On leaving my comforter, I mentioned to the proprietor that the comforter was dry clean only. After I picked my comforter up and took it home, I found that it was completely ruined. Lee's Cleaners had washed it in the washing machine and dried it in the drier. When I took it back to Lee's Cleaners, the proprietor said he washed it in the washing machine even though it was dry clean only. He actually read the tag to me where it says dry clean only. He insisted that nothing was wrong with the comforter, and because it was polyester and made in China, it could be washed in the washing machine and dried in the dryer anyways. The fabric has lost its soft texture. The comforter is all wrinkled and because it is ruched, can't be fixed. Also, the inside of the comforter is all balled up and crooked. The proprietor of Lee's Cleaners was very rude, cursing at me and calling me crazy. He refused to reimburse me for my comfoter even though he did not follow the cleaning directions and clearly ruined my comforter. This cleaner is dishonest and does not take responsibility for his mistake.

The attendant immediately welcomed me and once I told her it was my first time, she walked me through the entire process from the different washing machine settings, to helping me load my card, to letting me know the dryers are free if you wash there as well. It was extremely clean and I was able to do 5 bags of laundry in an hour and some change. I would 100% go again! Large washers were $9+, medium was around $5+ and small was $3+. I hopped in the car & went to get them. On the way the girl called back & said they were just put into the wash. I asked her why they did that when I told her I was coming to get them. Then I asked how long until they were ready & I was told "one hour". I waited an hour & half to show up. When I arrived, it was the same girl as before. She didn't say hello or greet me at all. I requested my items & was told they were wet and in the dryer. The girl behind the desk was incredibly rude & I told her this. I told her I was disappointed in their professionalism & that she had been rude to me both times I'd been in. I requested my wet items out of the dryer & took my wet comforters and left. The people that come to these places are very humble and appreciate the service provided including myself but when it comes to getting a refund which is not entirely the customers fault due to machines not fully working properly. It would be nice to be seen as a person that appreciates the laundry. The person I talked to lacked the common courtesy and compassion that all human beings should naturally have. As a teacher and parent I believe kindness and compassion should always be taught at and early age. I guess some people learn differently. What I learned today was that not everyone is here to serve their higher purpose. But I'd like to thank Laundry Express for allowing me to use your facility. I trust that the one who own the facility appreciate the people who use the laundry mat and not take advantage of people who just needs to use the machines to clean and wash their clothes.

I don't know what laundromat the other reviewers went to, but it wasn't J&M. Maybe it was clean 9 months ago. However it was filthy a few days ago. Yuk! One of the worse I've seen in a long time. The bathroom was horrific it was so dirty. I think I could have caught a disease in there if I had used it. Thank God my mom taught me as a child to never sit on public toilets. ( that's for men too) Yes, it was well lit, but the floor, the washers the walls, the countertops were dusty. The machines were dirty too. The place was empty. There weren't an attendant there. Which remind me of why the woman sound as if she was in bed. She was at home in bed! It looked so abandoned from the parking lot, to the business itself. There is a disheveled Chevron gas station right next door. It isn't a safe place for a woman to be alone doing laundry. Thank goodness I wasn't alone. The prices are right with most prices to wash clothes in a coin laundry. I did' find it to be unreasonable. However, there weren't very many large washing machines to justify the price. I will never patronize this place again. Don't waste your time unless you down mind the secluded feeling and the filthy place. Also if anything goes wrong with the machines, there isn't anyone there to help you. I've forewarned you.
