What a fantastic company. I did some research on overhead garage racks and other companies who used inferior hardware which resulted in injuries and damage and then I found Good Garage. I called and spoke with Matt who was very personable and professional and asked that I send him some photos of the garage ceiling configuration. Word must've gotten out about them -- they're booked! We booked them about a month before we had our installation. I was able to do all my research online so I knew what to expect in terms of pricing. Once Caden came onsite he was able to give us a good recommendation on what would hold the most weight, be the most secure, and what would work within our budget. He was very friendly and helpful! He initially quoted us the priciest option with the most storage, but we were easily able to come to a price and storage solution that worked for us. Our final product ended up being done in less than 2 hours and was quick and easy! We're so excited to free up some space in our garage so hopefully our floors stay clear and accessible. One thing to note, we had our racks set at about 33 inches from the ceiling, but if we ever want to get them raised up higher so there is more vertical room in the garage, he noted it would be an $80 service call. We are happy with where they are now as he noted that most cars would fit underneath, most fridges, and allows us to stack 2 rows of boxes on top but it was good to know we had options. The racks are very sturdy, secure, and aren't going anywhere!! read more

When he arrived, I was in the garage moving some stuff around at the last minute to (hopefully) make his installation go smoother and, rather than assume he could park in the driveway he asked first, which I appreciated. As we discussed what I was thinking, Javier took my considerations in and actually made some recommendations that made more sense after consideration, and he didn't try to upsell me on anything, but rather presented the benefits of each system and let me determine what I wanted, In the end, with the primary storage being Christmas decorations, we both thought it made more sense to go with the 600 lb system vs the 1000 lb system. He was finished with the job in no time at all (I believe he concluded just past 1pm), and it was fanstastic. When they come out for an estimate they are also prepared to do the installation immediately if you like. We initially worked with Nick who gave us a lot of information but we did not install that day. We called back for installation about 10 days later and Brandon arrived on time as scheduled.
