Saw this place on TikTok from a fellow food blogger and wanted to check it out since it was close to my area. It was very small and intimate a lot of people took their order to go. I went with my mom and nephew and we ordered 3 corn dogs, 8 piece wings and 2 drinks. To begin the price of the wings was very expensive for 8 SMALL wings it was $14.95 I definitely did not see the worth in it. I thought they'd be bigger, but they were very small. The corn dogs were good in flavor and size they were priced from $3.99 to $5.45 depending on which filling you purchased and if you want to add cheddar cheese $1 more. The drinks were good but can be misleading. They added the term "mojito" to their drink menu but what it's really a colorful carbonated drink (the cashier did warn me about that). I do also think the staff can be a bit more organized ( for example I ordered the half mozzarella half sausage and cashier didn't know what i meant by sausage but I used the terminology from their menu and also a mix up with my nephews order) but they were very nice. I ordered through Yelp. I ordered the Crispy Mild Wings, thinking they be mild buffalo sauce on the wings. They were plain with no sauce. The chicken was very crispy. I added my own hot sauce. Anyway next time I will order crispy hot wings or try another flavor. I will be back. read more

I love me some Korean fried chicken. Unfortunately I think there are way better places near by than this location. I did not have a great experience at this place for 2 reasons. First, we ordered the blue lemonade for my 5 yr old and when we received it, it was carbonated like a soda. I was surprised by this as I thought this was a juice and when I brought this up to the worker, I was told "if you would have asked I would have told you it is carbonated ". Why would I have asked if their LEMONADE is carbonated? The menu should have clearly stated this. I did give a star for them fixing the issue but refunding the drink once I gave it back to them and explained my family and I do not drink carbonated drinks. Second thing, is their wings are split between regular and Spivey. Unfortunately their "mild" was still spicy. My 5 yr old could not handle the heat and barely ate. Even their French fries have a kick. I personally like spicy but I just think their menu needs to be more clear. I won't come back. read more

Good Chicken makes the best darn chicken wings in Montclair. I ordered the crispy hot wings with the GC special sauce and a Tropical Mango Iced Tea with lychee jelly. It was so delicious and had me wanting more. The management and staff are wonderful and very helpful. The Cole Slaw isn't for everyone, and my only issue with it is that it was way too heavy on the mayo. I really wanted this to be good chicken because I've searched for decent fried chicken in the area (yes, add points to my BLACK card) while the other place in the neighborhood that I will remain nameless just does not cut it. Good chicken has come to fill the void. The crispy skin : meat ratio was perfect, not soft and mushy inside of a hot floury mess. The soy garlic sauce was savory with a hint of sweetness to it, coating the skin perfectly. The flavor lacked a little bit of kick for me but that is likely where I should venture into the dips or the other flavor options. Yet still delicious. The sizes of the drums and flats were perfect to hold and didn't feel pumped up. Good chicken actually had a pretty decent vibe, the staff was nice while reggaeton and hip hop played in the background. This adorable mom and pop shop might look like nothing and might have people worried but dont be. I knew that because of how small and adorable the store is that the food will be authentic and delicious! The adorable worker Jane was literally everything! She went above and beyond our expectations to help me and my girls on questions for the menu items. Love how they get it so crisp. The flavor of the soy garlic wings was savory and a touch sweet. The spicy packed some heat in a good way. Reminded me of our favorite neighborhood place in NYC.
