Nonetheless, I pulled up to the garage, and Josh met me outside with an understanding smile and a handshake. Upon noticing that I had an army of babies with me, he immediately helped get us into the spacious waiting room! He showed the girls the huge play area, with crayons, toys, books....you name it, and my favorite....a beautiful family heirloom -- A mini wooden rocking chair!!!! Josh informed me that it has been in the family for over 60 years!!!! Being a parent, and having your children in a situation where they have to wait in really any public setting brings it's own level of stress! That all melted away the moment we step foot in there. Now, getting down to the business side of things. Unfortunately, it was my starter that had completely gone bad. Josh reassured me that they could get it fixed, and had the part there in 5 minutes. He was completely up front and honest with the pricing of the part (pricey little bugger....which I already knew). He gave every discount he could find, including the mine discount! He kept me up to date on the timing of when my vehicle would be on the road again. Every rack in that place was full, and all of the mechanics were working hard to free a rack up for my vehicle. Josh explained that they were doing the best they could, to which I replied that we had every amenity that we needed and would be just fine.... That in fact I'm sure my kids wouldn't want to leave and it would be a struggle to get them to out of there, which it was! It wasn't 15 minutes later that Josh came over with a video showing me my new starter in its full glory....It was music to my ears after having to jump start my vehicle in the cold for the last 2 weeks; hoping the whole component didn't fail all together! And as soon as the video finished, he pointed over my shoulder out the window behind me. I turn around, and there's my "Silver Smokey" waiting right out front for us!!!! I was speechless! Josh explained that a mechanic named Gibson had seen me with my girls and didn't wait for a rack! He climbed under my vehicle; laying on the snow and ice to install the new starter! Gibson brought my keys in, just covered in snow and ice! He didn't have to do that, but he had told Josh he didn't want me waiting with all of my kids! That is what really tugged at my heart strings! When you look out for my kids, you have my heart, as well as a lifelong loyal customer!!!! I mean, Josh had already set the bar for how he treats his customers, and you just can't beat it!!!! Last summer, while washing my truck, a metal pole fell on the top, leaving a dent that cannot be seen unless standing in the box. Rather than hiding or ignoring it, the team immediately reported it to me. I told them, "who cares; it's unseen and doesn't matter". They were so concerned about making it right by me. Impressive. Besides the efficiency and competence, careful attention to detail and doing everything right, I appreciate the redundancy this team practices to confirm the accuracy of their performance. My very favorite part of all is the diversity of the team here. Gender and race. LOVE it. The teamwork they display together speaks volumes for the management of this location. The note on the comment card needs to be read just to understand the positivity at this venue. AVOID THIS AUTO SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!!…read more The mechanics at this shop are simply uneducated and unprofessional at what they do. I had trouble filling my car with gas. Every time I go to a gas station and start pumping gas into my car, the pump randomly stops but my gas isn't even close to full. So I had to continuously press and press the gas pump until my car was full of gas. So I took it to Reds to see what was wrong with it. The guy there said the Evaporation Canister and Vent Valve needed to be replaced. So I gave them permission to replace them. When they got it fixed I took it back to my local gas station and my car still had problems filling up with gas! I called Reds to set up an appointment to get it looked at again. So I had to drive all the way to their auto shop in Lockwood and drop off my car again. (I live in Billings by the way) The next day they called and said that they needed to install a vent hose in my car. I gave them permission to do so. After they installed it, they took my car to a nearby gas station at their auto shop and filled it with gas to see if it had any problems. Luckily it didn't. When I got to their auto shop to pay, they told me that they had to spend $10 to fill my car with gas to see if it was fixed. They said that I didn't have to pay for that. However, after I paid for the work to be done, I saw on the receipt that I was charged $10 for the gas that they put in. I then asked one of the mechanics if replacing the Evaporation Canister and Vent Valve was necessary to resolve the issue of filling my car with gas. He said that he wasn't sure and there was a chance that I didn't need to pay the amount of money that I did to get it fixed (which was $800). There was another problem that I had with this auto shop. I noticed that my car was leaking oil. I took it to Reds because they already knew about it when I bought my vehicle. They told me to bring it back to them if I noticed the leaking had gotten worse, which it did. I called and told them that I needed this leak fixed. They fixed it, but they replaced my breaks too, which I gave them NO permission to do so. I noticed this after I paid and received my receipt. They charged me an extra $368 for something I did not ask for. When I called Justin at the auto shop for an explanation and a refund, he said that I gave them permission to do my breaks, but I never did. I also called Eric, the owner of the shop, to explain what had happened. He never believed me and both he and Justin were unprofessional and rude in their responses. I would've never thought I would run into as much of an unprofessional owner and worker as Eric and Justin were. After all of this, I never got my money back. The employees at this auto shop are greedy and only care about your money. They don't care about you as a customer. This is the worst business I have ever been to and I will NEVER trust them with my vehicle ever again. Take your vehicle to another auto shop other than this one that will actually value you as a customer, won't rob you of your money, and will know how to operate a vehicle correctly.
