I never think of crepes as a lunch item, but Good Day has me totally rethinking that! It's always SO difficult to pick which vendor you are going to pick when you visit the City Foundry, but on a recent visit with my buddy Topher, I was ravenously hungry and picked the first place I got to, which was Good Day. While it was definitely on my list to try, their location as the first stall definitely gives them an advantage for people coming into the City Foundry food hall. Their booth is quaint and cozy with nice tiling on the front. I love how each vendor gets to put their own touches on the space to make it their own. The employees of Good Day were SO friendly, and worked diligently. I was there slightly before the lunch rush and I could tell they were in prep mode. But they kept smiles on their faces and helped me choose my meal. I went with the curry chicken crepe. It was such an interesting take on what I'd expect from a crepe; it practically leapt off the menu and onto my tray. The fluffy crepe housed tender, flavorful chicken, chickpeas, spinach and a veggie mix. I thought Good Day did a great job of capturing the essence of a tandoori meal inside this delicious meal. The crepe was covered in a thicker curry sauce that was perfect for a salt lover like myself. Would have loved a little more zing to it, but it worked well with the rest of the flavors inside the crepe. What I also appreciated about the crepe from Good Day was the portion size. While I was very hungry at the time, the serving was just right. I wasn't overly stuffed nor did I walk away wanting more. The menu at Good Day is creative and has so many options. I cannot wait to return to tried their fried meatball crepe which basically looks like a toasted ravioli the size of a dinner plate.

We were able to make one of each with great ingredients. I first made a savory crepe with turkey, cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes and peppers. Covered it in pesto and bechemel sauce. 2nd crepe was a sweet one with strawberries, marshmallows, graham crackers and Nutella. Class was fun and interactive, a fun way to spend an evening! Emily also made sure to keep our drinks full so service was amazing!!!

It's in a little strip mall in Chesterfield Valley. There are a few little tables outside on the sidewalk. It was a little cool so we opted to sit inside. There isn't a hostess stand, but a server saw us and came and told us to sit wherever we would like. There are about a dozen tables in there and I believe they all seat two, but staff would push them together for larger groups. When we got there, there were a fair number of tables open and by the time we left, people were waiting for tables. There are also four seats at a counter. It's not a huge space, but it's a decent size and really cute! We ordered our lattes and checked out the menu. We had to make hard decisions because everything sounded good! We decided we were going to get savory crepes. We both really enjoyed our meals - it was so good! Our server (can't remember her name) was great! The place is nice and clean and the walls are decorated in a Parisian theme. There was literally nothing we didn't like about it an

There's a waitlist through Google, too.0 It's been around for awhile and always busy with locals so I think it's stood the test of time. If you haven't been here before, get the Clara Cake (13.5) or they're considerate enough or I have single slices of the Clara and other famous toasts / pancakes that range from 5-6.5 to try. Everything else is simple and fresh. You might leave a tiny bit hungry or 80% full which is good place to be Also parking is easy ish since there's a neighborhood nearby and after all it's just St. Louis not SF or LA!

They seated us at a long table with people at the other end, but we still had ample space. To started our meal, we ordered a hot chocolate and coffee, along with some of the delicious doughnuts. Those doughnuts were scrumptious, and I even made sure to save one chocolate for after my breakfast. For my main course, I opted for the BBLT, which was an enormous sandwich filled with all the classic ingredients: bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, over-easy egg, and aioli. It was served on a wheat bun with breakfast potatoes, making it a hearty and satisfying meal to kickstart my day. We also shared a giant blueberry pancake, which was a complete meal in itself. I'm still reminiscing about that delicious pancake along with everything else and can't wait to return to this place for another delightful brunch experience!

The interior is small, about 20 seats spread across different tables. There is an area to place orders, but that's for carry out. You also check in there and then grab any open table if you are going to eat in. The interior is decorated with random stuff that is meant to look French, but just makes it appear cluttered. We ordered a couple of breakfasts and waited for a while for them to come out. Coffee was basic and the London fog was really watered down. But the worst was when the food came, I ordered over easy eggs, and the came out way undercooked. Like, still very liquid. But since our server never came back to check on us, I ate everything else. While we waited, we heard them explain to someone that they don't make most of their pastries, which was disappointing. When our sever finally came back to drop off the check I showed her the eggs and asked for them to be taken off the bill. She tapped on the handheld device for a second and handed it to me for payment. When I asked for a copy of the receipt, she seemed nervous. After I got it, i noticed that it had not been taken off. She left to go to other tables and I didn't feel like being there anymore. I would suggest skipping this place and trying the other restaurants in the area. Better food and better service!
