The person at the front was also very helpful in navigating and offering to set up a subscription for recent releases - which I will DEFINITELY take them up on once I move back to Miami. If you're looking for a comic shop I would definitely say make this one of your stops :)!

As a long time nerd, I have grown up visiting many comic book shops. Korka Comics really is on the…read moreupper echelon of my list. They always seem to have an infinite number of funko pops and their selection of other collectibles is also quite extensive. And of course they have comic books. Store is always clean and organized which unfortunately is not the norm amongst comic books shops. For the most part they are friendly and willing to answer any question. But what really sets this store aside is how organized and fully stocked they always seem to be. If in Miami and looking for local comic book shop to spend some time at then make sure it's Korkas. And if you don't believe me then look for the alternatives and you'll see why Korkas is the spot.

This comic store has been here for well over 15 years & I've been a customer of theirs for quite…read moresome time. From the outside it doesn't seem too big but you quickly realize how much space they're working with when you step inside. They're filled out wall to wall with comics, collectibles, figures & even have a RPG space set up. I've been to stores that heavily favor one category like super heroes, for example, while leaving all the other genres hanging. PPF however, has one of the best selection of varieties in my opinion. They're loaded with DC, Marvel, TMNT, horror, manga & also carry some niche ones. I also appreciate how they stay up to date on weekly & monthly releases with a section dedicated to them. Prices are solid & they often have a couple limited/exclusive variants. These are a bit overpriced but sometimes it's better to get them in person & support local rather than online & deal with shipping. Years ago, customer service was a bit iffy but recently it's been nothing but great. They greet you right away, have no issues answering questions & act like they appreciate your business. This is a great place to check out if you're a fan of pop culture, comics, figures or books in general. It's really hard to stop by & not leave with something in hand.

They maintain a nearly full stock of current releases no matter the day of the week. The staff are also SUPER sweet, had a lot of great suggestions. Spoke to one of the staff about absolute Wonder Woman and she had a ton of recommendations on other comics I might like. A note on the low reviews: I came here before and had the chance to talk to the current owner, the shop has come under new management, so don't let the low reviews scare you! This has genuinely been one of my favorite comic shops in South Florida so I definitely recommend checking it out. Also I know they do challenges for free items on their instagram, so if that's something you're interested in - I'd really recommend following them! Happy shopping, friends~

With three locations, chances are, they have it. The not so good news - The store has limited parking on site, but fear not! There are several parking garages nearby and if you ride-share, it's easy to find! I highly recommend paying them a visit if you're an aficionado like myself.
