Unexpected surprise:) Mike was super helpful & found they had a variety of items. Found the pizza was yummy, dough was fresh & crunchy. Ordered freshly made meatballs w/spaghetti also yummy. My wife got baked chicken over spaghetti w/ a beautiful sourdough roll. She loved every bite. Also got fresh cut watermelon & fruit platter which we enjoyed after the meal. Additionally Mike had a young man working their deli and making a variety of sub sandwiches that looked sooo good! I'll have to try them next time. Good Fellas deli is a hidden gem in Secaucus that's definitely worth supporting. The owner, who starts work as early as 1:30-2 in the morning, is kind and attentive, offering a variety of dishes at 7 am!!! He saw me looking at the different foods and made sure to let me know he had other things available as well Idk about you but if there's dinner food available in the morning I'm going for it. It's not always the shiny and polished interior that makes a place worth visiting, it's the quality of the products, the level of service, and the overall experience that truly counts. read more

I went there for breakfast a few weeks ago. The first thing I noticed is the soda cooler and the meat freezer were side by side in the front of the store. I thought this was odd. Then upon opening the soda cooler I seen a cluster of roaches scatter all over the place. If the roaches are in the soda cooler. I'm pretty sure they are in the meat freezer..I decided to leave. That's very unsanitary. Upon leaving the deli I seen a woman sitting in the front table preparing meat and chopping vegetables with no gloves on. ​Everyone knows that meat and vegetables are not supposed to be prepared next to each other. Went into this place last week to get breakfast and let just say for starters walked in right by the door lady sitting there hands all in the meat she was preparing no gloves out in the open customers walking in man sitting next to her coughing his lungs up. Then go to the back to grab a drink opened up the cabinet and a family of roaches tucked away in the corner began to run.all over the cooler while in that cooler they had opened meat in there. It took me almost a year to make it in here. I made the mistake of judging a place by its outside looks, challenged parking and the fact that it's a combination deli and pizza place. These are all reasons I should have gone in instead of avoiding it, but I'm glad I finally did. The inside was pretty chaotic, but the guy working the pizza area was supper helpful and spoke to me like I've been coming in for years. Many slice options, steam table and whatever kind of sandwiches you might want. Try to get beyond the stuff piled all over the place. It didn't seem to phase the guys who were taking their lunch breaks in there. Two slices were good enough to come back for, but they weren't great. Only other slice competition in the immediate area is Campanellas down the street, so Goodellas wins the prize for best slice on County Ave. read more

Surprisingly solid pizza and deli in the middle of industrial Secaucus. Had to get a quick bite as my internal clock is wacked out from the red eye and piecemeal sleep stints I've had. It looks more like a convenience store from the outside with a couple of tables in front and in the store. The pizza slices are humongous. Got a pepperoni/sausage and a bianco. Co-worker got a stromboli to boot. Probably would have enjoyed it more if I had some time but it was still decently tasty and filling. read more

I eat here almost every morning.. I've tried lots of things over the years and have never been disappointed and from what my kids say, the pizza is good too. Listen, it's not a five star restaurant so you're not going to find candles on your table.. it's loud, busy most mornings and afternoons but good food, good prices and most important... good people. The breakfast! Hungry Man Platter! You can have pancakes or french toast and platter includes eggs, ham, bacon & sausage. When I order this I can actually make it last for breakfast and lunch! Omelet platters are incredible and the home fries are seasoned excellent. Wraps are filling and such a variety. Chili cheese burger! Incredibly juicy, spicy and great size. Empanadas are delicious! Whomever thought of putting a deli, pizza place, and resturant right in the middle of a town where there's alot of factories , is genius. Goodfellas never ceased to satisfy me for their kind employees, reliable fast service and great food. Their food isn't 5 star perfection, however, it's great when you actually have a place that has nice people, quick service and good food. The prices aren't bad either. This is the place to stop by if you're driving or working in Secacus for almost anytime of tne day. Especially. people like me who work in a factory. Went in there a few minutes ago. There w as one other person in there. The older lady with the short hair asked what I needed, I told her, a man walked in looking at the hot food and she bee lined right over to him and never came back. The other guy working there said what do you need, I told him, he retrieved it and tossed it on the counter. I picked it up, paid an astronomical amount of money and said thank you, sir. He practically growled. Miserable bunch of people in that dirty little deli. I live nearby and am always buying take out, but in all of my experiences with this joint, I ONLY go there when desperate. I stop in here for breakfast and lunch quite often. The food here isn't anything spectacular but its pretty good. The portions are always on the larger side. My four star review is based on the quick service and getting what you pay for. You can come here hungry and leave full without spending too much money. You get lots of food for the price. I don't eat pork so getting breakfast can be a bit tricky. I am happy to report that Goodfellas is the answer to all my fellow "no pork on my fork" comrades. Their turkey bacon and turkey sausage is out of this world! Not a place to take someone on a first date unless you're trying to show her how thrifty you are. My wife and I each had a slice of pizza. Mine was Mexican and my wife had pepperoni. Both were tasty, although being pizza by-the-slice, they weren't fresh out of the oven. They did reheat them though. The place is not especially clean looking, and no restrooms are to be seen. Also very limited parking. We parked way down the block. We had planned to go to Quiznos which is nearby, but Quiznos' parking lot only holds about 5 or 6 cars and it was full. So, we came here and found the same situation. Pros: Fast and fairly friendly counter service. Inexpensive. (2 20oz. Sodas and two huge slices of pizza were $9.63). Probably good for take-out. Cons: I can't recommend "dining in" although there were 3 others besides us at the tables. read more

Won't be ordering from here again... I work LESS THAN A MILE AWAY, and it took over 45 mins for my order of a sausage and egg on a bagel to be delivered. The sand which was horrible and overpriced for what it was. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you go to bagel buffet instead of this place. read more

Nothing fancy but good food at a good price. Ive ordered from there many times and have never been disappointed. Cheese Steak and wings are my favs. Not sure what one reviewer is talking about when they say they are rude. They've always been nice to me.
