Ed , the owner of Goman's Moving, SAVED THE DAY when MAYPAN bailed on us. I called him 3 days before the move very upset, and he told me to give him a little time and he would figure it out for us. He called me back and arranged for a crew, headed by Ed Tabler, Superior Transfer, who came on Wednesday to start the move. They continued moving me for 4 days with professionalism, kindness, humor and patience in spite of the heat and heavy furniture. They were a group of nice, strong young men who were considerate of our needs and situation.They did not waste time and kept loading and unloading and were very careful with all our belongings. The workers were excellent and efficient. My concern is the company. Still waiting for owner to call me back. I was quoted $90 per hour---and that it would probably take less than 2 hours ($180 tops). When I got the invoice $45 was added for travel. Not only did the job take 'less' than 2 hrs. it included the drive from point a to point b. Under 2 hours. But it wound up costing $225??? Didn't make sense. I was NOT told about any additional fees. I'm not happy with that. I left a message for the owner to call and haven't heard back. I don't like surprises like this one. Again, the stars are for the workers (Mario and Jimmy)--they get 5 starts, but Dan (owner) and the company are not getting any at the moment. Hopefully he will call and rectify this situation. read more

Goman's was very nice to deal with when we hired them until I got my bill after the move that was inflated and found my furniture was damaged and they didn't want to deal with fixing it or being responsible for it through their insurance. Also we were told we would have four people helping the day of the move and three showed up and when you are being charged by the hour with one less person it wound up cost me more money because the move took longer. I would not recommend hiring GoMans for your move. read more
