This place is amazing. I personally ordered a Thanksgiving dinner and they were there on the day for pickup - hot and ready to serve. I was thinking I was going to pick it up the day before - warm it up in the oven/microwave on Thanksgiving day. But - NO - they were there on the day and everything was ready with no delay whatsoever. My family was so impressed with me of what I brought them from Cafe N' Stuff. Here's the cool thing.... I didn't order the yams because I thought it was too much food - but she gave me a hot tray of yams anyway. That's what I call - going above and beyond the call of duty! For: Corporate luncheon with 20 guests. We placed an order for 2 Turkey Dinners for our yearly thanksgiving lunch. We were told that they are very generous with their portions and there would definitely not be a problem with feeding 20-22 people even though their site says 8-10 per dinner. So we placed the $200 order feeling very confident that we were going to have a great lunch. Day of event: After multiple calls, leaving messages, and even sending emails to re-schedule the delivery time from 12pm to 1pm, they delivered at 12pm. NEVER returned our calls, NEVER replied to our emails. Food: I very well could have done MUCH better on my own like the years prior for MUCH less money. (so much for trying to save our time for work and not cooking) We received: 2 small turkeys - pre-stuffed (between 5-8 lbs each when it should have been 12-14lbs) 2 sides of mashed potatoes (about 8in X 4in and 3 inches deep) -not at all enough for 20 people to get a good serving 2 20oz cups of gravy (fair enough) 2 4-6oz cups of cranberry sauce (again, think 20 people. C'mon!) 18 bread rolls (I guess...but they couldn't at least add 2 more?) 2 pumpkin pies That's it. For $200 (including a $10 delivery fee) Our first contact with them was very good. Very convincing and very trustful. Opinion of them has changed greatly. I'm sure they are very nice and friendly but when told that we should receive something a certain way, pay for it, and don't get it...what kind of review would you expect to get? I'm very disappointed to have to have gone through this ordeal. At least we had time to go buy more food. Will not be putting in future catering orders with Cafe N Stuff. UPDATE: Food quality was what you can expect from an ordinary turkey dinner. Nothing too special. Pumpkin pie was a bit under-cooked, but well spiced. read more

The food was incredible and everyone loved it--I highly recommend the dessert bar and the California chicken. The kids were also really happy with the children's menu options. Got married in December 2014, my review is a tad late...anyways! This was when the catering also had a building to offer to rent. Looking for over 3 months to find a great venue and affordable, I found Rita! Her team assembled a table to match my colors, had it set up like a mock-wedding day to show me what they can do for me, it was stunning! *I had a Doctor Who wedding theme, a bit hard to the average Joe, but Rita took a swing & knocked it out of the park! To the linens, wore glove waiters, the amazing food, the hall, the setup, and they even have me a deal on the ceremony room! It was a great deal and a wonderful stress free day! Even when my cake vendor (NOT CAFE'N'STUFF*) messed up my wedding cake, Rita herself and her head kitchen staff member fixed it! So that I did have a wedding cake! Just when I thought my day couldn't get any better, the food: Lasagna, butter and garlic penne pasta, rice pilaf, steamed veggies, chicken marsala, and jalapeño chicken, garden salad, butter and dinner rolls, champagne toast & buffet style with waiters! On Dec 3rd we had my parents 60th anniversary party there. Injust want tonsay that this is the perfect venue for a small party of 30 to 50 people. The place was decorated beautifully and the food was delicious. Roberta was very helpful. The price included the dinner, the venue, table clothes in the color scheme i requested, unlimited soda and coffee and a server. My parents and the guest had a wonderful time. I am getting married in Italy next month, and Irene's team was able to work with my mom on a menu reflective of our Italian theme. My husband and I got married two weeks ago and Rita and Cafe N' Stuff were amazing! We started planning our wedding a year ago and Rita was there the whole time to help and answer my one million questions! When we started thinking of ideas for our wedding the only thing my husband wanted was to have BBQ. On their menu they didn't list that they do BBQ, but when I asked Rita she more then happily said that they cold easily do this! They also provided the linens, utensils, and burlap table runners. Since, we were doing a vintage theme she suggested that we use Mason jars as the glasses and the drinks served out of dispensers that look like Mason jars. This turned out to be adorable and was just the right touch! She had so many great ideas and even suggested that we use Sparkling Cider for our toast instead of Champagne since we aren't drinkers and most of it goes to waste anyway. They also cut our wedding cake for us even though they didn't make it. The servers were all very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We have gotten so many compliments from our guests and even had one say it was the best wedding food she's ever had. Our guests even asked them for business cards and are thinking of using them for their future events. Overall, they were just wonderful to work with and I appreciated all the time you can clearly tell they put into it. Our wedding was beautiful and they definitely helped make it this way. I hired Cafe N' Stuff, 5 times for 2 funerals and 1 bridal shower ,and 2 birthday parties I have worked with Rita on all these occasions and she's amazing. She works so hard to make each experience the best.Rita and her staff will goes out of there way to make sure everything is the way you want it to be. Rita and her staff goes over and beyond to make your occasion just right for you. The staff is always clean and professionals, after one of the funerals I saw this little boy standing by his self crying, I saw one of her girls go over to him, she kneels down to talk to him. and she give him a hug next thing I knew the little boy walked away with a smile on his face. All I can say is her staff is very respectful and FANTASTIC. For the food, I had many different dishes from breakfast, to dinners, never had a bad meal, for my dads funeral Rita did a lunch for us, many different types of sandwiches, salads and the fresh fruit bowl was amazing, she did a beautiful lay out for us, and the food was amazing, Her staff was very respectful to all of us, everyone that was there love all the food. For one of the birthday parties she went out of her way and made a cake with a big Harley on it. The food was amazing and once again, the pulled pork is out of this world, she had a beautiful lay out for us. On the catering side, I've attended two events with Cafe N Stuff - one for our high school reunion and the other for a company picnic...both events were professionally staffed (and they were friendly, too!) and the food both times was amazing! Rita & her crew have consistently gone above & beyond to make both our events a wonderful success, and ones we're STILL talking about (hey, remember the BBQ from the picnic...yeah, and what about the chicken from the reunion?!) months later. The attention to detail for the decor was PINTEREST quality the food was perfectly seasoned. WOW! Cafe N' Stuff recently catered a wonderful dinner for over 100 people at a private home. Ebie and his staff did an excellent. job. Gypsy, one of Ebie's staff was very pleasant and helpful to everyone in attendance. The dinner was served right on time and Ebie provided excellent appetizers before dinner. The package was well within our budget and everyone in attendance raved over the prime rib and chicken that was served. i would give Care N Stuff 6 stars if it was available. Keep in mind Ebie had to bring all his equipment and food up several steps to get to the private back yard. The dinner came off without any problems whatsoever. Everything was right on schedule. Yucky food had the signature chicken dish .that looked like a half ass chicken fried steak smothered in oil some sort of cream sauce with stale sun dried tomatoes with a can of artichokes added the chicken strips for the kids tasted like freezer burn fried in dirty oil . Food is transported in dirty vans , in broken dirty transport boxes . Sacred to see what the kitchen looks like ,or how food is stored if it arrives in a dirty catering box with holes . Only giving 1 star because I can't give 0 or negative stars. They catered my Grandmother's funeral and it was absolutely horrible!!! My family payed a RIDICULOUS amount, I'm talking in the thousands, for food that was less then desirable. We ordered a variety of sandwiches and salads for the reception. The pasta salad consisted of overcooked pasta with huge chunks of celery and huge julien cut carrots that were unpeeled and even black with rot I suppose. We were suggested to also add Turkey wraps which are apparently a favorite, but what we got were turkey lunch meat wrapped in a wheat tortilla with some kind of cranberry jelly oozing out. Very sloppily made. I was horrified that our guests who came to honor a fallen chef were given such slop to eat. Not only was there not enough to around, but.I saw the staff helping themselves to the food and beverages. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I've even eaten in the sit down restaurant and even that left something to be desired. Deeply disappointed. Seems like they just stole our money. read more

Ebie from Café N Stuff hit yet another home run for the Cerritos Optimist Club at our annual picnic for club members and families at Liberty Park in Cerritos. I recently started working a few doors down from this restaurant. I have been to the restaurant about 10 times already since I can walk there. The first few times I was being served by a young man who was very nice but the last two time I was there, the women server was extremely rude and short with me. Just plain rude. She seemed nice to other patrons but short with me. Two days in a row. She wouldn't even look me in the face. She would drop everything and leave. Not even asking if I needed anything else. One day she even said to me that I may want to leave because my food would take over 25 to prepare. Who says that to a customer?? Not to mention, there were other people there and none of them were being told that. I was not going to return but I gave it one more chance and I'm glad I did. Our server Tracy was so kind and upbeat. She was attentive and sweet. I hope she is always there when I come in. If the owner is reading this, a talk need at be had with the other waitress who was there the last few days (3/16/15, 3/17/15 & 3/18/15) as she was incredibly rude & unprofessional. To the point of me not wanting to return. This is the only reason I deleted a star because besides her, the the food and service are great. I have used this company for catering a number of times and the service and quallity has always been excellent. I recently discovered that they have a Cafe in Downey so my daughter and I stopped in to have lunch, the food was very good and the service was great, our server was Gypcy (cute name) she was attentive and very pleasant. My daughter is a little fussy about her food and had several special requests, Gypcy was very patient and when the meal came out it was perfect. Cafe N' Stuff contributed to our perfect end of Summer wedding this year (2017)!!! 136 Guests! We had put off choosing our caterer until 3 months ahead of our wedding, it's hard to find a friendly, professional catering service that has good food! We finally went to Cafe N' Stuff. What a dream! Roberta was our wedding meal planner, and she scheduled us for a "tasting", serving us (3) different dinners we were interested in from their wedding menus. We expected to eat small samples from (1) plate, but when we arrived, there were full dinner plates of each selection. All of the food was delicious, but we were overwhelmed by their California Chicken, Asparagus, and Rice Pilaf. Roberta made us so calm about our late planning, letting us know there was nothing to worry about. She was right! When Roberta arrived with her staff at the reception, she worked closely with my wedding planner (my sister who handles wedding planning in Hawaii). My sister let me know that Roberta and the staff of Cafe N' Stuff was fantastic. All of my guests LOVED the food, and we did not run out. There was also not TONS of leftovers. Awesome planning Roberta! The staff served my guests, cleared tables, served champagne, cut my wedding cake, and left our venue kitchen spotless. I will use Cafe N' Stuff again in the future, and recommend them to everybody in need of a delicious, worry-free party. read more
