When we received keys…read moreafter escrow closed we were so sad to discover gross green algae on the walls and stairs of the pool. The pool man hired by the seller stated we would need to drain the pool and do an acid wash, which he would charge $1,100 for!!! I felt this was crazy and decided to do some research before moving forward. We've never had a pool before so we have NO idea how to care for one. I was nervous that man might be right. I searched for the nearest pool supply store and found Don's Pool Supply. I called and they asked me to take photos and bring them in to take a look. When I arrived at the store I showed the photos to the gentleman who laughed at the idea of doing an acid wash. He told me it wasn't necessary. He gave me instructions on how to fix the issue myself. I purchased an algae eating powder which I sprinkled in the pool and let it sit. I then scrubbed the sides with the brush I also purchased from Don's. After that I dumped 4 gallons of chlorine in the pool and let the pool pump run its course. Yesterday I came home from work to a SPOTLESS pool. It literally looks BRAND NEW!!!!! I couldn't believe how crystal clear it looked!!! Acid wash....psh. There are some people who are out to take your money......and take advantage of you. And there are others like the staff at Don's Pool Supply who are out to help you and are HONEST people. As a new resident of Rialto, I'm happy to say Don's Pool Supply has gained a life long customer. Thank you Don's Pool Supply for being honest and keeping your customer's best interest in mind.

He explained what he could do to repair my unit and also have me options to replace my unit if the repair didn't work. He was honest and more than fair in his pricing. If you need any type of pump and filter repair this is the man Chris the store manager at the Rialto leslie pool supply. Fontana leslie pool supply wouldn't do anything to assist me but told me to contact other leslie pools they might be able to help. Thank God I found Chris. He's amazing. I have been waiting since June 2 to use my pool. Eddy opened it but didn't start the pump. When…read more I started the pump I asked if I turned the handle 90 or 180 degrees. Eddy confirmed that 90 degrees was correct. This ran the pump dry after about 2 minutes.. He later said he was driving and didn't read my text message. Eddy would not answer questions about the pump and I tried to get someone to look at it. If Eddy would have come back he could have told me the pump was irreplaceable. About a month later he did tell me this. Eddy suggested a new pump and installed it. He made me find an electrician. Once turned on the variable speed pump started shutting off intermittently. Eddy blamed the electrical but said he does not know anything about electrical. He just plumbs in the pump. He said he would get a replacement. After 3 more weeks of not receiving the promised a new pump. Over and over he does not show up. (Three times this week) I feel like I have wasted money for almost 3 months. I have yet to be able to use my pool and it is getting too late in the season to heat with solar. Since I can't circulate water Eddy offered to clean my pool for my birthday in July. He didn't show up or call (as usual).. My pool has yet to n e e vacuumed and I can't put the cover on when not circulating. I was thrilled with the pool plastering job done by Rubin. t Eddys pool service is not dependable or communicative. After 12 weeks I have a non working pool and have no idea when the non working pump will be replaced. According to Eddy that was going to be 3 weeks ago after the first pump failed. Eddy is OK at opening and closing but often doesn't call or show if his plans change. I have wasted money on pool support this year even after purchasing an expensive non working replacement pump. Use the pool plastering service but be cautious about expecting service or communication from Eddys pool service for ongoing support.
