The price was very good compared to getting your own storage or at other companies. Randall, the installation tech was on time, friendly, professional and did an excellent job installing the overhead storage. He also helped us plan out where we wanted to place the storage and how many we needed. They have standard weight limit 600lbs and heavy duty 1000lbs. We got the heavy duty storage 4ft X 8ft. We were in bad need for extra storage space in the garage. He gave me some good suggestions about laying down a melamime shelf cover to get a smooth surface vs. a wire surface. Heard from the business owner, who took his time to reach out to me in response to my low review. He was very open , and he spent time listening and addressing my concerns and acknowledging that the credit card fee should've been disclosed beforehand (which it is apparently their normal practice to disclose it beforehand), and he also offered me a refund of $70.37 for the cost they would've incurred to send someone back out again to redo the work (since I chose not to make more holes in the garage to have it redone) , and to cover the credit card fees I had paid. He also informed me that the deck materials are plated and are therefore very rust resistant, which was reassuring. I am increasing my review because I really appreciate that he really acknowledged my concerns and made an effort to make it right. read more

I wish Yelp offered 10 stars. I found 'Good Garage' ad in a local publication. The concept looked like something that would be clean, simple and meet my needs. There are a plethora of garage organizer companies, but I didn't want to go the that route as these companies are very expensive due to sales commissions and overhead. And, those rack kits for the 'do-it-yourselfers' are flimsy, and, are not customizable. I called Good Garage. Matt, the owner, returned my call within 1/2 hour. He said there was no commitment to buy and that if I liked the product, and the price, he could do the work right then. We set an appointment. Matt came out on time which I always appreciate. We discussed a layout that would look nice and suit my storage needs. He gave the quote which was very reasonable. He completed the work in under 90 minutes and even offered to saw up my old wood shelves so that I could dispose of them in my trash can. The garage was left clean and I didn't have to do any trash haul away. The product is extremely durable with a clean, contemporary look. These racks are very heavy duty! Matt did an excellent job on the installation so I have no worries they could fall and damage my cars. I now have an additional 200 cubic feet of above storage which allows me to get stuff off the floor so I can fully open my car doors. Unfortunately this is an incomplete review and I can't speak to their technicians or product. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 8a. Around 7:15 I received a text message that a technician called out and they could not make it. I then rescheduled for Thursday with an ETA of 2-3p. At 2:45 I received a text that the technician called out again and they could not show up for a second day. The issue I have is not the technician that called out but the way it was handled. When I spoke with the rep he didn't seem to care much of the inconvenience it was to me, zero remorse. He also didn't seem to care much for my business. He asked if I would want to reschedule again and when I said I wasn't sure if I could rely on them to miss work another day, he said ok let us know and call back to schedule if I'd like.
