Do NOT make an online order with Scheels... what a freaking nightmare…read more We ordered a $700 item that their website said was "In Stock"... so, to be on the safe side, I called the store to verify that they, in fact, did have that product in stock... the guy I talked to assured me that they did have the item. So, I placed the order...mere minutes after placing the order (paying for the item for store pickup) we received an email saying it was "out of stock" but that they had one at another store that would be shipped to the Wichita store, but would take 7-10 days. Needless to say, we were not happy! 13 days later, the Wichita store FINALLY got this item back in stock (according to their website). So, I called the store again and spoke to an individual who assured me (again) that they did have the item in the store. So, I asked if our existing online order could be filled by the item they currently had in the store...(no brainer, right?). He said, after checking with management, that we would need to cancel our existing order, then they would set the item aside and we could come in, pay for it, and pick it up. Of course, that meant we were at the mercy of their refund process (which took 5 days, btw), so we were out $1400 until they decided to refund our money. We picked up the item later that same day with no more hassle...thank God! Never, ever, again will we make an online order from Scheels... we like the store, but my goodness, for an employee owned company, one would think they would take more pride in their customer service.

What I like about here is they have great customer service and each section is laid out well to where I can find most things I need and want quickly. The end of season sales are amazing sometimes! I also like how you can buy items online, ship to your home with free shipping, and return to the store with no problems. Sometimes I can only find certain items online since the store we have here is not as large as some of the others. I recently discovered their trade in for Golf Clubs which is a great idea! With Sports Authority going out of business you are left with only a few options of places in town to shop and this place has always had great service and very well organized for most the things you need.

One of the items we ordered sat in the back until we asked for it. They were out of drinks that we wanted to order, they were out of the beer we wanted to order. The waitress never came back to see if we needed our water or soda refilled. We had to go ask for silverware. At 10 minutes till seven. We were told that there was another party coming in at seven and we were made to leave the area and go inside. We finished our dinner inside and we're getting ready to leave when the loudest, most obnoxious screaming started happening with a bullhorn about someone's birthday. It was so loud and hurtful that we all rushed out of the building. They might want to rethink using a bullhorn in the bar area as it echoes, and it is not pleasant at all. I will probably never go back to this location.

I was sent someone else's LARGE order. After hours of hunting for this team on Facebook to let them know I had their uniforms, my friend and I were successful and found the team. Besides that, they might as well post for shipping, you get it when you get it and not an actual date. There's literally no accountability. I feel like they have little to no contact with their vendor. Or their vendors just don't care what they think..... I am always told they are in contact with their vendor but then no update. The item just arrives when it does. If you are ordering, give yourself +2 weeks from ETA for a safe buffer, maybe even 3 weeks. They said a not acceptable past ETA is a couple of weeks. Eeek! The customer service is non-existent. They just repeat the same lines over and over again and at some point your order will arrive at your door with no shipping notification. I've ordered 4 times and not once have I been given a tracking number via email. The custom jerseys are thin which you expect for $20. The items are made in the Caribbeans from what I have noticed. Still waiting for my order, was told earlier this week contacted vendor will update you. End of week still no correspondence when following up. How lame! After Epic Sports replied to my review, I thought great they want to try to help. Nope, just trying to look good that they responded. It's literally just their marketing department sending me the customer service link to start a ticket. Literally marketing saying they can't actually follow up. I already contacted them twice the week prior. Not sure how giving me a link to what I already have completed is of any assistance.
