Each hole is unique and challenging. The course is cut out of the woods so there no homes. There are some cabins you can stay in that are fully furnished. This was intimidating for me, as I am not very confident in my golf game. However, Brady Stapp put me at ease immediately. He has a way of teaching that gives you confidence. I learned more in my first hour session with Brady than I have in my entire adult life about golf. First we worked on my swing, we spent the entire first lesson on this aspect. Day 2 we reminded ourselves of day one and then worked on the short game. Once again, mind blowing how much I learned from Brady in such a short time. I am disappointed in myself for not getting in to see Brady sooner. We have since moved back to North Carolina. However, I will take these learning with me and keep moving forward. Thank you Brady!

I practiced between lessons and had the instructor review my practice to ensure I was on track. Their simulators show inaccurate ball flight, the ball lies are on flat turf, and putting area is small and flat - Nothing close to actual course I asked to schedule a lesson on the course which they kept agreeing to but never did despite my reminders. Now granted, I am now 56 and a couple pounds heavier (LOL on the couple), but need to get my swing back right. Investigated Golftec....with all the new technology out there, thought I would give it a try. Working with Jon Crowe, he not only can show me in still frame my entire golf swing, but gives me training drills to work on at the range and at home. I am scoring back in the mid 80's, and having fun. Not ready for the Champions Tour, but, I keep working on it!!!

I only interacted with the gentleman in the pro shop. He was friendly and liked how he instructed my son how to get the range balls, not me. I loved how lively this place was. There were SO MANY "old timers" out and about here. Luckily, they were friendly old timers, not snooty rude ones like some of the members of the country club I worked at like 20 years ago. The driving range, putting and chipping greens were nice. Carts were awesome. Super quiet. GPS touch screen. AND only $20! (Most courses we went to this summer were at least $27.) As for the course, I think this was one of the best ones we have seen all summer. Fairways and greens were well taken care of. My son had a couple challenging holes but hey, that's golf. We recommend.
