Gone Rogue Restaurant is such a gem. It's a small, family-style spot with great food and a fun, relaxed vibe. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the atmosphere made it easy to settle in and enjoy the night. The games were a fun bonus and made it feel extra welcoming. We loved it so much that we came back two nights in a row after a day of skiing with our grown kids--which says a lot. Perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain. Excellent food and service. A good variety of food options - mainly sandwiches and burgers, catfish, appetizers, and salads. Order at the register and food is delivered to your table. The catfish is very good. And the dish UNAPHILLYATED (Philly cheesesteak type sandwich) was very tasty. The crispy peppers were really good! read more

Take my review in relation to all the places I've eaten or reviewed. Four stars should be considered very good. I'm glad to see Gone Rouge in South Fork. I've eaten their catfish (Good Day Fishing), catfish and chicken strips (Bad Day Fishing), their "most extreme" salad - can't remember the name, but it has pico, crispy chicken, pork belly chorizo and Gorgonzola. All were very good. The iced tea today was extra good because I want to taste the tea, not some weak concoction. My wife had one of the chicken "sammies" and she enjoyed it. I personally think the salads are the best deal, but all the food is good. I wish they had some "regular" bbq sauce for chicken strips, but the have "gold bbq" which is like an east coast bbq sauce with mustard. I can survive on that if I have to. Their poblano tartar sauce is very good also. This is an "order at the counter and clean your table" establishment, but that's okay for this size place. It works well and keeps the prices reasonable. They bring the food to you and service is prompt, even when busy. They are friendly and accommodating. read more

We shared the pork and beans soup with pickled red onions, and followed with The Ellwood and The Purgatory with grilled chicken. Everything was delicious! The couple who run this are so delightful. my partner had a grilled chicken sandwich and raved about that. We were also talked into cheesecake which was way off my norm but so glad we did. My husband and I went to Gone Rogue for dinner two nights in a row. The catfish is very good; nice thin batter with lots of flavor, chicken fingers were excellent, the hamburgers are very juicy and tasty. Candace and her husband own and work here. We stopped on our way through town on a road trip and it was the best decision. The staff was very friendly and we loved the free games they had in the front room. We ordered the Burgatory, the super loaded nachos one of the chicken sandwiches. Everything was amazing, so hot/fresh and flavorful. Great place to stop on the road! Food & service outstanding. Hubby got Cheesy Bacon burger with rings & I had the Burgatory with waffle fries. Excellent burgers! We ate on the patio with our pup! Delicious!! Went with 2 friends. One had Polish special with pork tenderloin, sauerkraut and potatoes, other has a hamburger and fries; I had a cheese steak with mushrooms in balsamic vinegar and fried Jalapenos. Everything was delicious. Candy was very nice. Look forward to going again. They are remodeling the front part of building into a marketplace. We were here twice during our 18 day stay in South Fork, CO. Our first visit was on our first night in town because the Yelp! reviews were so good. Lucky for us it was a Thursday night because they have a special dish every Thursday. That night it was pork with a green curry sauce and roasted potatoes with a yellow curry sauce. It was so good I had to refrain from licking my plate! Our second visit, my husband had the two catfish filets and I had the catfish sandwich on a Brioche roll. We both raved about our meal! Even though you order at the Hostess stand and pick up your own utensils on the way to your table, both nights the hostess stopped by our table multiple times to see if we needed anything. (You also bus your own table.) The building is large and airy, with a large patio, as well. A retail space is being added in the space before reaching the restaurant. It will be interesting to see what is in that space next time we are in the area. read more
