Showed absolutely no remorse about it and only gave my mom a not even 50% refund after she was crying. The lady was also extremely rude about the situation. Additionally, when she called my mom to come look at the dress before preserving it, she gave no heads up about ruining it. These people are shady, immoral, and just horrible people. I took my friend to get our homecoming dresses altered and the seamstress not only body shamed me for "not filling out the dress" and it "fit my body horribly since I didn't have the figure for it" but told my friend her dress was flat out ugly and looked horrible on her. Not only were they disrespectful towards me and my friend, physically shaming me and her for what we looked liked, and overcharging; but outright refusing service because the dress we requested to be slightly altered was "ugly". We brought my daughter's wedding dress to Pushpa and her team for alterations. We bought the dress off the rack and although it fit fairly well, there was some detailed and delicate alterations needed for the back of the dress as well as adjusting the seams of the dress. While the cost was a little more than anticipated (I've never had a wedding dress altered!), there was detailed work needed. All that said, the dress was perfect! Being, what feels like, one of the few people still working through the pandemic it has been difficult to find vendors that will work with my hours. My hours have been extended and I have a good commute to get to work. So finding a place that would work with me was difficult. Sterling, just like everyone else modified their hours because of the pandemic. Their hours did not work for me and my current schedule. I called and spoke to a couple of people over the course of a few days. They came in early to accommodate me! I know that this was mutually beneficial, but it was also greatly appreciated by me. This is an amazing establishment! I called later Thursday in reference to a hem job on a brand new pair of BDU pants for work. He said they would be ready by Monday, but when he heard the hesitation in my voice he asked when I would need them by. I explained I would need them by Saturday because Monday I would need them for work. He told me to bring them first thing in the morning (Friday) and he would try to have them done by Saturday afternoon. I took them in and he measured me, he said due to a rush order they might not be able to press the pants for me, but he was SO apologetic. I hadn't even asked him to do that. I explained that was fine, I just needed them hemmed. So today I picked them up, they're perfect! They also were able to press the pants for me too!!! He did not over charge and didn't charge extra for a rush job. I have a dry cleaners right near my house, but I saw that this one had 4.8 stars on google. I said I'll try it and I'm so happy I did! The reviews at sterling cleaners speak for themselves but I wanted to take the time to give my thumbs up to Pat and Pushpa. I took three suits to get cleaned and a brand new suit that I needed to get fitted and hemmed and didn't want to bring it just anywhere. As soon as I got there he was very welcoming, and took the time to fit me exactly like I wanted while offering advice for my lack of knowledge in this area. He took great care of my clothes and gave me every indication that my clothes were in good hands. Upon getting my new suit back I was thrilled with the fit and the quality of the finish. The suits I took to get cleaned look amazing and I can't wait to wear them all.
