The staff that served me, I think it was a guy called Pat(?) was strangely haggard, rude and made me feel uncomfortable by the way he was staring at me and breathing heavily on top of that. Before a recent trip I would have given them 5 stars. That is until I purchased a device that the threads stripped out after a couple uses and when I took it back the guy just said, "sorry". To make matters worse I read this was common and the guy agreed. I went ahead and spent a ton on another device and still nothing was offered, I forgot the whole thing until I saw someone post up they took theirs back and were given a new one. Not real happy that I just tossed a $75 piece of metal in the trash. Considering how much business I and all the many people I have referred I would have expected better service. Nice selection. Love the layout of their flavor bar. Everything is on the wall and easy to get to, so you don't have to wait on a "bartender" to try anything that sounds good. I visited this location curious about RDA Mods. As soon as I entered I spoke to Will. First off, the guy is Awesome. He knew and answered all my questions. Will has a great personality. He explained how RDA's operated and took his time to demonstrate the equipment. Secondly, I was blown away of the great selection of modifiable parts they had. Chris another guy that was there also allowed me to test out his personal mod which was the one I ended up buying. Lastly the flavor I asked for, they had and much better tasting. A coworker referred me to 'Good Vapes' several months ago. I've been a loyal customer ever since! I have been vaping for around two years, but I could never find a flavor that suited me. Combined, these flavors make the best concoction! It's refreshing, cool and sweet. Honestly, 'Good Vapes' has the best selection of homemade flavors that I've ever seen. The shop, itself, is something special. There are local art pieces on the wall for sale, funky cow skin rugs on their concrete floors and vintage furniture adding a pop of color. There are two bins (turned coffee tables) where you can recycle used plastic bottles and vapor batteries. They have wooden shelves lining the walls that house dozens of flavors - All of which, you can sample. Honestly, I love just looking around the decor while I'm waiting for my mixture. 'Good Vapes' has great customer service! I'm always helped immediately. They answer all my questions with a smile. I feel comfortable around them. I also feel like they're very knowledgeable. Sure, some of the items are a little more expensive than other places, but the customer service makes up for it. Plus, 'Good Vapes' has a reward program in place. They keep track of your purchases. And after you spend a certain amount of money, you get something for free. (I can't really recall the details.) Overall, try them out! You won't be disappointed. This place is okay if you need something right now, but if you can take the time to order your equipment from one of the many shops you can find on-line you will save a bundle, a large bundle. They do have a decently large selection of flavors, but the mixing is inconsistent. Two bottles of the same fluid picked up two days apart by family members and the flavor is great in one, and weak in another. This isn't the first time this has happened either. The staff is hit or miss, one or two are great, answer any question you have, take time to walk you through how to handle a new piece and talk about alternatives, others could care less. Today I was in the shop and giving my order to one of the people behind the counter when another customer walked up and announced 'how's it going dude' I was ignored from that point on. I had no intention of setting aside my dirty nasty habit until a friend let me try their e-cigarette. They referred me to Good Vapes, way out 635 & Forest Lane, a good ways from where I hang in Las Colinas. There I had the pleasure of meeting Erin and Chris, both of whom I have found to be most helpful in aiding me in navigating this new hobby of Vaping. My initial purchase was the eGo-T. I had problems with it leaking all they time, so I switched to a cardomizer. That worked great, but I found I was re-filling it all the time. Finally, I have gone to a tank system. While I still have been cheating with the nasty dirty stuff on occasion, the staff at Good Vapes have always been good cheerleaders, and have been very professional, and more than that, very personable, in my dealings with them. Since my introduction into vaping about 5 months ago, I have found another store or 2 which are much closer in proximity to me. However, they have seemed much more "slick" and "used car saleman"-like. So for me, it is worth the drive, and maybe a couple extra $$, in order to patronize the gang at Good Vapes. I went into good vapes for the first time today. It really should be called bad vapes. They insulted my boyfriend and I by looking at our ID's for five minutes and thinking they were fake.. They made us wait outside the entire time. Once we finally got into the store, we weren't greeted professionally. The manager had a new born baby out in the store; very unprofessional. I asked to see any starter products that were under my budget of 50$, but the guy kept insisting that I grab something more expensive. They also have Kanthal wire and silica wick that they'll sell in lengths if you like to rebuild. Knowledgeable, friendly staff and a good selection of e-juice flavors, which you can customize if you like - I got a 60/40 VG/PG mix with a little extra flavor kick made to order while kickin' back at the bar sampling others. Well this place is a blessing. My partner and I debated over the way we were going to stop smoking. We really didnt think we were strong enough to just put the cigs down and go cold turkey. I was looking for a new place to buy e-liquid that was a little closer to home and Good Vapes was recommended by a friend. I went online and was shocked how low the prices were so I ordered 3 bottles, the shipping was much higher than my usual e-liquid supplier but the prices made up for it. After ordering I received a phone call from Good Vapes informing me of a mistake on their website and what I ordered was priced incorrectly so they would not honor the prices on their site but would upgrade the bottle size. In the end I payed way more than I would have on my original site and the mistake on the site still has not been rectified. I will not be ordering from this site again and will only visit the store if I have an immediate need for e-liquid, seeing as DFW Vapor is in the area and has a better selection, better pricing and constant coupon codes online. read more
