when looking for a caterer I remembered Tita Offie. Coming from out of town and hosting a party in Cerritos. I was looking for convenience. Prices have gone up since I last remembered. I placed a large order for a big party and they delivered to the location. The food was good and I was thankful for the convenience. I would definitely use this caterer for all your Filipino food needs if you're looking for a one stop shot. read more

7/11/22 Review is only for their Chicken AFRITADA. I should rate it at a 4.5 star!! Oh my! My auntie ordered it and shared a huge portion of it to me and it was oh so good & hearty that I had to place a review on it. No photo unfortunately because it was all gone. For a moment I thought it was home cooked by my aunt because it tasted so hearty & delicious, so savory & full of flavor. As I mentioned I thought it was cooked by my auntie that I didn't bother to take a photo-I only found out after it was all gone that it was ordered from Ofie's. If this is a previous of what they offer, I can't wait to taste their other catered food. It's so good, I should order another Afritada dish! read more

Found this gem after doing a search on yelp and sorting through the reviews. Food was delicious! The male who took my order and the woman who helped me when I I arrived were soooo nice. Know that they do more catering and/or order ahead and pick up than sit down and eat. But, babe!!!! Can I say again, the food was amazing and it was reasonably priced. I fed my house (5 people) and my book club (8 people) and everyone said the food was amazing!!! read more

The food is amazing, the prices are fair and everyone working are fabulous. I can always count on them when I have gatherings.

Disclaimer - This review is ONLY for the "Lumpiang Prito" (Vegetable Eggroll). My family and I have been ordering Offie's lumpia for years and a necessity at all of our family parties. They're crispy and stay crisp, never get soggy. Even when they're not warm anymore, just throw them in the oven (NOT microwave) and it'll taste the same as the first batch. These suckers are huge - about an inch in diameter, 3.5-4 inches long and 1.5 inches thick; definitely not your average Filipino lumpia. They sell at $0.60 a piece and worth every penny. They are a party in my mouth, lip-smacking, heaven on earth pieces of delight. It's the only food that has vegetables that I'll willingly eat. My mom would always order extra to set aside for me and I could easily eat 5 of those in one sitting. According to my mom, you have to call in advance to order them and they get super busy so you need to follow up the day before you're suppose to pick them up. You can also order them frozen, but I personally like them already deep fried. There's something about how they cook them that I love so much and cannot compare when deep frying it yourself. Sorry there are no pictures; my cousins and I devoured them like Skittles before I had the opportunity to take a picture. =) read more

Offie's Restaurant & Catering - Caterers Near Me - Bellflower, California

Incredibly authentic, portions are very generous and tastes like authentic home cooking

I was throwing a surprise 75th birthday party for my mom and since my mom is usually the one who does the cooking, we had to find a caterer. The caterer had to be able to cook some good Filipino food that my mom wouldn't be able to say was cheap tasting (but since my pockets ain't deep, had to be cheap!) I called multiple spots around the area and decided to take a chance on Offie since her yelp had the best reviews and prices the most reasonable. I thought I was paying a little bit more for the quality but turns out, the portions were huge! Large sized trays of pancit bihon was $60 and were the 20x12" sized trays and they were deep! We also ordered a large tray of ginataang and chop suey and they were a hit!! Next time, I'm going to order all the food from Offie! She is a busy person so it was a bit hard to get a hold of her at first and I felt bad asking her so many questions (although she was never rude about it.) She has two numbers- I think one is a business phone and the other an after hours cell phone? Either way, if you can't get a hold of her via the first number, try the other one and she'll get back to you. read more

I have ordered here about 2 times. The first time I found this place was because of yelp & their great reviews...it was for a Filipino potluck at a house full of nurses. Yes I was one of those nurses & my coworkers loved offies food! Second, I liked their food & prices so much that I ordered from them again for my sons 2nd birthday party! They even delivered! Delivery wasnt overwhelmingly pricey either! I called them 3 hours prior to the event & they were in front of my doorsteps 30 minutes early! They're very professional & they just remind me of relatives dropping off some food because of their open & comforting personalities. read more

Offie's Restaurant & Catering - Grade A. November 2018. - Caterers Near Me - Bellflower, California

I was a little upset with the whole thing. First, let's start with the good stuff. The communication (through text) was pretty smooth for the most part, I paid for the order a couple days after talking to whomever (this was about a month in advance). The lumpia was so good, the pansit was good. Don't know how the sisig was but it definitely didn't go as fast as the one I had during my baby shower (was from MJ's Pinoy Fiesta). Now that leads to the bad.. The Sisig was supposed to be presented in the belly part of the Lechon (or so I thought it would be) because I asked for her to use the belly of the whole Lechon to make the sisig because having a whole one plus the sisig would've been too much pork at the party. The sisig came in a tray and the Lechon looked like it had been wearing a corset because the waist was so small. It looked weird. And the delivery guy even commented saying how it was a bad decision but the person placing the order wanted it that way, so they said whatever and did it and how ugly it was. Thanks, I made the order, don't need your comment uncle. But also, if they had issues or concerns, WHY NOT CALL ME?!?! So that made me mad. The valenciana (paella) was bad. It had the consistency of mochi. The rice was so sticky. I was super disappointed in it. And the kicker was THEY WERE LATE AN HOUR AND 15MINS!! NO ONE reached out to me. I even texted "Offie" and no response. Oh! But they were so quick to text me at 6am and ask me to pay for the $25 delivery fee. I was amazed that they did that. We paid about $680 for the food and then there was STILL a $25 delivery fee. I thought they had already added the fee because it was written on the receipt. Guess not. So yeah, I'm definitely not going to order from here again. I was a fool to listen to my dad and go to some place other than my go to (which I mentioned above). read more

Can't go wrong with this place. Good food, service, and very friendly, nice people. My favorite here is the okoy they have the best in town!

My mother-in-law ordered from here for my daughter's 1st birthday. They delivered the food on time. It was such a busy day that I didn't get to try all the food. The food I did try, I didn't really to taste it since I tried to eat it fast. I got to try some of the left overs the next few days. The pechi-pechi was really good. The paella was flavorful. I'm always a fan of lumpia or eggrolls. read more

We had our baby shower a few weeks ago and I wanted to have Filipino food for the party. Rather than ask my family to slave away and help cook for around 150 guests, I searched for a caterer which seemed more practical. Cerritos and Carson have lots of Filipino restaurants so I thought it would be easy to find somewhere to order from. There were so many mixed reviews, I couldn't decide so I turned to Yelp. I found Tita Offie's business and the reviews looked promising. I brought my parents with me to her location to help me order because although I know and eat Filipino food, I don't always know what they are all called. Tita Offie was great. She talked to my parents forever as if they've been friends for years. Already, I can see that she has been in this business because she truly cares for her customers. The food was delivered to our party on time (which is always a plus). As we set out the trays, not only did they look good, but they smelled good. The buffet line formed right away. As hostess, I didn't get to eat until later, but my guests were really happy and complimented all the dishes. When I finally had the chance to eat, it really tasted homemade. I don't know how else to describe it. The flavors were on point on everything (pancit, lumpiang shanghai, chop suey, bbq chicken, grilled pork belly, pork and chicken adobo, and all the other food I forgot the names of). I think it's because Tita Offie does not have a self-standing restaurant, that she can focus on the rich flavors of these catered dishes. If I ever need Filipino catering services again, I will definitely order from here again! read more

Had Aling Offie cater our daughter's baptism reception last weekend. We could not have found a better caterer, the guest were raving about the food and asking who cooked all of them. She is perfect for all occasions not just Filipino gatherings. Her roast beef was moist and tender and very well seasoned. The baked salmon and the chop suey were a big hit among the health conscious. Her Okoys were to die for. Our guests were very satisfied, I would not be surprised if Aling Offie gains new customers after our party. Aling Offie will be catering our family events for life. Aling Offie, thank you for making the reception a huge success, and you are right when you said... ' di ka mapapahiya' read more

I ordered 200 lumpias for 35 people and they were gone!!! The owner was very kind and even helped me to my car with order. Okoy and kutsinta, nuff said . Worth the 40- minute drive. I'm surrounded by tons of Filipino restaurants where I live, but no one makes okoy and kutsinta like this place. About a month before my son's baptism, I contacted Offie about catering our party. The grandparents were very particular about having a lechon at the party. I was informed upon my inquiry that they are able to accommodate my order. When I first placed my order, I gave ALL the information regarding where to deliver the food and who to contact. I also informed her that I needed the food to be at the venue by a specific time. I assumed all was in order. I decided to contact Offie the day before the party just to make sure everything was all set. I was surprised when she asked me for the address of the venue. She also did not have the contact information for the person helping me at the party. I gave all this when I placed my order. I was even more shocked when she told me that she didn't realize that they were delivering the food AND that there will be an additional charge on top everything she's charging me. (I had assume what she quoted me when I placed my order included the delivery charge.) However, I was ok with all these discrepancies. After our conversation, I was under the impression that everything was all taken care of. After the baptism, my family and I drove to the venue to enjoy the party. Everyone was very excited about the lechon, especially the grandparents. When I got there, I was told the food arrived on time BUT there was no lechon. I immediately called Offie. Offie informed me that I never placed the order. She said that I inquired about the lechon but I never actually placed the order. I was immediately floored by this ridiculous comment. I have witnesses who heard me actually place the order with her for the lechon. She told me that she did not charge me for the lechon, therefore I shouldn't be upset. She basically made it sound like it was all my fault. I was dumbfounded by this unprofessional demeanor. I would expect a catering service company to be more customer service savvy. However, despite the lechon screw up, the food was very tasty. Contrary to the one Yelp comment, the food did arrive on time. I just wished they took my order down correctly. If you use them, make sure you follow up excessively and double check your orders at least ten times. I should have. read more

I ordered eggrolls 2 days prior to the expected pickup. I went there to pick up on the time agreed and they did not have the food ready. They said they called me that morning to confirm if I will in fact pick it up and since I didnt answer they didnt make my eggrolls. First of all, when someone is ordering food for catering, its expected that they will be too busy that morning prepping for the event to answer the phone. Secondly, they didn't call me with the business number. The used a personal number so I didnt recognize it. I was on a strict timetable and they completely messed it up. I had to leave and ask someone else to pick up the eggrolls. I had the chance to listen to the voicemail they left at 11:00am that morning. My pickup time was 1pm. This is what they said, " hi you ordered lumpia. Are you going to get this or what? Because if not, I'm not making it." Wow. By the way, the lumpia was just ok. read more

Filipino food is common in L.A. but Tita Ofie's Catering is way above average. The food is exquisite. Everybody in the party is happy with the taste and amount of food.
