In my opinion Gong Cha is one of the best Bubble tea chains. This location is convenient , staff was friendly and my sparkling mango tea with lychee jelly was fantastic!

Gong Cha is pretty standard at every location. Always clean, always fairly quick and always delicious. Thai tea with coconut jelly, and Creme Brulee Brown Sugar milk tea with coconut jelly. Always hits the spot!

Nice little store, take out mainly. There are couple of tables in the store. Its very neat and clean, with some nice decorative items and a big frame regarding the history of Gong Cha. We visit this store whenever we come to Pal park for lunch. The service is good, order comes out within minutes. They also use Five Star, so we get rewards and points every time we buy drinks from here. Its $5 discount after spending $50. I usually get their milk tea with bubbles. They maintain the unique and flavorful taste of the tea and fresh chewiness of the boba.

Strawberry milk tea. This is sooo good!

This establishment is a smaller in size than most bubble tea places around the area. Naturally it has less seating but, service is fast. Milk tea is always tasty and the bubbles are soft & chewly throughout. Took a star off due to limitations on seating and parking can be slightly hard to find. (Meter parking). Also, meters no longer take cc for payment so you must have change (quarters) to not get a parking ticket

Best boba shop in Pal Park, especially now that Vivi has closed. Can be a little busy as times. With only two on staff, there's always a short wait. If you have a large, it's best to order ahead for pickup. They are also available for delivery on the usual apps like Uber Eats, GH, and DoorDash.

One of my favorite Gong Cha locations. Staff is very friendly and the service is efficient. We like to come here after dining at nearby restaurants.

The tea is such good quality! It doesn't taste like just a sugary drink. The jellies were great too, and obviously so adorable. Not all branches have the star or heart shaped jellies, so if you want to try that, ask before you order!

I've always loved gong cha and I'm so glad there's a location that's so accessible to me now. We ordered a taro slush and an earl grey milk tea with white pearls and grass jelly. Although both were 50% sugar, the slush was way sweeter than the milk tea. The taro slush also tasted a little bit on the artificial side, but I loved my earl grey milk tea. I was worried that they'd get the order wrong because I have had that experience at another gong cha, but everything tasted as it should with the correct toppings.

Gong Cha was great! I love how you can pick your sugar level and what types of boba you want. Wish I found this place sooner!

Cashier girl was conniving and trifling. I took off toppings from my drink after realizing I was $0.13 cents short. I didn't want to NOT pay for it or get her in trouble for adding toppings on something I hadn't paid for. She refused to give me change with the new total of $5.50 and told me after taxes, she doesn't owe me much anyway. What kind of training/manners was she taught in life? I've never heard of such justification. I waited for the last customers behind me to pass and asked her to recalculate my total on a POS without ringing me up. She realizes her mistake and passes my change without an apology. Unacceptable. I don't care about my 50 cents, it's the fact you treated me like a fool instead of apologizing and owning up to your mistake (which happens). I'm gonna go down the extra few blocks for other bubble tea in the area. This experience has left an awful taste in my mouth that no compensation from Gong Cha can alleviate.

Boba, boba, boba, boba, boba... why, oh why... am I willing to spend ~$7-$9 on one drink that may…read moreor may not be good? Because I'm addicted. Moge Tee is an international bubble tea brand founded in China. They specialize in "new-style" drinks that are made with high quality ingredients like: -freshly brewed loose leaf teas (no powdered mixes) -real milk (no creamer) -hand picked fruits (no artificial syrups) -house made toppings like cheese foam The menu is extensive and has a mix of classic and creative/artisanal drinks - milk teas, fruit teas, brewed teas, matcha, etc. You can adjust the sugar and ice levels to your liking. I remember trying the cheese foam tea at this location (Fort Lee) when they first opened ~ 6 years ago and I wasn't a huge fan. I recently decided to give it another go. This time I ordered the Super Fruit Green Tea (~$8). I took the first sip and I knew I wasn't going to finish it. Not sure if the drink wasn't mixed properly, but it didn't taste balanced at all. The flavors were all over the place and every sip was something different - bitter, overwhelmingly sour, or sweet/syrupy. Bleh. Didn't taste like a refreshing fruit tea. The tapioca pearls were good - soft and chewy. Props to them for using real slices of fruit in the drink. The interior is super cute and "Instagram-worthy". It's spacious with plenty of seating. There's animal plushies, neon signage, a green wall, and claw games. Snap your photos away! Service was quick on a late weeknight, but the lack of customer interaction was off-putting. Call me old-fashioned, but I can't stand it when I walk into a business and employees stare at you and give off the "just order on the kiosks because I don't want to interact" type of vibe. Would it hurt ya to at least greet a customer? This could've been an "I ordered the wrong drink" situation. Or not.

After lunch, I was craving some bubble tea. A lot of spots in the area are either bad chains, or…read moredessert places serving overly sweet, powdered bubble tea. I found Moge Tee, which looked legit and I remember trying their Midtown West location (which is now closed) and it was decent. I ordered on the kiosk in the store. After 10 minutes of waiting (with no one else waiting on a drink), my two drinks still weren't ready. Turns out the order didn't go through, which was a tad annoying. But the staff was very accommodating and expedited the drinks. I had the matcha with tofu pudding and my husband had the taro with regular pudding. I don't think these specific drinks had a customizable sugar level but I wish there was because they were a little too sweet. Both drinks were just okay (probably due to the sweetness level) but the toppings were good. It came out to $21 for two drinks, so pretty expensive - but it seems like that is the minimum for real bubble tea nowadays.

I got my usual matcha soft serve on a cone and it came in a huge swirl on a waffle cone. The ice cream had a strong matcha flavor and was creamy and fluffy. I will say I had this at 9:30 pm and couldn't sleep due to the strength of the matcha but that goes to show that they really put a good amount! A great place to have some quick dessert in Fort Lee!

It turned out the red bean was spoiled, so I had to go back and ask them to remake the drink without it. This time, on 12/27 around 5:30 PM, I ordered a hojicha latte. After placing my order, I noticed there was a free size upgrade promotion running throughout December, so I asked if my drink could be upgraded. The staff member said no, explaining that it had to be done while ordering for the promotion to apply. That excuse felt very lame and honestly came across as laziness, especially since it was a free upgrade and could have easily been accommodated. At another Maiko location (Garden State Plaza), the staff proactively informed me about the promotion and asked if I wanted the upgrade, which is what I would expect. Unfortunately, the Fort Lee location didn't offer the same experience. Even after I asked, it felt like I was given weak excuses rather than a genuine effort to help. On top of that, the hojicha latte here was overly milky. I've had the same drink at other Maiko locations where it tasted much nuttier and more balanced, so this was disappointing. I really love Maiko overall, but based on these experiences, I wouldn't visit the Fort Lee location again.
