Plenty of food options nearby, too, if your wash cycle turns into lunch. Big washers are $5.00, dryers run you 25¢ for every 5 minutes. Bring quarters or hit the change machine--it's right near the vending machines. Bonus: they offer fluff & fold services. I used to love this when I lived in San Diego--there's something magical about getting your laundry back clean, folded, and ready to put away like you have your life together. This time around, I brought my GuppyFriend bag (because microplastic pollution is real), and asked the staff if the machines have built-in filters. The person on duty didn't know but said she'd ask the owner. Until then? Happy to have my own microplastic plan in place. Overall? Splish Splash Laundromat is clean, convenient, and worth the spin.

The attendant immediately welcomed me and once I told her it was my first time, she walked me through the entire process from the different washing machine settings, to helping me load my card, to letting me know the dryers are free if you wash there as well. It was extremely clean and I was able to do 5 bags of laundry in an hour and some change. I would 100% go again! Large washers were $9+, medium was around $5+ and small was $3+. Its basically located across the street from The Walker School off of hwy 41 (btw that was the old Sprayberry High School location back when Eisenhower was still President) It's next to the Quik Trip between Allgood and 41. There is a little hair salon next door to it but I didn't catch the name. As I said before this place has been part of the neighborhood fixture for at least 20 or more years that I know about. Its changed owners over the years but they have always kept a good shop. The parking is good but it is limited. I think I counted about 12 spaces so just be aware of this on a busy Saturday morning. The place is pretty clean and they have stainless steel front loaders that look to be 2-3 years old. They only take cash but there is an attendant that will break a big bill and they do have a couple of quarter machines. The machine prices are pretty reasonable $2 for double loaders $3 for triple loaders $4 for a four loader or what they call a maxi loader All dryers gives you 8 minutes per quarter which is quite generous. A lot of places around only gives you 6 minutes. Their dryers do get pretty hot so that is a good thing. The attendant that I assume owns the place is quite friendly and helpful. She said hi to me when I walked in and offer to help me if I needed anything. I did end up buying some hangers from her and after I went back the second time for more hangers she offered to give me a handful for free! Sweet! This is one of the nicest laundromats around and I plan to come back again next time I get backed up on my laundry...which is almost always...
