In the beginning of June, I used the Request a Quote feature on Yelp to get our home irrigation system all set up. This is our first summer in the new house, and naturally repairs were necessary for the sprinkler system. Teague was responsive, professional, and very easy to work with. Though I had to shell out some $$ for parts, he was very transparent about what was needed and ended up giving me a slight discount on his labor and time. He turned on the water supply in the crawl space, installed new parts in the front of my house, set up the timers on the sprinkler system, and even installed a few new parts to make sure all zones of my front and backyards were being watered properly. Our grass was looking Rough with a capital R when he visited. And now our yard is thriving in the heat of summer. Thank you Teague for all your hard work and expertise!

https://irrigationgenies.com…read more We have a rental property - from the 1950s - just south of the Central Park neighborhood with a sprinkler system likely from the 1980s. Weeks ago, we got it running by having our trustworthy regular sprinkler man replace the controller and troubleshoot a few sprinkler heads. To our surprise, it worked. That is, until we received several notifications from Aurora Water that we were using tremendous amounts of water. We got our regular guy back to the house, but he couldn't find any apparent leaks. He also couldn't find the second (backyard) valve box. It's a pretty big backyard. So, I started to trace the front yard valve box wire to the second valve box by digging it up. It quickly became apparent, it was the equivalent of finding the Titanic unless I wanted to spend days, perhaps weeks, searching for the elusive valve box. I contacted our regular guy again, who many of you know and appreciate, and he referred me to Irrigation Genies. They specialize in sprinkler systems of all types. They also specialize in complex sprinkler issues including locating lost valve boxes and leak detection. I emailed the company and Chris Cortez, the owner, sent back a message with a few possible underlying scenarios...and the various costs to fix them. I shared as much pertinent information that I could and scheduled an appointment date, yesterday, 7/25. Chris showed up on time and got right to work. It took about 45 minutes or so to locate the buried valve box with an electronic device. He noted each of the 3 backyard valves were ancient and 1 was broken, leaking. Chris spent about 6 hours in tremendously hot conditions, and replaced all 3 valves so we wouldn't revisit that problem any time soon. Chris was methodical, professional and friendly. Considering the amount of work he completed and the complexity of the problem, he absolutely nailed it. I cannot praise him enough. He worked in a stepwise manner, located the mysteriously hidden valve box, fixed the problem - and more - and did it with an A+ attitude. If you don't already have a sprinkler company, I highly recommend Irrigation Genies and Chris Cortez. Otherwise, if you have a complicated sprinkler problem, call him today. I am incredibly thankful and impressed by Chris, the work he performed, his manner, attitude and professionalism. I think you will be too!

Nate was a pleasure to work with. It can be so hard to find effective, honest, available, nice, and…read morewell-priced contractors. Nate fit the bill. He helped us fix our sprinkler system after a different company messed up the winterization causing our pipes to burst. He also helped to fix the overall system and rewire it (also messed up previously). He spent a long time with us on a Sunday afternoon making sure it was all done right and working well. He charged per item fixed, not hourly, and without a show fee so I thought the end price was more than fair without hidden costs. And the whole time he was here he had a smile on his face. We look forward to calling Nate for all our sprinkler needs moving forward!

I don't even know where to begin! Bottoms Up Construction is absolutely awesome! Our neighbor…read morereferred us to them and thank goodness he did! You know how it is when you're searching for someone honest to work with, well we lucked out and found Casey and Mike! I have become handicapped to where I cannot climb our stairs and our son-in-law and my husband came up with an idea to add a walk-in shower in our half bath downstairs for me. The project management was excellent! Casey oversaw everything and was here every day along with Mike working hard. Casey arranged the plumber and the electrician who were also awesome, and the work was done on schedule. Because I am handicapped all of them were very accommodating for my needs (see the black tarp up for my privacy picture) because this is the only bathroom I have available to me. The project was done in a timely manner, and I must say it was perfect and better than expected! The pictures I have included are of the wall before they knocked it out for the shower project and the finished shower fully handicapped. They also made it possible for anyone to take a shower standing up in it also! If you want someone for your construction needs that is honest, hard-working, and gets the job done definitely call Bottoms Up Construction! We will always be a customer in the future and would recommend them highly! If you would like to talk to me further, you can contact me through Bottoms Up Construction. Teresa & Buddy

When you have a busted head and water is shooting everywhere, you want someone there yesterday, not next Tuesday. The price was reasonable, though, I'll give them that. The technician knew what he was doing and got the head fixed pretty quickly once he arrived. What I appreciated was that he also took the time to adjust my Rachio controller settings without me even asking. That was a nice touch since most irrigation guys fix the immediate problem and bolt. The work itself was solid - no complaints there. The new head is working perfectly and hasn't given me any issues since. It's just that initial response time that knocked them down from what could've been a 4-star experience. Would I call them again? Probably, but I'd plan next time instead of treating it like an emergency. If you're not in a rush and want decent work at a fair price, they'll get the job done.
