The course management was unbearable too. We kept up with the group in front of us all day, but after hole 6 the Marshall felt like telling us we were behind. When we mentioned we were keeping up with the group in front of us, he said they were on time. Upon reaching the 7th tee, the group in front of us was still in the fairway so we waited some more. But we were behind! We were significantly over charged to play an awful course with awful management. I'm begging you not to spend your money here until they get it together... if they ever do.

Thanks to his guidance, I'm now making much more consistent contact with my irons, and he's helped me fix my nasty slices off the tee. I learned more in my first hour session with Brady than I have in my entire adult life about golf. First we worked on my swing, we spent the entire first lesson on this aspect. Day 2 we reminded ourselves of day one and then worked on the short game. Once again, mind blowing how much I learned from Brady in such a short time. It was our first time there, too. We are pretty avid golfers. Check in process: didn't take too long. Older gentleman at the counter was nice. I was not aware that the clubhouse was under construction so there was a lot of construction going on with noise and mud all over. Pretty annoyed already as a start. There's no mention of this on their website either. Driving range: it's about a 4-5 min drive by golf cart from the "temporary" clubhouse. Once arrived, you have to head over to a self dispensing ball machine to collect your balls. This was not very clear or given to us as instructions at check in so we wasted about 10 mins trying to find out where to get balls from. Hitting from mats since it had rained the past few days. Mats were decent. There's a couple of distance markers out there as well. The course: we played Cypresswood course which was the lower priced one at $72 per person. The course design itself is elegant and isolated away from homes which is a nice touch. However, those greens were absolute horrific. For the price I paid, those greens should be nicely kept up with. There's no reason why they should have patches, dry spots, and grainy grass in them. This is very upsetting as it makes the game of golf certainly more challenging but doesn't make for a fun experience. This course definitely needs more maintenance if I'm going to be paying over $70 to play 18 holes here. About 3-4 holes out of 18 were in great condition, other ones were terrible. We never saw the cart girl. There are no restroom stalls in the course or even porta potty's, you have to go back to the clubhouse to use restroom which is a pain in the arse. The pace of the game was also very slow and ended up pairing with a twosome behind us. It took well over 5 hours to play 18 holes. Ridiculous. I think this course has a lot of upside potential. I don't think I'll be returning until the new clubhouse and construction is done which they claim should end towards end of summer this year. The layout of the course was nice and very scenic but greens were awful.

I went in there today around 1 PM, I picked out my new putter grip. I was ready to check out and get my putter regripped. When finally acknowledged he says oh you need to regret your putter. Oh, give me two minutes. I'll get it done. Is it to say go look around come right back I'll have your putter done. I come back my putter sitting on the counter with the grip. Nothing has been done and the same individual is re-gripping other drivers for customers that came up there after me. Keep in mind there were no customers there when I came up the first time. Then I come up there there's 10 customers there. So now I'm behind all of those customers because because the individual didn't acknowledge me told me he was gonna regrip it needs two minutes. And the crazy thing is it was a younger lady and he's obviously an older man who's I would think want to set an example for the younger employee. The example is don't acknowledge customers. Tell him you're gonna do something and don't do it. I mean, I'm sure they were what they were solving world hunger at that computer screen. This world is going to shit. I guess I know why they have two stars. Unbelievable something could've taken four minutes. Five minutes hell 10 minutes. Instead, I had to leave because I did not want to cause a scene. Total bullshit. I don't know who's running this joint, but they're not good at it.
