It has been almost a year and I keep getting told to just wait all while getting charged at every turn for every X-ray for a problem they created. I am in constant pain, I really wish I never went to this place, I have multiple gaps in my teeth that I did not have before. The dentist here just rushed to do my fillings, while talking about cabinets instead of focusing on my teeth! Went to another Ideal when I first was experiencing pain and she said my fillings were super high, although I told the dentist at the Presidio location that my bite was off, she told me that they didn't look high to her! I'm sick and tired of my pain and concerns not taking seriously while I have been dealing with this issue for almost a year now. I really regret going here and just trusting dentist to suggest and do what is best instead of doing things for money and not knowing what they are doing. Instead of trying to help me with the problem they caused, they keep trying to suggest other treatment that has nothing to do with my pain! I've made my last visit to North Tarrant Dental ever!…read more Last several visits have seemed like nothing more than a sales ad for every imaginable upsell they could think of. $25 for this $50 for that and non stop during your visit. My last trip back for a cleaning, they told me I needed to have a full xray set using the machine that circles your head because insurance required it to make payment for a previous submittal claim. Nothing was said about payment and I was under the impression this was just something they did for them to get paid. Today I learned I was wrong. Here came the bill and I called up the office to explain I didn't feel this was a charge I should be responsible for and they simply said "Too bad, you're responsible for the charge" I explained it should have been said this would be a charge to me just so they could get paid but nope they simply pushed it through as normal and when I said I didn't feel I should be charged and this balance should be removed, they responded with a simple "I'm not going to remove it". I stated that if the charge was not removed, I would not return and to cancel all future appointments. Apparently this was fine with them so with that, I'm done with North Tarrant Dental along with my wife. They've seen the last money from our family and my insurance. If you like the used car salesman approach, this clinic is for you. In the event you feel you deserve respect then I highly recommend against this facility and it's staff. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED - HAD BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR ABOUT 15 YEARS.

Dentistry For Life (DFL) gladly accepted my UNUM Dental Insurance for Exam and Cleaning. The DFL…read moretook Full Advantage of my UNUM Dental Insurance by taking more than just the typical bite wing but also full head and mouth X-rays and Scans to the Full Extent my Dental Insurance Allowed. The Initial Examination by the Dental Hygienist took the liberty of pushing the sale of expensive orthodonics to align and straighten teeth and expensive Deep Cleaning Gum Therapy Treatments. During the Dentist Exam it was determined that an Old Capped and Root Canal Tooth needed to be extracted but instead of simply doing the Tooth Extraction which was covered by the UNUM Dental Insurance decided to refer me to an expensive Dental Inplant and Surgery Specialist ( A Good Friend of the Dentist). After taking all the expensive pictures and scans of my teeth and jaw scheduled the Expensive Deep Cleaning for a week later to allow time to complete the time consuming procedure. When I learned that Deep Cleaning and Gum Treatments were not fully covered by the UNUM Dental Insurance I called to Cancel the Appointment as I could not afford the Expensive Dental Procedure which DFL quickly changed to a Simple Dental Cleaning in order to get a few last dollars out of my Dental Insurance was subsequently advised by DSL that my UNUM Dental Insurance would not longer be accepted by DSL and that I would need to find another Dentist Office that accepts the Insurance or pay Full Price (Non-Insured) Costs for Future Dental Services Rendered by DSL. Now forced to have to find another Less Greedy Dentist that will accept my UNUM Dental as Full Payment for Dental Services.

I met Dr. Jeremy Unger, D.D.S for the first time. We had a brief customary Q&A. Dr. Unger was professional and explained the re-cement of my crown and procedures. The Dental Assistant was nice and attentive and it was a nice team experience of the procedure. The whole process was smooth and their dental experience was a pleasant one. Dr. Unger is a good and nice man and his work in the highest quality. I recommend him without hesitation.
