I went in there today around 1 PM, I picked out my new putter grip. I stood in front of the only two people working behind the counter for two solid minutes before they even acknowledged that I was there. Keep in mind I'm 6'5 330, no Chance they didn't see me. One of them was looking up something on the computer. The other one was helping him so I waited patiently for two solid minutes.. I was ready to check out and get my putter regripped. When finally acknowledged he says oh you need to regret your putter. Oh, give me two minutes. I'll get it done. Is it to say go look around come right back I'll have your putter done. I come back my putter sitting on the counter with the grip. Nothing has been done and the same individual is re-gripping other drivers for customers that came up there after me. Keep in mind there were no customers there when I came up the first time. Then I come up there there's 10 customers there. So now I'm behind all of those customers because because the individual didn't acknowledge me told me he was gonna regrip it needs two minutes. And the crazy thing is it was a younger lady and he's obviously an older man who's I would think want to set an example for the younger employee. The example is don't acknowledge customers. Tell him you're gonna do something and don't do it. I mean, I'm sure they were what they were solving world hunger at that computer screen. This world is going to shit. I guess I know why they have two stars. Unbelievable something could've taken four minutes. Five minutes hell 10 minutes. Instead, I had to leave because I did not want to cause a scene. Rude staff No visible management.present. I went to buy my 11 year old grandson a new set of clubs. No help wanted to serve me.

I was going to be the easiest money they ever collected. I went in to buy either a 52 or 56 degree wedge. Alone, found the 2 I wanted. Had to go find someone to set up a station. All he did was get me a small bucket of balls. Then, it logged 2 hits, then quit logging. I found another person, he actually told me there was a glitch, reset, hit 1 ball, it logged, hit another, did not log...did he hang around to see...NOPE...I left both of the wedges there, walked out, 5 mins later at the PGA Superstore right down the road. Same 2 wedges, but had someone there to chat with, make sure I was happy, etc... It wasn't but 129 bucks, but guess that wanted it way more than Golf Galaxy. read more

Woodlands Tx location, Staff is rude. Not friendly, not smiling, not helpful. Went in to get a club repair at 9:15, store open but not busy. First guy, doesn't say good morning, just tells us to go to the other counter. Then tells us the guy we need isn't up front, he'll call him. Another old guy comes up front and we think he's the guy, ask him...he gives us a rude, go to hell look, says nothing and walks away. Finally, a lady calls the guy we need and he's coming. He's rude. He looks at the club, well what do you want. No common courtesy, our customer service.. 'would you like the same style shaft, we have two in stock or let me check'. Instead he walks around grimacing. Finally my husband says yea that's fine, after being given no options. He finally remembers he's in customer service, and tells us when it will be ready and gives us the ticket to pay. Girl at the counter, asks if we have the credit card but never asks if we found everything we need. No smile, not friendly. Seriously you are in customer service, got a grip on your staff. There are other Golf stores, because I come here, you have a job. read more

Played golf and hit another player driver and wanted to purchase this exact driver. He told me it was purchased at PGA Superstore , so after the round I went to the PGA store which didn't have it in with the degree ( 10.5 ) I wanted , but did have it in stock at the Katy location. So driving home I stopped at the Galaxy Golf located near the Woodlands and they had the exact driver in stock. I take it to the counter and wanted the sales associate to match a published price which he declined to do. I am a customer of this firm at another location. My rub is this company runs national ads on price matching and did not honor there ad. I had a picture of the stated price and the SKU number he could of called the competitor to verify the price . They sales associates were to busy visiting with each other to help me. Went to Katy and purchased it from PGA Store Won't be going back to that location. Went there today and purchased a TaylorMade 3 wood. Traded in my M5 TaylorMade 3 wood for a SIM 3 wood. The clerk just taped up the head. I asked for a bay to try out the club, indicating my interest to purchase, but he just walked away telling me to meet him at the cash register. Was it his lunch time? His lack of interest in me and what I wanted almost made me chuck the club, but it was a SIM 3 wood. He also asked me for my address at the point of sale. When I gave it to him, he asked if it was a house. WTF! Are you delivering? Did my card not go through? Impertinent! I will not be returning to this location. This is the greatest golf store I have ever been in.The GM and his managers and staff are the best there is.I have been shopping here before and since the change in ownership and I was elated when the new owners kept the original staff.The GM and his staff are the most courteous and knowledgeable I have found anywhere.I have been fit for every club in my bag and have always been way above satisfied with the results.I would not buy anything anywhere else and although I usually never recommend a place this store is an exception.This is the ONLY place to go for all your golf needs!!!!THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!!!!!! read more
