Little Star Passion Fruit Green Tea (i think lol)
    Joyce K.

all my experiences with this gong cha have been consistently pleasant and i'm never left unsatisfied! I usually get the fruity teas over the milk teas and i'm especially a big fan of the lemon/ grapefruit ai-yu with white pearls and the lemon winter melon with basil seeds (haven't had this particular drink at this specific location yet tho). I usually get light ice and 30% sugar. I haven't tried 100% sugar so I can't say how stark the difference in levels are but for me personally, the 30% has been a perfect level for these drinks. this location is usually pretty empty whenever i go so the drinks come out relatively quick. you can't sit down and hang out anymore. it's now a very small space but i'm fine with just grabbing my drink and walking around the area

Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Location: it is located in Fort Lee, there are few seatings inside but better to order and go. It will satisfy your bubble tea craving! Service: I just ordered and go, no interaction. Food: I almost taste all the flavors but my favorites are: TARO: as always this is good! Taro with bubbles is great! THAI ICED TEA: this one is good too! Thai experience! EARL GREY with 3 J's: this is one of my fave because it has 3 jellies on it! DIRTY BROWN SUGAR: one of the newest flavors! It is good because not your usual sugar! STRAWBERRY TARO: good too, make sure only 30% sugar because it might be sweet. COFFEE MILK TEA: good, taste more tea than coffee! Price rating: 4 out of 10. It is so cheap! Well all recommended! But personally love the taro and earl grey with 3Js.

Nice big store, with pretty decoration. They have exactly four chairs, 6ft apart to sit. The menu is standard, and the drinks were very well made, as usual. Pearls were soft and chewy. We had a hard time locating the store, maybe putting some glittery sign would make it easier.

Strawberry Milk Slush - Don't order this.

This location is super confusing to find and take a bit longer than I would like when it comes to ordering a boba to go. After arriving to the location the google maps outlined, we were directed to a door that had a sign that stated to go to the other side of where the cosmos cosmetic store is. Once you find the store, you go up to the counter and customize your drink. It seems like gongcha is known for their dirty brown sugar bubble teas and I highly recommend if you were to get a drink here, it be that one. I ordered a strawberry milk slush and it was beyond mediocre. Watery, tasting of artificial strawberry flavor that costs me nearly $6 -$7 for the smaller size. Bubbles tasted a little overcooked and when I asked if an iced drink could be made into a slushie, the answer was a hard no. That's one thing I don't understand when it comes to bubble tea places, all you have to do is blend it with ice. While gongcha allows you to customize drinks, for the price and quality, I'd prefer to go to my go to local joint or a Kungfu tea.

    Lychee Oolong tea

I ordered the lychee tea with bubble for a dairy-free bubble tea option. I did enjoy the unique fruitiness of the tea, but I prefer the milk tea options.

Oolong milk tea + herbal jelly 70% sugar, still too sweet for me but soooo good!

Yes was so good, the oolong tea with herbal jelly. I plan to go back but is it just me thinking how is a tea drink $7!! I don't make enough to be drinking tea everyday for sure lol

GONG CHA CAN TAKE ALL MY MONEY LOL Ok no exaggeration, I have been obsessed with Gong Cha for a couple months now ever since I first tried it! Of all the bubble tea shops I have tried in NJ, NY, PA, and a could portion of the east coast I can firmly say Gong Cha is the best in my humble opinion. I tend to go for a minimum of once a week for my weekly Mango Milk Tea with Tapioca fix and it's safe to say my family is just as obsessed with Gong Cha as I am LOL. Other boba shops don't tend to offer dairy free milk for their milk tea bubble teas and this is the main reason why I love Gong Cha SO much! My family and I have cut drinking dairy milk for a year now and find it hard to find places that offer daily free options, great taste, and great tapioca. To me Gong Cha's Mango Milk Tea is the definition of perfection and I am always happy with the customer service at all Locations u have been to! 1000/5 recommend to anyone!

You can never go wrong with gongcha. We went in without realizing they were closing in 10 minutes but the cashier was very generous and even helped with choosing what to order!

It was amazingg!! definitely get grapefruit aiyu with white pearl so good i would get it again next time. The order was so quick, too. My favorite bubble tea place :)

Another gong cha review! What can i say, gong cha never disappoints. The location is great but parking can be tough with street meter parking along the block. But if you can get a spot, this is the perfect hang out spot with good bubble tea and lots of space to chat or play games. The space is clean and spacious- chic cute interior with lots of tables and seats for different parties. They also have a variety of games for customers! Boba is the same as its other locations- excellent variety and good quality! They share the same rewards program as its Hoboken and Montclair locations fyi!

Milk tea & QQ Passion Fruit Green Tea

Tried out this location few times and really wanted to give a higher rating but, with regret I rate them at 3 stars. Like any new establishment, time is the true test in showing quality of product & service. Few times before today's visit, things were fine. Service was good and drinks were tasty. Only down side to previous visits were that some bubbles were slightly hard in the center. Today, we ordered Grapefruit Ai-Yu /white bubbles & milk tea. Had a terrible experience with the server & the drink that came out. I asked for a drink with no sugar (0%) then they serve me a super sweet drink. When I went up to the counter to see if there was a mistake, I was told grapefruit drinks are made with Grapefruit Syrup and not real grapefruit ‍. I just asked for a non sweet drink and on top of that ordered 0% sugar??? How are you telling me now that it's made with syrup so it's a sweet drink??? I didn't get upset and kept my composure. She looked at me and just stood there... then walked away. No exchange offered smh... litterally had to dispose the drink without being able to drink it. Dirty brown sugar was tasty but, was perplexed about the bubbles. Some were chewy & soft and others were hard in the center & not good at all. Truly disappointed since Gong Cha was one of my favorites. Not looking to return to this location any time soon.

Moge Tee is an international bubble tea brand founded in China. They specialize in "new-style" drinks that are made with high quality ingredients like: -freshly brewed loose leaf teas (no powdered mixes) -real milk (no creamer) -hand picked fruits (no artificial syrups) -house made toppings like cheese foam The menu is extensive and has a mix of classic and creative/artisanal drinks - milk teas, fruit teas, brewed teas, matcha, etc. You can adjust the sugar and ice levels to your liking. I remember trying the cheese foam tea at this location (Fort Lee) when they first opened ~ 6 years ago and I wasn't a huge fan. I recently decided to give it another go. This time I ordered the Super Fruit Green Tea (~$8). I took the first sip and I knew I wasn't going to finish it. Not sure if the drink wasn't mixed properly, but it didn't taste balanced at all. The flavors were all over the place and every sip was something different - bitter, overwhelmingly sour, or sweet/syrupy. Bleh. Didn't taste like a refreshing fruit tea. The tapioca pearls were good - soft and chewy. Props to them for using real slices of fruit in the drink. The interior is super cute and "Instagram-worthy". It's spacious with plenty of seating. There's animal plushies, neon signage, a green wall, and claw games. Snap your photos away! Service was quick on a late weeknight, but the lack of customer interaction was off-putting. Call me old-fashioned, but I can't stand it when I walk into a business and employees stare at you and give off the "just order on the kiosks because I don't want to interact" type of vibe. Would it hurt ya to at least greet a customer? This could've been an "I ordered the wrong drink" situation. Or not.

I found Moge Tee, which looked legit and I remember trying their Midtown West location (which is now closed) and it was decent. I ordered on the kiosk in the store. After 10 minutes of waiting (with no one else waiting on a drink), my two drinks still weren't ready. Turns out the order didn't go through, which was a tad annoying. But the staff was very accommodating and expedited the drinks. I had the matcha with tofu pudding and my husband had the taro with regular pudding. I don't think these specific drinks had a customizable sugar level but I wish there was because they were a little too sweet. Both drinks were just okay (probably due to the sweetness level) but the toppings were good. It came out to $21 for two drinks, so pretty expensive - but it seems like that is the minimum for real bubble tea nowadays.

It turned out the red bean was spoiled, so I had to go back and ask them to remake the drink without it. This time, on 12/27 around 5:30 PM, I ordered a hojicha latte. After placing my order, I noticed there was a free size upgrade promotion running throughout December, so I asked if my drink could be upgraded. The staff member said no, explaining that it had to be done while ordering for the promotion to apply. That excuse felt very lame and honestly came across as laziness, especially since it was a free upgrade and could have easily been accommodated. At another Maiko location (Garden State Plaza), the staff proactively informed me about the promotion and asked if I wanted the upgrade, which is what I would expect. Unfortunately, the Fort Lee location didn't offer the same experience. Even after I asked, it felt like I was given weak excuses rather than a genuine effort to help. On top of that, the hojicha latte here was overly milky. I've had the same drink at other Maiko locations where it tasted much nuttier and more balanced, so this was disappointing. I really love Maiko overall, but based on these experiences, I wouldn't visit the Fort Lee location again.

While the menu is more expansive towards coffees, and drinks, accompanied by the usual suspects of desserts, they have two unusual items that drew my attention. First is the CROFFLE: Short for Croissant-Waffle. I didn't think anything of it but I was forced to buy it because they ran out of regular croissants. I was reluctant but she convinced me to try it! I don't get easily surprised but this homemade pastry is TO DIE FOR! It literally tastes like a croissant because it is made out of croissant dough but cooked like a waffle. This gives the crunchy effect of a waffle on the outside combined with a chewy inside that is made to order in a few minutes! You have a selection of eight sweet and three savory flavors to choose from but I like the plain with butter and may be some preserves, just like a warm flaky croissant. The second is the taiyaki in Japanese or boong-uh-bbang in Korean literally means goldfish bread because it is made in the shape of a large goldfish. It is a little expensive, especially the goldfish bread ($4/piece; minimum of 4/order, so $16), but well worth the flavor explosion! This mini-cafe/desert place is a jewel and a find among the industrial giants that punch out the same -old, same-old and I recommend it highly, especially for the "Croffle" and the "Goldfish Bread!"

We ordered takeout for dinner: Toowoomba Shrimp Pasta with Tonkatsu and the Spicy Original Tteokbokki (rice cakes) with Fried Kim-ma-ri (fried seaweed rolls). The shrimp pasta had good flavor but the portion was way too tiny. After only three or four bites, it was gone. There were about 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire dish and they could've added more pasta, given that it's not an expensive ingredient. The tonkatsu was also underwhelming. It was a small piece served in a large container that made the portion size look even more skimpy. I was also disappointed in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce with no egg and only a few pieces of fish cake, again served in a container that was far too large for the amount of food provided. The kim-ma-ri pieces were fine but also very small. Overall, the meal was underwhelming. For a total cost of nearly $50, the quantities were just way too small. We were left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry.
