I hired Rafael and his business partner for a full landscaping for my property--desert landscape…read morefront yard, pavers throughout entire property, and a 16' long raised planter. Overall, I am happy with Rafael but was disappointed with his then, currently ex, business partner. About 90% of the way through the project, Rafael's then business partner took the funds and essentially disappeared on him (moving out of state without notice to him or me). But as a testament to Rafael's integrity, he still completed the job on his own to honor our agreement. Rafael is diligent and takes his craft seriously. He now does everything between just his brother Juan and himself, which is why he does require a longer timeline to complete projects than with larger companies. If you're not in a great big hurry and want a dedicated landscaper who takes his craft very seriously, pays attention to the small details you've requested, makes helpful and often money saving or headache avoiding suggestions, who communicates frequently and shows up as promised, then you won't be disappointed. And Rafael will beat any other bids you have.
