I have had two small repairs and took both to their convenient location on Eastern Ave. The work was done as described and in the time expected. I find them very professional and would recommend them without hesitation for any type of auto body repair. Both times I went I only priced the job with them and both times I thought the price was a little high but since I didn't shop around I don't know if it was comparable to others. I like this business. They are a family run business and a local small business. They take pride in the work they do, which to me deserves repeat business. After giving me their initial estimate for repairs, I left my car with them with the understanding that there might be some differences between the initial estimate and the final cost. Well after three weeks went by, I decided to call them the day before picking up my car to make sure the car was ready and to see what the final damage was. I was surprised to find that the total cost of the repairs was now over $1700 CAD over the initial estimate of ~$6400 CAD. After calling in and talking to Frank about the additional charges, he spent some time explaining to me the reason for the charges and was kind enough to help me out by bringing down the additional cost down to over $1500 CAD by reducing their service fee. At the end of the day, once I was able to process everything that Frank and I had discussed. I was fine with the additional cost because I probably would have requested the same repairs and parts to have been done but I was left feeling unsettled due to what seemed like a huge overnight increase in total cost. On the day of the pick up, the car was immaculate and they really did an amazing job fixing my car to a like new condition. The mechanics were checked out and the car was detailed and ready to go. Unfortunately, their amazing work was marred by the fact that they didn't contact me once throughout the repair process to give me an update on revisions to the initial estimate or additional charges throughout the process. Even though I was already prepared for a possible price increase of $500-$700, I definitely should have received notices or updates on some of the larger additional charges either via phone or email during the repair process. After voicing my concerns on the day of the pickup, I was told that someone definitely follow up and call me back to address my concerns. As of yet though, I haven't heard anything, which is really unfortunate considering the amazing work that they do.

The industry norm for ratings seems to be up to 5 stars, the people at Master Mechanic Matheson deserve at least double that, and it is my opinion that their name says it all "MASTER MECHANIC' as these folks have done the "almost impossible". How many of us over the past have had a vehicle they wish they had never sold! As an occasional collector of unique automobiles, I have a favourite, and this one I have never sold. Purchased new with some added horsepower by the folks at Nascar, my pride and joy is a 1996 Lincoln MK VIII LSC. While this vehicle is relatively low miliage, at 27 years old, parts are failing more due to age than wear and tear. Time for a fairly substantial overhaul, a complete vehicle inspection was performed, and identified 11 problem areas each supported by a detailed description and supporting pictures. A work order was then supplied with cost estimates for each repair/replacement. Parts, however, are extremely hard to find as there are apparently only 12 of these vehicles still registered, difficult to source parts (some of which took days to find, and could only be found in the USA) were obtained by Kirk the (Service Advisor), and installed by Edward, Rashidul, and possibly other Technicians. These parts included a Power Steering Rack and Pump with various hoses, A/C Compressor and associated hoses, front upper Ball Joint, Sway Bar Link, wiring for rear tail lights, and for safety sake, and not available as parts, new steel brake lines (and transmission lines) were hand crafted and installed by the Technicians, completely replacing the old lines. I can't express how impressed I am as these folks have worked wonders, and everyone there deserves a personal thank you for the courteous, professional and efficient service they have provided. Came here for a brake service and replacement of my power steering line and pump…read more Car came back running rough, spewing a lot of black smoke and could not reliably reach highway speeds. After two visits back at LP Europe Motorsport to try to correct the issue, they told me the problem was most likely not a result of their work. Frustrated, I took the car to another mechanic who put it on the hoist and found the issue within 10 minutes. When LP Europe Motorsport was replacing the power steering pump they damaged the turbo outlet hose which resulted in incorrect boost when the engine was calling for it. This caused the poor performance I was experiencing. In addition, the replacement of my parking brake cable resulted in lots of scratches and damage to the interior of my car. Missing plastic pieces of trim, cracked center console and plastic around the shifter that was visibly damaged. When I showed Luis this damage, he just looked at me and shrugged. I'll never go back to LP Europe Motorsport and I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and quality of work. They simply do not care about your vehicle or your safety. I would recommend that anyone planning to take their vehicle here to seriously reconsider. Edit: Vehicle is a 2003 VW Golf TDI.
