Basically you walk in, grab a box and load up on 24 different kinds of k-cups for about $16. The flavours are awesome!!! Creme Brule, Raspberry chocolate truffle... If you have a Keurig, or a Tassimo, you must check this place out. Rather than buying a whole box (which you can also do) you can make your own box. It's pretty awesome!

I did not know Chatime has an innovation bar. I know certain chains (for instance, Tim Hortons) have fancier versions of their staple store where they offer a more creative menu, but I did not know Chatime had the same deal, so I was very excited. Walking in, it already feels more upscale than a regular Chatime. They have a display of macarons and other desserts. The store looks clean and well-maintained. There is a counter to put your drink on but there's not really a sitting area. I was excited to get my drink. There was a matcha honey drink that I wanted to try that I forgot the name of, but they didn't have it in stock. Luckily, the menu was so extensive that there were multiple things I wanted to try. I ended up ordering the Matcha Ube Tea instead. They made my drink fairly quickly. I didn't get to drink my tea until I got home because I got a defective straw and didn't notice until I was on the subway, so I couldn't poke it into my drink. Do note that their straws are made of flimsy paper material that isn't very durable. I would advise drinking at the store so if you get a defective straw, you can get a replacement. The drink was quite good! A great mix of ube and matcha. Not too overly sweet. It makes me want to come back and try new flavours if I'm ever in the area!

Heavily visited by the students from the 2 major high schools in the area. Also, you can only access the parking lot while driving north on Avenue. Turning left off of Lawrence? Not fun and then you have to cross two lanes of traffic. Turning right off Lawrence? Easier but not particularly convenient. Traveling south? Just find a different location. Then the parking lot is not user friendly! Limited spots, can't turn around easily and there are massive cement blocks in the way. There is some additional parking at Shoppers but they don't like people parking if you aren't shopping there. Final thoughts: typical Starbucks but very low in the convenience category.

The egg pudding coffee, which I ordered cold, was made with a Vietnamese coffee base, and a creamy, eggy, froth on top. It was the perfect balance of strong coffee with a hit of sweetness. I will try the hot version on a colder day. A proper plastic drink stopper was included, and appreciated. The flan was the perfect size. Big enough to scratch an itch, but not so large as to feel guilty about it. Perfectly executed, a nice accompaniment to a beverage, and in an adorable, washable and resealable heart-shaped container.
