I recently did a putter fitting with Drew and it was an amazing experience! His technical knowledge is outstanding and he found the perfect balance of taking input and acknowledging my preferences while still sharing his vast knowledge and thoughtful insights on making a club selection. I would highly recommend custom fittings to those that are really into golf and I've always had great results using Club Champion... but if you get a chance, definitely book with Drew as he's phenomenal!! read more

Not a pleasant experience. The fitter assigned to me seemed impatient as he was tapping his feet and hands as I was hitting (not that I'm claiming it disrupted my swing). I was fitted for a wedge. The following day I went to my local simulator and my swing numbers were better than the club I was fitted for. I sold my new club immediately to try to recoup money. Also, the free fitting with a purchase of a custom club...is not worth it as you are charged twice the price of the club if you were to order it from another retailer. read more

Got fit for a full Bag and Drew K was awesome! Definitely recommend! He was very knowledgeable about every product he grabbed off the well. If Haven't been fit before I highly recommend going to club champion and seeing Drew and get your game fit right! read more

Recently did a full bag fitting with Drew. He was phenomenal analyzing the data and relaying what he was looking for to get me fitted into clubs that matched my swing. Asked alot of questions and learned alot! Very happy with the fitting process and will be back soon to get other clubs upgraded. Oh and this is coming from a 14 handicap, so higher handicappers well worth getting your clubs fitted to your swing whether you buy a new club or not! read more

I received a fitting recently from Brad Syslo and Matt from Manhattan at Club Champion for my new driver, 3 wood and hybrid. We discussed set composition first to figure out the correct lofts for the wood/hybrid. Then got down to the club head and shaft combination. It was truly amazing how after they baseline off my clubs, they can optimize the shaft/clubhead combination immediately. Getting down to it, I received a THOROUGH fitting. Brad actually gave a look at the swing to help inconsistent contact for outliers!! We dialed up making sure I was satisfied just as much as they were satisfied with the results. High quality experience and you cannot beat the price for the time spent on me. Very satisfied and can't wait to take money from everyone in early 2025 and beyond!!! read more

Austin was excellent! Great analysis and breakdown. Was able to fairly efficiently dial in what the best option was for me... definitely more pricey but well worth it to get the right gear for you. Compared to other fittings, this was more professional. read more

Jason Chobar is a great fitter! Did a putter fitting with him and he was super knowledgeable, candid with his feedback and provided a no pressure experience. He exceeded all expectations. I now have a clear plan up improve my putting with the right specs for any future putter purchase, a few stroke tips and confidence to make more putts. Go see Jason in Willowbrook! read more

Drew Koch did an excellent job of fitting me for my clubs. He is very knowledgeable and really took the time to do things right. He also had excellent follow up to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend Drew and Club Champion. read more

Great experience at Club Champion Golf Willowbrook-IL last Saturday with Austin. My 8th grade son plays competitive golf and needed to get fitted correctly from his hand me downs. What a difference, about a club more distance on all irons. Nothing like adding more confidence as he goes into High School this fall. Austin knew how to talk and handle an 8th grader and it made the fitting go great. Thank you Club Champion. read more

Fitting for clubs is really important, and Club Champ checks the box on that piece--their fitters are generally knowledgeable and can help with club setup. Most disappointing is the fact these guys will lie straight to your face about pricing, and the Club Champ model is to charge you significantly above MSRP in bogus "club build" premiums. When I called and asked about this, I got roundabout answers and after I pushed, I was repeatedly promised to be refunded on the additional charges I unknowingly paid. Spoiler alert, that refund was never made despite multiple in-person and telephone conversations. Plenty of other fitters (ex. Golftec) that won't run you around worse than a used car salesman. Very disappointing and won't be back. read more

Thank you to Drew Koch for helping my dad gain 30 yards during his driver fitting. Drew was also very helpful with educating him on what the numbers meant on the trackman. read more

Brad Syslo was outstanding!!! Very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to anyone I know. Great experience!!!

I got fitted for irons and woods . The fitter could not get me dialed in on irons so we moved to woods I had some good rips with the clubs so I purchased them although it was about 800 per club . I got the clubs excited to hit them I went out to the range with only those two clubs . I hit over 150 shots all to the left and none to the projections I was hitting at the bay . Thinking it might be the mats at the range I hit the course and played 3 rounds and haven't hit a desired shot yet . I went to the pga store and picked up the same clubs off the shelf and hit them in the bay fine when I got to my custom clubs the left hook appeared again . I've asked for a return countless times and refused just told to come back in , but It left a bad taste in my mouth I never will step foot in a club champion again and suggest you don't as well read more

So I deserve the best fiancé award.... bc this girl bought all custom clubs for her fiancé, including a baller new golf bag lol! But really. My fiancé raved about club champion so I finally sent him to get fitted. He had such a great time and came home and would NOT STOP TALKING about his experience. Finally, months later, I pulled the trigger and spent the money on new clubs. They could have sold me tree sticks and I wouldn't have noticed. My fiancé was more than impressed. He had one concern but his go to guy didn't hesitate to fix it. My five stars go to Brad and Matt. I called CC and spoke with Brad and very much stressed how this was a surprise. I didn't want my fiancé finding out at all. Brad assured me and put notes on the account to not contact my fiancé. He emailed and called me only and it was a success! 10 days later they were ready. When I went to pick them up, I didn't need to even say anything. Matt directly said "You're picking up for Kirk?" (My fiancé.) I was more than impressed at his responsiveness and respect towards a customer. He even offered to bring the clubs to the car for me. I don't know of other club fitters, however, the customer service offered here will continue to make this company go far! read more

Club Champion - Willowbrook - Golf Equipment Near Me - Willowbrook, Illinois

READ THE FINE PRINT. The fitting sessions are more of a sales pitch - think about buying a car. Very similar situation. Here's my story: I saw the add for a full bag fitting special for $100. sadly, after finding and reading the fine print, the normal $400 price tag is only reduced to $100 if you spend $500 on equipment. OK, shame on me for not finding the fine print. After seeing this, I reached out to CC to understand what was required, but then never responded. When I went for the fitting, I was told there is the requirement but since I was looking to purchase wedges and I get close, they'd work it out. Long story short, their idea of 'working it out' is me paying the full $400. But wait, that's not all, even though I did not get a putter fitting and the session only went 3 hours, not the scheduled 3 1/2 hours, I was still charged the full $400 when it should have been $325. read more

Had an incredible experience today with my putter fitting with Drew K. Drew was extremely knowledgeable and explained the fitting process and different elements of a putter and putting stroke in a simplistic way. I brought two putters of mine and after checking the data on my swing, realized both putters are completely wrong for my putting stroke. Drew put aside about 6 different putters for me to try. The first ended up being my favorite and all in all a great experience. I will be back for more fittings with Drew K. read more

I had reservations about getting clubs tailored to my skill set, but this place definitely made me feel comfortable. I must admit, you better be ready to swing the clubs for quite a few hours but it was worth it. They are a bit pricier than some places, but if you want the best service and attention to detail this is the place to go. read more

Don't get fooled by this place I went here for a full bag fitting and after receiving my clubs I could not hit them. I am a scratch golfer playing in college, so I take my equipment very seriously. After a week of not being able to hit the new clubs I went to my local pro and he told me the fit was completely wrong, we did a new fitting at my local course and the end result was much better. Not to mention the ridiculous prices this place charges. One of my buddies got fitted for a driver that cost him $1200!! He sold it a month later! This place may seem great but do not spend ungodly amounts of money at this place!!!! read more

Brad and staff are unreal. Walked in w my son from out of town for Jr golf tournament in desperate need of a driver and 3w adjustment. Son was treated like a tour player. Classy group of guys that def know their stuff. I've been skeptical in the past (don't want to be pushed into something). Brad is our club fitter going forward. Period. read more

Be VERY CAREFUL! Especially amateurs that are not in tune w club fitting - specifically pull shafts. Not only was I put into an Accra shaft which is one of the largest margins they have in a shaft but more disturbing is my new swing coach went to remove my custom shaft for another driver head and found that they used a used shaft. That is so unacceptable and goes to show the average consumer that the equity guys need their margins. So here I am with hundreds into a new shaft to only be tricked into buying what was a used shaft. Disgusting! read more

I've visited Club Champion a total of 3 times, twice for a driver and or irons and once for irons. My first experience was with Nick. I was looking for a new driver, after hitting balls on the Trackman we found I was getting just about as much as I could from my current club so there was no sense in getting a new one. Nick took the time to look at my 3 wood and 5 wood because I mentioned I thought they flew too high with too much spin. He quickly fitted me with a shaft that would knock both the spin and the flight down while adding more distance. I couldn't be happier with those clubs 1 year later. My most recent experience was with Torrey. I came looking for a new set of irons to replace my Ping S55's. Torrey is great to work with, he takes his time and doesn't rush the fitting process at all. I wanted to get the Ping S55's but after hitting all the manufactures we found that my best fit was the Titleist AP2. We went even further then to say well the numbers from Ping and Titleist are close, however, on off center hits the Titleist has better numbers on off center hits, not to mention better feel. I am 100% satisfied with club champion. I'm a firm believer in doing something right the first time and getting what you pay for. You may pay more at club champion, but for someone who will be using these clubs for at least 7 years, it's money well spent. read more

Best fitting experience I have had in the last 25 years. My fitter, Brad Gehrke, was extremely knowledgeable, answered my questions, and put me a position to be successful out on the course. Most of all, he was passionate about what he does! highly recommend club champion and Brad for your next fitting read more

I can't express enough how the master fitter Brad is over here. He has tons of experience and awesome to talk with and relate to about your golf game. They assess what you want to take away from them. This place isn't for the beginning golfer, but is for the player who wants to improve, and wants to make that commitment to the value of clubs in their bag. If you play 10-20 times a summer like I do in the Midwest, this will be worth every penny, rather than getting clubs off the rack at Dicks or PGA Superstore. read more

Huge disappointment. Bought clubs 18 month earlier and wanted a 2nd set for Florida so I contacted them in March and just got my clubs today. Yes COVID impacted the process but not all of it. When I first ordered my contact Andrew tried to upcharge me for the same clubs I ordered 1 yr earlier, no fitting need just a reorder. When I called him on it, he immediately dropped the price dramatically. Seemed like they were trying to take advantage of the COVID circumstances. I moved forward because it was the most convenient option and patiently waited but was required to pay in full upfront. Never received any updates but after several emails I finally was informed that my order was in but the clubs had the wrong shafts. Instead of an apology, Andrew suggested maybe I should take the clubs anyways, I tried to just cancel my order at this point but was told I could not, no refund, no discount for losing the entire season just more waiting. I finally got my clubs today a full 6 months after ordering, no apology, nothing. Lots of options for custom fittings so I suggest anyone ready to look elsewhere. read more

I had a putter fitting with Andrew Moores tonight. We started with using the SAM Lab to get an idea of my putting stroke, then we tried several new putters to match that. I asked if we could try to adjust my current putter to more match my stroke, and Andrew nailed it. There was zero pressure to buy anything and I could not have asked for a better experience. read more

I Had a full bag fitting with Roger Paiz today at the willowbrook IL store and I was blown away by the amount of detail that comes with a club champion custom fitting. From start to finish Roger was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Not only did I have confidence that Roger would fit me for the right clubs by all the data provided I knew for sure that my golf game would improve. There is one thing that doesn't lie and that's the NUMBERS. You can't fool the trackman system. I have never struck the ball so well in my life. I would highly recommend visiting your local Club Champion and getting properly fitted and instantly improving your golf game. read more

If you are serious about your golf game, you need be professionally fitted! This is the place to do it. Over the past several years, I have been fitted (at the Willowbrook Club Champion location) for my driver, 3-metal, hybrid, irons and wedges (on different occasions). Each time I have been very happy with my experience and my equipment has been optimized. Kudos to Roger Paiz, Master Fitter. Keep up the good work! read more

Went in about a month ago for a full bag fitting. Driver through putter. Can't describe how happy I am with the service Eric provided and the end product. I've played about 5 rounds now with my new set and it was worth every penny. Besides getting the perfect clubs for my swing, Eric was provided a great experience! It was like the ultimate "spa" day for a guy. If you enjoy golf and are looking to take the next step in your game schedule and appointment with Eric or Andrew. First class all the way and honestly even better than I expected. Looking forward to going back and testing out my new clubs with the Trackman equipment they have at the shop. If you have a "prove it" mentality their equipment won't steer you wrong. Definitely has translated on the course. Thank you again, Eric. I appreciate your time and dilligence to getting me fitted with the best clubs for my swing and improving my game. read more

I had a full bag fitting with Eric Miller at Pittsburgh Club Champion and he is excellent. He takes the time to explain the metrics they use to evaluate club heads and shafts, the different options and finally the recommended products. Fantastic Experience! Worked with Kyle Morris on my fitting and had a wonderful experience - who thought you could have some fun at a fitting! He answered all my questions and educated me as well on a number of other related points. Went through the progressions and got me to the club I'm hopeful will be a game changer for me. Thanks Kyle! read more

Leif is awesome. Experience is amazing and you learn a ton. If you are a serious golfer you should do this. Best of all they are agnostic to what you buy and are the first to say "do nothing" if your equipment doesn't need changing. read more

Would not recommend. Roger was suppose to be my master fitter. All he did was answer the phone and handle the register. He left me with two other guys that were in training. They seemed ok, but talked to much , and not about my swing. I was , I guess , ok at the end . Was told they would follow up in a few days and would email my results. 4 days later , I contacted them and asked for Roger. I was told he was 'with a customer'. I told the individual on the phone, 'well , what am I? ' . I asked for Roger to call me later in the day. He never did . I called again the next day ,still not in receipt of my results, Track Man Golf. I started to get very angry. Finally at the end of the day, I received my report. I will never return nor recommend this place. read more

i went to club champion with torey for club fitting, after paying 745 and 10 days later. i picked up my custom driver. it was a PING the only brand i told torey i DIDNT WANT! i told him i hated it didnt want it. but was told i was stuck with it. so remember when going to club champion they give you the club THEY want you to have not the club you want. read more

Great staff and knowledgeable about club fitting. I went for a Driver and Iron fitting and found the experience very interesting. I tried various combinations of heads and shafts in an effort to maximize distance and control. A little about me, I'm an 8 handicap who relies on my short game to score. Ball striking has always been my Achilles heel and with the driver I'm dangerous. No idea where it's going most of the time. Actually I take that back, I do know it's going left the question is how far to the left. I'm also a guy of average height and build so I always thought clubs off the rack would work just fine. As it turns out my thinking was way off. I took the club fitter's recommendation (Mike from Club Champion) and ran with it. The results, I've seen a noticeable improvement in my ball striking from the very first swing I made with my new clubs. Never again will I buy a set of clubs off the rack. It's not an inexpensive process at Club Champion but I do believe their experience and technology places them at the top of the club fitting business. read more
