The star of the show was definitely the short ribs and they had a nice balance of fat to meat ratio and went great with the rice. The beef was a little bit on the chewier side and the katsu was a bit dry. The sauce that they did provide was a sort of sweet and sour sauce but just didn't pair all that well with the meat. The sweetish-tangy contrasted quite poorly but this is a just personal taste so can't dock too much for it. Overall, I think it is good and I will try to go in-person. My 1st observation was that there was lot of salmon. A bunch of fresh veggies too. For being on the menu as a rice bowl, there was exactly the right amount of rice underneath everything else. This definitely was not a case of too much rice being added as an empty calories filler. All in all, it was quite tasty. Indeed, even zesty. & enormously filling.
