Came here to regrip my irons and repair one of my clubs. The service is far superior to the other golf chain down the street. They also price matched the grip install for .99 cents which helped out a lot. While their competitor took 4 days to complete my grip install last summer, these guys had it done by next morning - I dropped them off the afternoon before. They also saved my older grips. I wanted them because they had a unique design. I ended up having them put the saved grips on my wedges. I've had great experiences shopping here as well. I was in this store looking for a women's cart bag for 20 minutes. The bags are just off the cash registers. No one ever came to ask if I needed help. I walked the store to look at ladies apparel, which by the way is less than 1/3 of the mens, and no one asked if the could assist me. As I was walking out I noticed 4 employees standing around the register yacking. The prices are no different than their competitors, where I actually did receive help. Ladies, you have better choices for your golf gear. Choose wisely. This is not a store I would support. read more

My experience at this location has been no engagement from the staff. No greeting upon entry, no engagement during shopping. I was actually looking to purchase a new bag and possibly a powered cart. Upon leaving, nothing from the staff. This has been my experience on my last few visits. I do love the store layout and selection of items. read more

Andrew was patient in his approach and took the time to work with me to find the irons and driver that best suit my game BASED UPON the DATA TRACKMAN reported. He also interpreted the data and explained what was happening with my swing. This led to trying various club heads and shafts to see what worked best for me. A shout out to clubfitter Myron. He worked with me on the purchase of a Ping driver and a fairway metal. I wanted to try that brand and particular models, and he did not try to change my mind. He did not push a sale. Although he has to know details of many different club brands, he knew Ping well and tried several different clubhead and shaft combinations before finding one that was the obvious choice for me. But he didn't try to close the sale right away. He let me ask for other clubs to try, until I asked to come back to that one great combination. He let me sell myself on the clubs. And days later I remain very happy with the purchase. The rest of the store staff, manager Andrew, front counter people, etc. were very welcoming too. I purchased a wedge here too a few years ago. Different salesman but same good service. This is a good golf store. read more

Came in for a driver fitting a couple weeks ago and was very pleased with the experience. After working with the fitter (Greg) through the specs I needed for a driver, he asked me what brands I wanted to hit. He didn't select a driver for me or steer me toward any manufacturer in particular. The driver seemed to choose me based on how well I hit the one I ended up purchasing versus all of the others I tried. Great experience and large club selection. read more

Unprofessional. Unfriendly. Came here looking to get recommendations for a new Ping driver since my snapped. Heads up- this place charges a $100 fee for fitting. I was greeted by John who was not friendly and had zero interest in helping me. As a female golfer this man said in a condescending voice- "We don't sell women's club" and to his dismay I responded "I play men's clubs anyways." Such a let down since I've been a loyal customer to Golf Galaxy. Don't worry! PGA superstore is next door. Way better customer service. read more

I enjoy playing golf and that means I need supplies, well not really need but more of a want. That's exactly what happened on this visit to Golf Galaxy. Of course I found a new driver, that I don't need. I also found some new shoes, that I don't need. I also found some stylish new clothes, also that I don't need. I did find some junior clothes that I was surprised to see as they are usually scarce to find. I found an impressive selection of bags, balls and training aids too. The staff were great and kept asking me if they could put my selections at the counter, which after being asked multiple times I finally agreed to. There is a large putting green with an amble supply of golf balls to hit some puts with. The selection of putters was rather limited but that didn't stop me from draining a few putts. Walking past a hitting bay I couldn't help but to stop and grab a driver and drive for show. The nearby computer showed the carry distance and total distance as well as ball speed and club head speed. Walking around I noticed a separate area for lessons and custom fittings. This Golf Galaxy means business and they have mine. I was even thanked for my business as I left. I left unlike my drives which were right down the middle. read more

Went in on May 31 to get a new shaft. I was told they would need to order online through Ping which would require 24-48 hours delivery. I paid in advance and waited. I didn't hear anything for several days so I called on Monday June 5 (was on hold for 9 minutes). I was told the delay was on Ping's end and my item would be in on Tuesday (the 6th) between 1 pm and 5 pm. After not hearing from them yet again I went to the store directly and spoke with a representative. He said I should have never been quoted a 24-48 hour delivery, he said it's usually 2-3 weeks. I would have never paid in advance for something that far off. He checked the tracking number and said the item should be in Thursday the 8th. I asked for a refund and went across the street to the PGA store and got a new shaft and grip in 72 hours for about $12 more. No apology for the misinformation and being lied to, they acted as if they did nothing wrong. read more

Matt was very helpful in choosing the proper grip and explaining the re-gripping process to ensure the best fit for me. He was very helpful, patient and informative. I would recommend Greg if your looking for new clubs with a professional club fitting. We purchased my new driver from Greg versus being able to purchase it at a significant discount from our country club primarily because of our wonderful experience with Greg. I purchased a gift card on line. I paid a $20 dollar fee for fedex 2 day delivery. After 5 days I called and it had not shipped. I called, the clerk was not at all attentive to the situation he just offered a refund. Beware of this vednor for on-line purchases. read more
