Then comes up with all these these things and finally say we need a skid steer to get it out, ummm ok. $1200, ouch but ok. Walk back up and then he comes back up says updated price $2029, at this point I say nope, bye. I called On My Way and this family owned family run business from the get go put me at ease. The mom said the Dad and son were coming back from rescues on the pass and would call me within the hour, 20 minutes later I get a call back and they were dropping off the car and will be right there. Seth was there within the hour and was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. We walked down and looked and I told him the same as I told the kid, which Seth looked to be close to the same age but anyway, told him my buddy and drove on the grad side and didn't break through and could get within 110 ft. He says no problem let's go. He drives down turns around pulls me out no problem and I'm out. We get up top and I say how much? $256 he say, huh? $2029-$256=$1,773.00. I gave him $300, probably should have gave him more thinking back but... I will never use any other towing company other than On My Way Towing and neither should you. I returned to the accident site later to take photos, and Rodney had already cleaned the street, leaving zero indication that a high speed collision occurred. That says a lot about his thoroughness, work ethic, and how he honors his contract with the city. I went by Rodney and Karen's storage yard the next day to empty my unrepairable SUV. Again, they were both super concerned, respectful, and helpful. When I had trouble removing the racks from my vehicle, Rodney climbed up on my car with his tools and assisted me. On a Monday morning: The First Lady that answered was sweet and kind and helpful she told me what the fee was like $304. It was towed during the holiday and weekend hours. She told me the cost wouldn't go up until after 5pm. I call back later that afternoon and a lady answered to me it sounded like the women I had spoke to earlier, she said my car was now 318 dollars. I explained that I was told the price would not increase until after 5pm from her. She told me I didn't speak to her earlier that day actually. And there was an 11 dollar additional charge for something. Here's the deal, my car was towed. I have to pay a lot of money for it. I couldn't get it out on holiday, so it cost more... all my fault. But I don't think it's appropriate for the the receptionist working there to give me an attitude because I was told the price wouldn't increase until after 5pm and it did. It was horrible customer service from that second ladies attitude. I do not appreciate it. I am not impressed by it. Get an attitude adjustment lady. You work in customer service.
